The Food Box

Well... Facebook knows I'm a foodie. I got sent a discount for The Food Box. My boyfriend and I never had been there before so why not. It puts a Mexican twist on hamburgers. The combination comes out delicious.I got the Spurgeon Infit Burger (100% natural Angus ground brisket beef, marinated with Pequin pepper and olive oil, guacamole with cilantro and lemon, grilled regional panela cheese, spinach, tomato, chipotle mayo sriracha mayo, and chicharron in green sauce from Carniceria la Ramos, a local butcher shop in Monterrey, Mexico) with a side of fries. My boyfriend got the Billy Cheese (double smashed patties with 2 slices of Cheddar gratinated cheese, tfb secret dressing, pickles and crunchy bacon) with a side of fries. For dessert we got the Churro bowl (Deep-fried dough sprinkled with sugar and topped with ice cream, caramel sauce, and nuts). Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm

Super bomb burgers, the chicken sandwich is also killer. The buns are legit toasty brioche they don't get soggy quickly they are perfect, Soggy buns are a definite burger destroyer you don't have to worry about that here. Plus they have a 9.99$ burger deal Monday and Thursday. It wasn't crowded when i was there but who knows I imagine it will grow in popularity glad to get a great burger place in PB.

Went for a date night and absolutely loved the food and service! Food was so flavorful and service was great! I also love that there were games to play while we wait!

The King James, the Spurgeon and truffle fries are delicious! Highly recommended, if you like a delicious burger that does NOT make you feel bloated after.

Burgers here are probably some of the best you'll ever try. I'm just working on trying all of them on the menu to see which one I like the best. So far, all of theh have been amazing. Onion rings and Parmesan fries are so good too

My family and I had one of our best experiences ever at a restaurant. We got a couple of burgers (Billy Cheese)and a chicken sandwich (MacArthur), and the food was delicious. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The service was a great experience. The dude that helped us take our order was so cool and made us feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend this place, we'll be back next time we visit PB

Wow great place!Place) The restaurant has good decorations and awesome vibesService) excellent service! All staff was friendly and care if everything was ok with the food.The food) I tried the Spurgeon Burguer it comes with chicharrón en samlsa verde, the mix of flavors it's genius! Pretty well made and the fries also were great seasoned and not oily.Definitely I recommend this place!!!

I ordered the Calvin burger with regular fries. This burger is up there as one of the best burgers I've had. The food all tasted so fresh. The employees were super friendly too.

If I lived in San Diego I would come more than once a week. Our food was delicious!! I had the hot bbq chicken tenders and onion rings. PERFECT - breading on the chicken is light and crispy yet chicken is so juicy and onion rings were amazing!!! And the truffled fries.. YUM! This place needs to be added to your restaurant list

Delicious. The burger is cooked to medium which makes it juicier. You can also tell it's quality meat. The different toppings are great. Don't hesitate going there.

I am absolutely amazed by this place. I usually don’t eat burgers but my gosh this had my mind blown! Staff is super friendly and really helpful with the choices. The crunch on the chicken is to die for! 10/10 will be coming back again and bringing friends and family!

I will say their hamburgers are good...probably the best around...my young son had the chicken fingers and thought they were pretty good. Service was good and friendly. As with most fast food nowadays...a little expensive.$36.

I always grab large orders from this place for the coworkers and myself. We like the food variety and taste. Truffle fries, the house sauce, churro bowl, MacArthur and trying every burger here is currently my favorite.
