This is my go to place in the neighborhood, especially if you're in the mood for some Italian! The couple that runs the restaurant are awesome, and the atmosphere is great if you need a romantic date spot. Highly recommend the carbonara with chili oil if you're a fan of hot and spicy.

My boyfriend and I were looking for an Italian place to eat lunch as our usual place was closed. We happily found Concrete on google maps and made our way over. When you walk up to it, you definitely wonder if you’re in the right place, but as soon as you step inside, the atmosphere is cozy, warm, and welcoming. We were greeted by Francesco, who was super hospitable. The menu has everything you’d want from an Italian place and more, even some classic American options. The cocktails were amazing, I had the espresso martini, which was one of the best I’ve had. My boyfriend had an Over the Counter, which was yummy and refreshing. We ordered two pastas and a pizza, which the pastas blew us away. Cooked perfectly for me, Al dente, but I can also see if some like theirs not as firm. The pizza was fluffy, crispy, and thin. The bottom was not soggy at all, perfectly crisp. My boyfriend still can’t stop talking about the hot oil on the pizza. All and all, the warm environment created by Francesco and his staff is an added plus to the amazing food they serve, we can’t wait to come back! PS the desserts are also incredible!!!

I came in to Concrete yesterday evening with my beau as we were attending a show across street at Brooklyn Art Cave and wanted smallbites/drinks before show.We walked into Concrete, which was a nice artsy space, and sat at the bar. Francesco was so friendly and great to talk to and prepared our drinks with such expertise. He gave us history about some of our drinks/dishes and also about the space itself.We enjoyed our drinks, and food. We had meatballs, fried artichokes and had cannolis for dessert.It was a great time, and we will be back soon!.Thanks for your hospitality Francesco!

One of the best atmospheres I have ever been in. Experience of the restaurant was the same almost anywhere you sat with an exception of the bar. Food was great and our plates were left empty! Would definitely recommend this spot for any occasion.

Perfect neighbourhood Italian eatery! Casual but cozy. Warm, authentic service, we felt so welcomed and had a great meal. The margarita pizza was perfect, the ideal combination of crispy and soft and perfectly charred…. Best tiramisu we had ever had! It was happy hour when we went, which was a nice bonus. Definitely will be back!

The moment you step in, the interior is just gorgeous. Our server was super nice and got us seated right away. After ordering, the food took around 20ish minutes to come out. We didn’t really mind, but the burger I got was underwhelming. I felt like it was missing something. There wasn’t much flavor to it.

Great find / gem right in my neighborhood! Shame on me for not discovering it before. Great rustic feel, authentic Sicilian food and the drinks, hostess and service was amazing. Very accessible near Myrtle and Bway and super cute for a date. Will definitely go back. Meatballs were my fav!!! Also had the tuna steak ?

Came here for the tail end of brunch. We were the only couple there. Both had a burger, both were incredibly dry, like cardboard. Generous portion of fries. Kind and attentive staff. Bohemian Berlin OranianStra found furniture decor vibes. The space used to be a bar/venue back in the day.

This place is a gem, the food was so fresh and amazing. I’d bet that they make their own pasta, if not I don’t care it was fantastic.My only meh was the price of their cocktails, I didn’t order one for that reason.And our waitress was perfectly laid back but attentive, she obviously takes pride in her work and the quality of the restaurant.10/10 would recommend to a friend

I took a trip to New York with a few friends, and a family member recommended Concrete. Eating here was the highlight of our trip! The food is delicious and Francesco and Candace are super friendly. We visited twice, and both times were absolutely amazing. We completely recommend and advise anyone to eat here, especially on Wednesday!

Best Italian spot in BK by far! Authentic Sicilian food is hard to come by in NY but Franscesco and his staff have one of the biggest selections and the dishes never get old because the chef always seems to find a way to outdo himself! Drinks were also outrageously good, this place is definitely here to stay!

A location that used to be an underground Bushwick rave venue called Palisades is now this really cool Sicilian eatery. Dining in the Bushwick/Bed-Stuy neighborhood keeps getting better due to places like this popping up. The food was excellent, the portions filling. The pasta was 'al dente' on the nail and the sauce had good flavor and a hearty consistency; everything that you would want in a proper Italian dining experience.Service was friendly and great, the place has a solid vibe. I'll be going back for sure.

Tolles sizilianisches Restaurant in super Atmosphäre. Speisen waren sehr lecker und professionell angerichtet. Auxh der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Ist definitiv ein Besuch wert, auch wenn es von außen nicht danach aussieht. 5 ⭐Great Sicilian restaurant in a great atmosphere. Food was delicious and professionally prepared. Auxh the service was very accommodating. Definitely worth a visit, even if it doesn't look like it from the outside. 5 ⭐

It’s one of those spot when you arrive you question that if you’re at the right place, until you go inside! Great spot, my first time with my friend who also loved his food. I got the chicken burger which was super juicy and delicious. The fries were great and they aren’t shy with a number of sauces that come with your order! I’m a sauce guy!+ an GREAT espresso martini. Def 10/10 recommend! They also have a stage so I’m assuming they have live performances. To sum it up, place is dope AF!

I have been coming here since they opened.I got to say that I never ever left disappointed.The food is so tasty and delicious, a real Sicilian Gem ( try their “Panelle” and prove me wrong ).The owners are always kind and available. The service, both at the bar and at the table, impeccable.Kayla and Candace were taking care of me today and they made my day with their hospitality.Warmly recommend!

GREAT SICILIAN FOOD AND AMAZING ATMOSPHERE!!!We had the most wonderful dinner at CONCRETE.The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable with an outstanding service. The food was absolutely delicious and for sure at a higher level if compared to the other Italian restaurant in New York.They also have great and creative cocktails!!!Portions were excellent and the staff is all very careful with all the COVID restrictions you will feel safe dining here.Great staff, great food, great atmosphere...it doesn't get any better! Outstanding!Highly recommend this restaurant.

Just ordered from this place and im so blown away! I ordered the flat iron steak with roasted potatoes and it was cooked absolutely perfect. You never know with ordering steak a lot of places mess it up but whoever made mine did an amazing job. Thanks a lot for a great dinner, I can't wait to try other dishes!

From the moment my boyfriend and I walked in we were greeted with a genuine welcoming from both the husband and wife. Even though there wasn’t supposed to be table order service, we were still waited on before we had to get up! The food was phenomenal, from the tuna ceviche special which was some of the best tuna I have had ever, to the pasta which had an amazing homemade sauce you will never find any place else. We were constantly attended to and never went without a drink or a friendly stop to see how we were doing. This place definitely does not get as much recognition as it should so if you are in the area, this is a must visit!! We will definitely be going there again, and supporting a small family business warms my heart because they definitely deserve it!!!

If I could give 6 stars I would. I had a truly amazing experience here. My friends and I came here without much knowledge of restaurants in Brooklyn and this restaurant did not disappoint. The setting of the restaurant is very comfortable. It’s spacious with ambient lighting and a very homey feel to it. The workers were extremely polite and fun to chat with. I’m unsure of who served us today, but our waitress was the best waitress I’ve ever had in my life. She was very pleasant to talk to and joke around with. She even gave us a tiramisu on her :,).The food was delicious and the bathrooms were clean. I highlyyyy recommend this place!!!

Consistently delicious, reasonable portion/price ratio, and a very warm and friendly staff. The name and the decor don’t quite match the coziness that the food and staff evoke. A lovely dining experience every time. The Norma eggplant red sauce pasta is legit. Shout out to Candice for the good vibes!

Diamond in the rough! Outside of the building looks a little worse for wear, but once you go inside, it is as though it has been transformed. Excellent service, oh, so friendly folks, and the food is phenomenal. The quality of the food rivals many very expensive restaurants I've eaten in. Portions are generous, wine pours are too, and the staff is knowledgeable, accommodating, and responsive. Who can ask for any more?

Best restaurant & conveniently located on the bed stuy / bushwick border steps from JMZ train. Gamberi E Pistachio is my all time favorite but love the chicken sandwich in the afternoon. Francesco and his wife, Candace, are the friendliest and most gracious owners. Espresso martini - not on the menu- will knock you off your socks. Speck & Scamorza is more way more fun that a typical charcuterie app. Great music, great people.

I had such a good time at Concrete. The service was amazing, the vibe was perfect, the drinks tasty, and the food.. the food was EVERYTHING!! I had a Moscow Mule which was great, for appetizer I had calamari and bruchesta they were both so good and for my entrée I had the Ragu which was phenomenal. I will definitely be back and would recommend any and everyone to go here!

Soso food but this spot may have the BEST, most friendly service of any restaurant in Brooklyn. Seriously- the staff were amazing! The space is fun overall and a great vibe. The food was honestly underwhelming tbh (I really wanted to like it!) the ragu was pretty simple/bland and the vegetarian Norma pasta was decent but the sauce was thin and the eggplant was a bit chewy. It was serviced with pretty cheap “ricotta” that looked more like a Parmesan sprinkle and had little flavor.

Delicious food and charming service. Vegetarian Ragu, Pecorino and pepper pasta, and tiramisu were spot on. The inside of the restaurant was such a delight and quiet enough to have a nice conversation. Highly recommend.
