Happy's Hamburgers

What a gem! We were looking for a place to grab a burger and found this place. The burgers were awesome. And the Onion Rings were great. We will definitely be back! Erika was lovely too.

Very nicely heated, soft bun. Kind of small. Smash type burger that was nice and crispy but under seasoned. Great cheese, condiments on the side and in a lined plastic basket. Not a fan of the basket. $10 onion rings….. There were eight of them… They had no flavor. Wait staff was super friendly but having someone wait on us was kind of weird because they had a counter and it comes off like In and Out. I may try again.

In search of the best burger brought us to Happy’s today and it did not disappoint!! We are picky burger eaters and this was delicious!! The meat to bun ratio was spot on!! Fresh ingredients and soft bread! The onion rings were great and the Chili Cheese Fries were the best I have had in years! Service was friendly and fast and we will definitely be back soon! Probably next weekend!!

Its a little hidden being in the strip mall on Shea and Scottsdale Rd. From past experiences, small little burger shops normally have the best food and Ibwas correct. The burger patty was juicy and good! Well seasoned! The fries were nice, seasoned and hot. I had to eat half of the burger later. I had the burger that had bacon on it. The service was awesome. Fast and friendly. You can eat there or take it to go.

Incredible burgers. And generous portions on the sides. Definitely order the dipping sauces. The Jalepeno Kicker sauce was amazing. Staff was very friendly!

One of the best hamburgers I’ve had, definitely in the top 3.Great diner, American vibe, simple, clean (A score), quick and oh-boy those burgers are a sooo good. Fries and chips are home made, onion rings are not oily and home made.Erica was super nice and handled the front by her own. Will definitely come back soon.Thank you!

Interior is gloomy and cold. The server was alright. The burger i had was the signature triple with an egg on top. It was good but seriously lacking seasonings. I had to drench it in catsup to get a little flavor. I could taste the grease more than anything. Just overkill on the grease. Its everywhere. But I'm sure their other stuff is good.

Came from PHX for my son's football game at Chaparral, stopped in here for a burger, my son Rocky got the breakfast burger and I got a double, food was great and the coney fries awesome. The girl behind the counter was a Champ, she took multiple orders, checked on us, communicated with everyone that walked in, and it was BUSY! Finally a delicious pizza burger with pepperoni!!! It was amazing. I felt adventurous so I had them add some jalapenos cuz I love pepperoni jalapeno pizza... And you know what? It was awesome!!

I’m a regular at Happy’s after “discovering” it one day with my daughter looking for a local burger joint. My daughter absolutely adores Erica who treats her like a sister. The food is very good and the 50’s theme decor is really cool.

A most excellent cheeseburger especially for the price. I enjoyed a double cheeseburger with grilled onions, a basket of crispy fries and a Coke that she kept refilled. Excellent service! Excellent meal! Excellent atmosphere! I had a big screen tv right in front of me where I enjoyed the football game as I had lunch. Love this place. You will too. Highly recommended!

Top 5 favorite hamburger and we have had a LOT of burgers. Nothing fancy, 50's diner but was very clean and very cute. Our waitress Kelly only added to the experience. She was so friendly and efficient. Try it you won't be disappointed! Onion rings were delicious too.

Delicious old fashioned hamburgers that aren’t too greasy but are very satisfying. You can put almost anything on them, pickles an egg, mushrooms or bacon etc. Fried potato chips were SO good. We’ll be back 100% glad we gave this little oldies diner a chance.

Took forever to be acknowledged, friendly staff, did overhear customer telling waitress about a hair in two burgers, had a double cheeseburger, onion rings and a shake to go $17 honestly skip this place, not worth the money at all.

Came in from out of town and wish I had a place like this back in Houston. Ended up here after everywhere else had an hour wait and honestly I'm so glad. Burgers were incredible, fries were incredible, onion rings were incredible. Kelly gave the best customer service too. Next time I'm in AZ, I'll be back. This place does it right.

Was craving a burger and decided to try this one near me. I ordered takeout and the food was ready quick. The service was really quick and competent. The fries portion is sizable and enough to satisfy anyone. The double cheeseburger I order was delicious. I appreciated the options to customizr some stuff. I also tried one of the sauces, the Chipotle one. It did not disappoint in the heat department. Will be coming back and hopefully bringing a friend!

forgot to take a picture before i devoured it. if you like spicy, ask for the UnHappy sauce!! i ate most of my food before i overheard the waitress talking to another table about the special sauces like Happy and Unhappy sauce. I ordered the AZ burger that comes with cheese, bacon, and onion rings on it with a side of tots. Excellent food! Friendly Service!

Great burger! Check out the daily special it’s a great deal for a half pound burger. Big portions and good prices! Nice people behind the counter too! They were out of shake mix when I was there my only complaint. Still great and worth checking out!

This is HANDS DOWN, the absolute best burger joint in the larger Valley area. I've been going there for about 2 years now and it legitimately ruined all other burgers for me (and for good reason). The burgers? Amazing. Onion rings? Amazing. Fries? Amazing. SPICES? Because yes, they have their own sauces and spice blends and YES, they're amazing. Please go to Happy's and have yourself a Happy burger experience. Seriously.

I absolutely love HAPPY’S. They always have great service and delicious food. If you’re a hamburger person, it’s great. If you’re not a hamburger person, try one here. Been to Happy’s about 10 times, and nothing is short of perfect. The wait time for food is quick. The hostess/server is friendly, courteous and quick. The atmosphere is like a 50’s era, so it’s a nice calm place to take your family. It’s a hidden gem. I want to share the location with everyone I know, but I want to keep the place hidden for myself. Highly guarantee you’ll be happy, full and come back for more!

Amazing burgers, bomb shakes, best tots this side of the Mississippi. Their sauces are a must try and go great with their fries/onion rings/tots/etc...Erica is one if my favorite waitresses of all time. Super friendly and funny. We'll call just to see if she's working and change our dinner plans to go then.Great music too, always fun with a crowd.

Came to Scottsdale for work and was trying to find a good place to eat and man did we find it. This place has the best burgers I've ever had as well as great service. The waitress was extremely nice, the restaurant was very clean and well kept, and the food came quickly and hot. But one thing that really set it off right was the "unhappy" sauce. I'll be back as many times as I can to try all the menu!
