Three Decker Diner

Super busy and packed on nice weather Saturday morning. We went to the place and didn't be able to get in. We went home and order for delivery instead. Food came quickly but terrible packing. The juice from the food is leaking all over the paper bag and tare the bag. Delivery guy told me to call the restaurant if I have any problems with the food because the bag was leaking from the beginning. At least if they know there is a watery order, they should wrap the container up with plastic wrap to prevent the food break down the bag. I order steak and eggs; the steak has too much fat and potato are too soggy, meh. I went to eat there at least twice in past years and remember I wasn't crazy about the food but because I saw the place still there and want to give them a chance. So, I guess they didn't improve anything.

Three Decker is my new favorite diner. I started coming to this diner regularly a few weeks ago for lunch. Sitting at the counter is ideal for a loner like me. The staff always make me feel welcome and greet me with smiles. The food is great. I get the burger most often. It's awesome and cheaper than most other diner burgers. I have to go for pancakes at breakfast sometime soon.

Food is usually amazing, but both service and food quality can vary towards end of the night. Pancakes might even be from scratch, really damn good pancakes!I was served a Monte Cristo on dry toast instead of French toast and it broke my heart. Servers will ignore your table to chat and play on phones. But I guess thats all part of the fun.

We were at Sunday lunch. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Tight inside, but nice. Efficient service, tasty dishes, moderate prices. They immediately serve water in glasses, refill coffee. Good location, right next to the metro station. I recommend!

Our family loves eating at Three Decker Diner. The wattresses we encountered were so friendly, hardworking, and relatable. My sister has a disability and is also Deaf and at Three Decker Diner their outgoing, friendly, and inclusive nature made my sister feel welcomed and understood. Great atmosphere and a great place for all to relax and enjoy great food and family time.

Awesome tentative folks, live atmosphere like a true New York diner, it's small but comfortable seating, half hour wait if walking in on a busy day. My daughter enjoyed her pancakes with alot of whip cream! waitress was so funny! She knows what kids love! 💕

Hard to complain about a classic diner!Food was excellent. Corn beef hash and pastrami was perfectly cooked.Servers are nice, good atmosphere, and not expensive!
