Maple and Motor is the BEST burger spot in Dallas. I come several times a month and it always hits the spot. The owner is always here and greets us, food is served quickly and is hot, and the atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. Not to mention, the BEST sweet tea!!!

We drove down from Frisco because in February they are donating a portion of sales to Good Shepherd Rescue - a group near and dear to our hearts as that is where we got our fur baby. Needless to say we will be coming back often even after February.Really enjoyed our lunch here. We were greeted by owner as we walked in and he was super friendly. It’s a great small atmosphere with interesting decor and vibe. I thought I might leave smelling like a burger but their ventilation is great.Burger was excellent. I got the cheese tots with jalapenos and bacon and definitely the star of the dish. Great portion sizes, reasonable prices for what you are getting. Definitely recommend this place and we will be returning.Sorry forgot to take photos before I started digging in. I was starving lol

Wow do they pump out the burgers. There was a constant line of people the entire time that we were there. They have just enough tables to make it work since the owner and staff are quick to clear tables of empty baskets, etc. as soon as they are empty. If you come during lunch, don't plan on hanging out after you have finished. The place is full and the owner is good at politely letting you know that your table is needed.Hand formed, thick hamburger patties cooked to order, with plenty of lettuce, onions, and tomatoes to make a big handful of burger to eat. The fries are OK, but the beer batter onion rings are wonderful. Flavors of fountain drinks that you have never heard of all sweetened with real cane sugar. (I was surprised, you really can taste the difference.)

Best Burger in Dallas right here. Not the current trend of “craft burgers”, just the best old school/classic burger you can get in Dallas. Fresh ingredients, perfectly fried sides. Just a can’t miss every visit. Big Red on tap is just icing on the cake.

Lived here in Dallas for 13 years and still hadn't made the trip to Maple & Motor. I like how it's no frills, simple menu. You get what you get. Not 19 different artisan burgers on the menu. Patty was cooked perfectly, one of the best burger buns I've ever had. Flavor was great!I didn't like that they have a bar top, but nobody to attend bar. You have to order everything at the register, the bartop is more or less an area to sit. If you have a bartop with drafts displayed, utilize the service.Ordered cheese fries and they came with julienned Jalapeños and carrots which was totally weird and didn't work. I picked them off.The burger though, for what it was, just a straight forward no frills burger, was fantastic.

There is a line but it goes super fast. Food came out fast. I got the cheese burger, tater tots with bacon,cheese and jalapeños. And the milk shake. Your first bite....SPECTACULAR! The bun is fresh and soft and toasted perfectly. BEST tater tots I have ever had. The milkshake, perfect amount of sweetness and house made. You can tell the employees really love their job. The owner cares about his amazing team and customers. The owner was helping clean tables, take orders, deliver food. He is what every owner should strive to be. The food is worth EVERY DIME. The food is so filling!!!!I will be back. Don't walk run here!!!!!

After touring the US in search of the Worlds Greatest Cheese Burger (IN MY humble OPINION) Maple & Motor, Dallas is in my top 2. Fantastic flavor & cooked to perfction. Plus their fries are the best anywhere. This is a must stop location anytime you are in Dallas.

Burger can be cooked "pink" or "no pink". Great pink burgers if that's your style- delicious and not lean. Onion rings battered, greasy, good. Great peppery fries . Selection of Maine Root sodas. Menu is limited but features good grilled cheese for non-burger eaters- don't know/think that's prepared strictly vegetarian.

1st time visiting and the place did not disappoint. Kind of a hole in the wall looking establishment, but man... the food was DELICIOUS. I had the burger with bacon and tots, Mexican Coke on the side. Burger was cooked perfectly and tots were crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside (not greasy at all). The staff was very helpful and kind. Would DEFINITELY come back (soon)!

Great tasting, juicy burgers! Fries are good nothing special, onion rings had an old cooking oil flavor but are a decent serving. The "Home made recipe milkshake" is overall ok. Its like a cross between ready to make icecream and added flavoring, to somewhat give it a made from scratch taste. I saw that this burger was ranked as one of the best in the county, so I had to try it. I got the burger cooked "pink" with all the toppings except mustard. It was a large, juicy burger that tasted very fresh. The toppings were flavorful and added a nice touch, but overall I found it good but not great. For comparison, I prefer the burgers at All American in NY. Nonetheless, this burger is definitely worth trying, and I can see why it has a reputation as one of the best in the county. We also got the tots with cheese and jalapenos, and a side of ranch, which was very tasty. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere that's perfect for a quick meal, and is suitable for families with young children.

Pretty pedestrian burger. Pretty dry and flavourless. I'd recommend Sky Rocket Burger, Burger House, or even Five Guys before this place just to name a few, but honestly, most burgers would be better. Service was okay; kind of rude. The atmosphere was loud with a long line. I'm not really sure what the draw is.

The best burger I've had! I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and grilled jalapeños. The beef to bread ratio was perfect, and the patty was cooked just right. I've never had a burger that could pull off being a single patty without having too much bread, but this one did. The beef was flavorful, and the toppings were as well. I also really loved the fries. I usually eat my burger and fries with ranch, but the burger and fries were so good, it honestly didn't need the ranch.The milkshake was good too.

I got the Fried Baloney Sandwich and it was the best sandwhich I’ve ever had! ? The Tater Tots with carrots and jalapeños and Beer-battered Onion Rings were tasty. High quality food and friendly staff!

Pretty good . That bacon should be packaged and sold in store just the way you prepare it. But the price is a bit overboard . It's a bit too costly for that taste .it should be about 9 -9.95 according to the taste. Ijs

HOLDUP! OMG, I have been here many many times since my 1st review 6 yrs ago!Today, 1-1-22, I had the fried Baloney sandwich, to which I had M&M add onions & grilled Jalepenos. It was so f'ing good! Messy but good burger and fries. They use shredded lettuce and it does fall apart and gets everywhere. Make sure to add one fried egg and it makes all the differences

50 years ago, I had a burger at In-N-Out on Suset Blvd. The best burger in the world. Big, juicy, and sloppy. Then, by the time it moved to Texas, it had become a corporate burger. The Motor & Maple burger recreates the experience of that long ago lost burger. The best burger in the world. Motor & Maple, please don't ever go corporate.

Great food, fast service, friendly staff. What more could you ask for?!?!?! Tots perfectly crisp, onion rings where the batter stays on the ring... Just right. Good size burger that was the right amount of grease to meat ratio. If you're in Dallas you should be eating here.

First, let me say the food is not bad. The burger and veggies were fresh and cooked while we waited. Overall, I rated 3 stars because the price is rather high so I expected more. The meat in the burger lacked flavor. I was really just tasting the bacon. (which was cooked crispy as I like it) The burger meat was somewhat bland. I can think of a few other places where you pay literally half the price for a more flavorful burger. The fries were decent but again lacked in the same area. Again, I am not saying it is bad. They are obviously better than your local franchises but for the price point they did not impress as I expected.

The sign as you enter about the kids was a little rude. No parent walks into a restaurant wanting to enjoy a good meal and be reminded that, yeah, parenting is hard and sometimes the kids are a little loud, but we’re always doing our best to make sure other patrons have a good dining experience. Average burgers, quite greasy.

Top 5 DFW burger place. It's busy but it's because it's a great burger. Do yourself a favor and try it out. It's a bit pricey for everyday visits but definitely worth the money you pay!

Great little atmosphere and the Flat Top Brisket sandwich with Tots and Blueberry Soda. UPDATE - May be my own opinion bt 1 year later and its still the BEST place close to downtown Dallas to get a brisket sandwich.

Was pleased that staff were masked but way too many diners inside so we ate in the car. Great big tasty burger! Tots were a bit bland but big portion and ketchup helped. Onion rings were okay.

The wife, kids and I are from Oklahoma. This is our go to place for burgers when we come to Dallas to visit family. It's a no frills cozy environment. The staff is always upbeat and attentive. Delicious made to order burgers and sides.
