Burger City

We have driven past this place a thousand times but never stopped in. We recently started working close by so decided to give it a try!!!Sooooo happy we did! It’s truly hard to find a really good burger. THIS IS THE PLACE!!!Also love the fries and onion rings!We have been there 3 times in the past two weeks lol!Will try a shake next time!Service is great too!

Hands down the best burgers in the area (dare I say the borough?). The restaurant is cozy, retro, and very clean. The service is friendly and great, the food phenomenal, and the prices unbeatable. Highly recommend a stop here if you are in the area!

Excellent burger and good customer service. It's hard to find a good burger below $10 in NYC, but here you get a burger, fries, and a soda for $9.95!They have some solid shakes here as well! Will be taking my daughter back another day so she can give us a rating for the fish and chips as well.

The quarter pounder I ordered had good flavor and I also had them add bacon which I enjoy. The onion rings had a little kickand were crispy. They were probably the best part of my meal. I also got a chocolate shake which was ok. All in all not a bad meal. I left feeling full for a total price of $18.

Stop by on my lunch break and had Quarter Pounder cheeseburger with fries, onion rings and with a black and white milkshake. All of the above tasted really good burger was nice and freshly cooked

I got their spicy chicken sandwich (w/ bacon), fries, and a hot dog with everything. I also got a plain hot dog for my mother. We both agreed that this was some of the best food we ever had. Chicken sandwich was quite exceptional - the chicken is like a schnitzel with hot sauce and pickles to top it off. The hot dogs are Hebrew National, top quality frankfurter that sit well in your belly. Finally, the fries are extra crispy and good filler food. Definitely five stars.

The burgers here are delicious. The staff has been great to interact with both over the phone and in person. They definitely pride themselves on being on time and making sure the wait time for customers is low when possible. Great place to grab a bite if you want a nice burger on a workday.

Love coming here when I'm in ridgewood. I usually get cheese burgers, they remind me of white castles but WAY better. I honestly come in most for an order of cheese fries, they come in a large box you can split between 2 people. I like to ask for the cheese on the side because I've had a situation where the cheese container exploded in the box. But yeah, this place is great to get a quick bite. This is honestly the only good burger place in Ridgewood. Would i come back? Always. Worth the money? Yes.

Solid burger spot but a little expensive for what it is. 5 guys style well-done flat burgers. They come with ketchup onions and pickles, there are no options such as lettuce and tomato. Amazing fries. Not a great place for dining in, just a few counter seats.

Great tasting burgers with delicious cajon fries ? awesome! But the chicken sandwich needs much improvement. Overcooked and the Burger bun they put it on don't go with it. Maybe try a roll bred. Owner or manager seems to be focused on the workers and it looks like they don’t have a good work relationship like maybe he’s fixated on weird stuff like phone use. I thought the workers weee great but felt this weird energy when the dude was around like it wasn’t fun to be there. Hope it can be fixed.

When you enter this joint, there’s gonna be a big sign that says “FRESH BURGERS”…Yes they’re fresh. Crazy fresh. The fries are crispy. Service is fast and the staff is cool, plus the place is clean. Great joint imo.

Bring your own lettuce and tomato to this joint!!!I stopped at burger city for their $10 burger fries and drink.For reasons they couldn’t explain to me, lettuce and tomato are not an option for your burger.$10 will get you a tiny burger on a cheap bun. With fries and a drink.

Food at Burger City is delicious. Onion rings are to die for. Unfortunately the burgers are too small. I ordered quarter pounder thinking it will be bigger. I was super hungry and felt like eating an appetizer. It's a great place to get a snack between meals. However, I won't be back with an empty stomach. I'd rather pay a little more and get a decent size burger somewhere else.

I ordered fish w/cheese sandwich , onion rings with their own brand of sauce and ice tea to go . There was a bit of a wait but I appreciated that my order was being cooked fresh for me . Service was okay but I felt the order taker could have been a little friendlier. Overall it was alright .

We really enjoyed the burgers, fries, and shakes! Burgers use fresh, thin patties and it reminds me of other great burger joints like in n' out burger, etc. We will definitely go again!

Great burgers and fries! Always cooked fresh when you order. They even have a window that allows you to see your burger being cooked. If you order fries, when they put them in the bag they always throw some extra in the bag loose so it's like getting two orders of fries for the price of one. Go here once and you'll never eat another fast food burger.
