Cowbell Burger & Whiskey Bar

Front staff was VERY nice, on a very busy evening. Service was great. The food came out fast even though the restaurant was totally packed. The burger was 10/10 and the Old Fashioned was 11/10. Awesome all around!

Went here for my birthday last night and let me tell you this is my new favorite burger joint in CLT! Everyone wished me a happy birthday, they even played a birthday song for me. Joseph was our server and not 1 of the 8 people in my group had a complaint! The ultimate cheeseburger is absolutely amazing and the drinks were good!! This place is a must try

I don’t understand why anyone opens a restaurant to serve mediocre food and drinks at best. Sliders were over cooked. Onion rings were so greasy. Great location. No one asked how the food was. Wasted a meal here.

Eaten here twice and without a doubt, the best hamburger I’ve ever had and their Parmesan fries are the bomb! Great atmosphere and alcohol selection! Staff is very professional and on the ball! I’d give it more stars if I could!

Delicious burger, great service. It wasn’t busy when we stopped in, so we were seated and served immediately and got our food super fast. Not sure what it’ll be like when busy, but based on our experience we’d definitely come back. Our server Kyla was fantastic! My vegan fiance got the impossible burger & plain fries, I got the Ultimate Burger it was delicious and super filling. Get the Cheerwine Ale if they have it!

What an amazing spot! Food is amazing and decor is so fun. The staff is also great! We got some burgers and all of us loved it. My pick was the Melt, to which I added an egg to it and it was beyond delicious, they had ran out of sourdough bread, but it was an amazing burger nonetheless with the brioche bun. Highly recommend this spot!

No complaints vegan burger was great and so were the sweet potato puffs!!! Only option was the late night menu for the time we came in. My friend ordered a desert and we got 3 luna shots... the total was $80+ i was confused but still no complaints

Decent hangout spot. Music videos accompany the actual.music playing..Got in 30 minutes before closing and still received EXCEPTIONAL service despite a packed house.Definitely recommended for a night on the town.

Ordered the breakfast burger and fries. Burger came on a pretzel bun that was really good quality, all the flavors of the burger melded well. Fries were a pleasant surprise! Highly recommend!

I had the Bruiser Burger and the salad as my side. They're lemon dressing for the salad was phenomenal. As far as the burger, nothing special at all. Service was good. Atmosphere, needs a little bit of work. If you're going to Bill yourself as a whiskey bar it should be geared towards that. I didn't know what the hell this place was, rock and roll bar, Sports bar, kind of like a lost pup. But it was okay.

Great burgers and appetizers. I was there with 12 friends, and they all enjoyed their meal. Unique and fun ambience. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Background music may be loud for some.

All of their food is absolutely amazing and the bartender was quick and diligent! 1000000/10 would recommend. Went around lunchtime during the week and wasn’t busy.

Cool atmosphere and vibes. Wife had the melt which was awesome, I had a regular smash burger and it was so smothered in mayo that it fell apart in my hands and I couldn’t finish it. Bit of a mess. Again, the melt was awesome.UPDATE: Changing my review to five stars after the restaurants kind reply to my burger issue.

This place is ok. A bit gimmicky... If you're into pairing a low-end Macallan with a run-of-the-mill burger (food wasn't bad, but nothing special), than this your place. The service and staff was great.

Visiting from Chicago. My daughter just moved to Charlotte. Took my whole family there. Prices are moderate. Drinks were great! Food was great! The burgers are to die for!

It was our first time. Nice vibe here. We got the Ultimate Chzburger with parmesan fries and The Bluto with onion rings. They were all delicious except the fries. Seems they were just regular fries with parmesan sprinkled. Dipped them in onion ring sauce to truly enjoy them. Overall though, it was a great dining experience! We were so hingry that we forgot to take pics. We will be back!

Wow, this was incredible. The beer was very good and the food was even better. I generally don't go to the same place twice when im traveling, but this is a strong contender for that. The ultimate cheeseburger was phenomenal. Juicy, flavorful, a masterfully cooked burger. And every bit of sauce that came out I dipped my fries in. They had a couple of people call out, so they were a bit understaffed, but they were doing their best to make sure no one noticed.

Truly unique experience. The bruiser burger was next level, very well balanced flavors. The bread pudding reminded me of July barbecue at grandparents house. It was a wonderful experience.

If you’re Uptown CLT and don’t stop by cowbell you’re an idiot. These burgers are fire and the service can’t be topped. Raven, Mo, and especially my girl Stacy talking me off the smash burger ledge is un compromised. 100% will be back. Let’s get stupid. ??

Slow service. We walked in, sat down, and were served ice waters. Great so far, except we looked around and noticed NOBODY had food on the table. We grew impatient and finally walked next door to the Capital Grille where we received some of the best service we have ever experienced.The menu at Cowbell looks great, but not sure I’d walk in again. Quality of service is part of what I pay for in a meal.

We went on a Saturday late afternoon and there was a convention in town. The place was packed, but we got seated quickly. Staff was very nice and attentive until it was time to pay. Took a bit longer to get the check, but it was very busy. Drinks were amazing- cucumber mule and berry mule. We got the Big Bell which was delicious and The Bluto, that was good. The atmosphere was fun.

Nice ambiance with excellent and attentive service. The Ultimate Chzburger was mouthwatering and delicious. The Moscow Mules were refreshing and mixed perfectly. I will definitely return whenever I'm in Charlotte.

Amazing environment with great food. I personally had the Bluto Chicken sandwich and it was on point and ends these silly chicken sandwich wars. My cohort had burgers that made me doubt my choice. And the music playing made it a great evening. To add insult to injury, it was an amazing beer selection. Go give these fine folk your money.
