I may have persuaded other tables to place similar orders after they saw my chicken and waffles arrive. The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a juicy, soft inside and a crispy, well-seasoned exterior. The waffles were hot and fluffy, and the savory-sweet combination of the waffles and chicken was ideal when drenched in their syrup. I also purchased their wonderful black coffee.

Lovely little spot right on the corner of Fort Greene park. Nice to be able to look out on the park while enjoying your meal.Food was good, I had a shakshuka. Wouldn't say it is outstanding, but we all enjoyed our dishes.Would (and will) definitely revisit.

Great food especially the fries, loved the drinks, and sitting outside is delightful. But the truest joy was having Vince as our server. He made the meal so much better with personality and suggestions!

Meh. Went for brunch in late May, 2023. It was Memorial Day, so maybe it was a staffing thing. The food and the service was, "ok".===It's good. Do I wake up every day needing to go? No. Is the, "not that long", "shouldn't be an issue", 10 block walk, a barrier to visiting? Yes. Tables are a bit too tight, music can be too loud, and much too often there is a wait. All that said, bright interior, attentive staff, good drinks.

honestly, the food here is pretty decent, the location is great, and it's cute. i've been here a couple of times and my experience with the customer service was vastly different each time. the first time I came here was with a couple of friends who are white (i am a non-black person of color) and we had a lovely time. the waiter was so attentive and nice. the second time I came back, I came in with a couple of my black girlfriends and we were basically ignored all night. it was a different crew that were working that time. it took like 20 minutes for us to get the condiments we asked for and the waitress didn't care to check in on us at all and when she did, she was pretty rude. also, the music was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. I don't know, it was pretty embarrassing to bring my friends here and have them treated like that when they were nothing but lovely and patient.

Great service and for the price, you actually get a good serving of food. I had the steak which came with fries and salad and it was delicious. Space can be a little cramped but other than that a great spot.

I 1st heard of Walters when they moved in to Williamsburg brookay. My wife and I ate there constantly at least2 2 3 days out of the Owners by the name of danny And the staff treated ask VIP from the beginning fortunately fortunately. They closed and I have to go to decal still the same treatment. I can remember when my wife passed away. They also grieved. Danny and the staff. Treated me and my wife like if we were family and i'm pretty sure they treat everybody else like that I know that for sure.

Walter’s is located on the corner of Dekalb and Cumberland across from Fort Green park. The restaurant is clean and crisp with a nice vibe, both indoor and outdoor seating. I went here for lunch and had the fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, gravy and a spicy honey - $25. The chicken was perfectly fried and complemented by the sides. I enjoyed the meal, the service was fast, polite and attentive. I’d go again, definitely for drinks this time.
