Chubz Famous Chiliburgers

Stopped here tonight on the way back to Fort Mill. The burgers and fries were delicious! All fresh ingredients! We sat at the bar and chatted with Steve. We will definitely be back!

I ate here last night for the first time. The man who helped us was very friendly and helped us figure out what to get. We got a double chili burger, single cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings. Everything was cooked to order and delicious. I'll definitely be back!

OMG!! Food was amazing. Me and my husband shared this plate. Happy we did not get extra fries because we didn’t need them. Staff was super friendly and casually talked about the Dallas Cowboys (my hat, lol)! Definitely ordering again!!

🤤🤤Burgers and hotdogs are FANTASTIC!! This is our second Saturday in a row! We had our kids (7/8) this time and they literally cleared their baskets and declared it the best restaurant ever. To impress kids with JUST FOOD no gimmicks, nothing fancy and sans dessert really says a lot!! I'm just mad I keep getting full and forgetting to order the onion rings🤣🤣

First, service was great. everyone was super nice. got the double cheesburger and chili dog fries and drink for 16 and change. great price. Fries were delicious and fresh. seasoned salt was also a great addition. burger was sooo delicious. just good beef. and the hot dog was epic. rheir chili game deffo strong. will be coming back next time i'm in town.

NEVER liked burgers...and then there was Chubz!!! Mr. Steve and Mitch are absolutely wonderful, it's always nice to see father and son working together and making AMAZING food as well. Highly recommend wherever you are in Charlotte, whether 5 minutes around the corner or a hour away, totally worth it. There's no other place like it around here!!! It had become a staple for my family and I, and now all of our friends are hooked.

We were recommended this place a couple years ago by word of mouth. We really love this little hole in the wall. It gives off an unkept vibe, and it’s in such an odd area; but the atmosphere is good and the workers are always prompt and amazing. The burgers are magnificent! Must try!

Good old style chilli cheese burgers. But it takes too long to get an order during noon time(almost 35 minutes). There are only two employees...So if you are in a hurry at noon time, find another place.

This place is just OUTSTANDING. I have had the double deluxe burger and the double chili cheese burger. They are both delicious. The fries are the best I have ever had. The service is second to none. Give this place a try. You will NOT be disappointed. Make sure to try the fry seasoning it is awesome.

I want to give Chubz 100 stars, A MILLION STARS!!!! I just had my order Doordash(ed) to me and OMG this was the best burger I’ve had since a child!!!!!!! I will definitely be taking a trip there soon. I have to meet the owner HE’S INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!

This place was okay. Filled the belly for sure. I was underwhelmed by the deluxe double. I expected more flavor especially since it had Chile and bacon on it. The Employees where pleasant enough the food was just okay

My wife and I stopped at Chubz Famous Chiliburgers on our way out of town, and our tastebuds will never be the same. The burgers had just enough char to tell you they were grill cooked, but still juicy and flavorful. The homemade chili that was generously slathered on our burgers and fries was magnificent, and the seasoning on the fries was quite complimentary. The staff would banter with each other and the regulars, creating a welcome atmosphere akin to a family gathering. Our only complaint is that the distance from home means we likely won't be returning anytime soon. :(

Visiting town to attend a concert…Walked into the restaurant with such a warm embrace and let’s not to mention the food was outstanding to say the least…. Truly enjoyed the “ special seasoning”..Definitely will be attending the next time I come to visit Charlotte for sure!

Great burgers at good price! Family owned and operated by Steve and his son. The chili is Steve' special recipe and goes with everthing. I had the number one combo with a double decker burger with chili, lettuce, tomato, cheese and pickles. This order came with fries and Steve made them chili cheese fries since it was my first time there. Delicious!

First of all the food is terrific very possibly legendary!!. Steve is great example of a great business owner and makes you feel like part of the chubz family from your first visit. Son Mitch is also a good guy that keeps the burgers comin!. Keep the good times rollin!.

Delicious burgers and fries. I've never had chili on a burger before but the recipe they developed works well with it. I'll admit, they are pricey for what you get but considering it's just the 2 of them (owner and son), and the owner himself was very friendly, I would say it's worth it. I can't afford to go there every time I want a burger, but I'll be back!

Out of my week at Charlotte this was the best restaurant I visited. Customer service was on point. Food was delicious. The atmosphere was very friendly and felt like you were hanging out with new friends. If I live in the area I would be a regular customer.

This is the only place I visit when craving a cheeseburger. I happily drive over 20 miles out-of-my-way to eat here. They serve the finest "Los Angeles County Burgers" in the south east. Steve and his son Scott are a credit to the flock.

Just 2 Canadian women with their kids stopped in North Carolina for the night on their way to Florida and thought there was a Ruby Tuesdays in the plaza, but turned out it was a Ruby's Therapy lol A nice police officer recommended Chubbs and we had the best food, best company and best laughs! Much love from us from Ontario Canada! The grilled chicken burger was delicious! The hamburger patty was that homemade love put into it, tasted amazing and the seasoning for the fries ? if we are ever back in NC, we are stopping again! ❤️
