Abbey's Real Texas BBQ

Everything was so good and tasted really fresh. All the food came out piping hot and quick. Will definitely be going back again.

Was craving some Texas barbecue so my friend and I found this on Google and went to try it. I ordered the Texas Chainsaw Mammoth Sandwich ($20 - Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, Mild Kielbasa, Bacon, Over Easy Egg, American Cheese, Onion Rings, Coleslaw, Fries, BBQ Sauce and Ranch), smoked burnt ends and a half pint of potato salad. Food was solid but the brisket was kinda dry. What a mountain of a sandwich though. My buddy got brisket, baked beans and potato salad.

Their wings are smoked to perfection and the garlic parm are some of the best I’ve had! Love the ribs, brisket, cornbread and everything in between. 100% stop by for an amazing bbq meal🔥🔥🔥

As a True Texan. This is some of the best BBQ I’ve tasted yet! And I won’t forget to mention the AMAZING customer service. Definitely coming back my next trip to San Diego!

Delicious BBQ! A mix of Texas and Kansas City BBQ styles, but delicious. The appetizer links and the smothered BBQ fries were so good. You get to choose the meat on top of the fries, I chose brisket. The cornbread is like butter! So darn good. Family friendly.

I ordered for takeout.3.8 is probably my more accurate rating. Service was excellent, efficient and courteous staff. The place was clean and the food selection is extensive. Pricewise, I could probably get better value somewhere else. I’m usually generous with my ratings but I think I expected more based on the reviews and a personal recommendation. I was too excited to try their BBq. It was okay, nothing special. The sides we got were just okay, not too flavorful. But the onion rings were really delicious!Side note: the online app didn’t give the option of getting 2 sides for my platter and my choices for the sides and the bread were not forwarded to the kitchen. They gave me 2 sides and bread of their choice. Upon pickup I informed them and they gave me my side choice (in addition to what they already packed). For customer service, I’m giving them a 5 and I will come back to try other dishes.

People who really know bbq, know this is hands down the best place in San Diego. Been coming here for over 20 years and still as good as the first time they made me fall in love with bbq as a child.

Pittmaster BBQ, authentic, perfect Texas smoked BBQ and sides. The crew are weloming, generous, extremely talented and knowledgeable. Texas BBQ can only be done one way and this is the way it is done at Abbey's. Enjoyable, relaxing atmosphere and great music.

The BBQ sauce & brisket, corn bread and ham were delicious, and very tender. Also the fact that they have craft beer there, that was a big plus!! Food aside the staff was friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to fulfill your bbq cravings 😋 BTW the micheladas were brimmed with Tamarindo and Tajin and my husband loved it 🍺 we will be back 😀

This place was amazing. It was all good I had to make a take out bbq order for my friends. The service was great and they had the order ready quickly.I ordered their brisket and pulled pork.

I was in this restaurant for the first time, as in many others, but it was this restaurant that I remember because two people patiently worked with me during the order.yes, yes, they worked, because I did not understand what they were explaining to me))) because of my English and terminology.but as a result these kind people were very patient and did everything in the best way, asking me to trust them)and this decision was cool) I got an incredible combination of salad and meat in barbecue sauce, which sated my body gently and gently.and while I was eating, these wonderful guys came up to me and asked with concern whether everything was fine, whether everything was to my liking.and it was very cute and makes them even more credible! the food was divine, the restaurant is filled with blues music and a relaxing environment, just what I needed!!! I wish this place to grow and develop!Well, of course I will come here again!
