This is my favorite restaurant of all time you should definitely go hear to eat they have amazing food trust me! ,and I love the service it’s the best the staff is so so sweet they are the best, and the atmosphere is amazing the train is so old fashion and I love that part I love everything old about stuff but back to the food the food is so good this place is 100 stars ⭐️ I mean it!.

The best chilli cheese fries on Earth. The boss seems eternally grouchy, but maybe that's the charm(?)Been going since it opened and will always keep it in rotation.

If you're in the mood for some fast food and don't mind indulging in some guilty pleasures, you should definitely check out Carney's Restaurant. Their chili dog and cheeseburger are particularly delicious, and I can't get enough of their spicy ranch sauce - it's my new addiction!

Food is sooo good. If you're looking for a hot dog which isn't on most menu's make it the way you like it. Add chili, mustard, pickles, tomato etc.

It's okay, The wife got a chili cheese dog that was actually really good and actually has the snap when biting into it. (highly recommended) but to get a burger with the Angus you have to buy a half pounder and it's just a big mess. Maybe it's just me but it's way too much food and the bun can't handle it, halfway through it just falls apart.I wish I could get a smaller burger with the Angus and then this place would be almost perfect.

🌟WOW!! It's been a few years since I had been there, even better than I remembered! My mom & I were battling traffic on the 101, and I asked if she was in the mood for a chili dog? She said "Do they have fries?" I said "Yes, really good skinny fries"Every bite she took, she said "Oh my God! This is soooooo good! "I think this is my new FAVORITE place" and I absolutely agree! The chili dogs and fries were amazing! Absolutely perfect👍

Coming here first the first time was an amazing experience. Never ate on an actual train before. My family really enjoyed the food and experience. Also, thank you to the employees and were bilingual made me feel welcomed

My first time here but the creativity of using a train as a restaurant captivated me more, when you have small children this is unbelievably beautiful...the food is fresh and delicious, the banana shake you must try is the best, friendly staff, clean and not very expensive.

Carney’s has to be the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. This places burgers are absolutely incredible and the chili is great too. I really liked the train car that you could eat in.

Everything is delicious! Not only is the food delicious, but the experience of sitting in a train car, that’s a bit of history, is thrilling! My 5 year-old daughter loves this place and wants to visit over and over.I love it too.Thank you for keeping this gem in business ! See you next time ❤️

Climb aboard John and Pat Wolfe's Union Pacific dining car, parked at it's Ventura Boulevard station, and experience some of the best dogs or burgers you've had in a very long time.Pulitzer-prize-winning, LA restaurant critic Jonathan Gold's "List of 99 Essential Los Angeles Eateries" praises CARNEY'S RESTAURANTSince 1981, their Studio City dining car menu has included all beef hot dogs, burgers, and french fries, as well as, in recent years, vegan and turkey burgers, salads, and chill. Gluten-free hamburger and hot dogs buns are available. (If you're a celiac patient, ask them to clean the grill.) The serving of French fries, cooked to order in gluten free oil, is generous. (I ask for extra crisp.) No onion rings or other fried vegetables are available.The staff is efficient but not talkative.Prices are moderate and the proportions are large.Napkins are replaced with paper towels from dispensers located at either end of the dining car.Be sure to pump ketchup from the self-serve dispenser. (Paper and plastic dipping cups are located to the left of the dispenser.)I ordered a vegan, well-done, Hungry Planet Burger, which came loaded with lettuce, tomato, chopped onions, ketchup, and pickle slices. It is huge and surprisingly good. The large order of well-done, unsalted fries is enough for two or three. (Packets of salt are offered.)Since this is a real train car and caboose, to enter, there are many stairs to climb. They added a fairly steep ramp for wheelchair accessibility. The multi-level patio is not wheelchair accessible.Seating is available both inside the car and on the multi-level patio. However, you order and pick up your meal, from the counter, inside the car.Because Carney's is popular, and the order taking is one customer at a time, expect a delay. If you're with a party have someone look for an empty table. The "passengers" fill the tables inside, but the umbrella protected patio is generally available.GrubHub deliveries are available.Parking is wheelchair accessible and free. The bathrooms, located in the attached caboose, are ADA accessible. All aboard!
