I never write negative reviews. I chose to eat here bc of the reviews. So thought i share.Food was fine but I got sick. I didn't like the vodka pizza it tasted like the plain pizza honestly. My drink that was $20 was watery and terrible.the service was non existent. I had my reservation for the wrong day and they said we could only sit at the bar which is fine that was my fault. But the tables were empty until closing. The hostess said she'd cancel my reservation so I didn't get charged $75. Guess what. She didn't! So that was the icing on top.I won't be back.

Really wanted to love this place as it was recommended (armcherry 🙋🏻♀️) as having the best burger. The meat patty was of good quality beef but I was not as impressed with the overall taste. I was expecting more for a $30+ burger. Fries were perfect, nice and crispy. The classic pizza was good but I also wasn't wowed. This is probably just personal preference but I prefer Razza for their pizza and 7th Street for their burgers. The tables were also too cramped together and you can hear everyone's conversations.

Came here for dinner and drinks with some friends. It has a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent service. However, I’d say the food we got was just solid. Good, not great, and not worth the premium price we paid.We got calamari to share, one pizza each (Classic, Emily, Vivrant Thing), and a drink. The pizzas were certainly above average, but you can definitely find better and cheaper elsewhere. The red pizzas were much better than the white in my opinion as well. After reading the reviews here it seems like the burgers are actually more popular than the pizzas which is weird because I thought this was mainly a pizza place. If you’re going to visit for the first time, I’d say try the burger instead. That’s what I’ll be doing next time I visit.

Great vibe, excellent beers and the BEST burger I ever had. And I ate them all around the world. From the bun to the sauce, from the chips to the ketchup. Everything fell into place. Texture, the balance of flavour, and quantities were spot on so it was the doneness of the meat

Too good to be true...I was on a date. Everything was fine until we entered this restaurant... Because then it got even better! And the date turned into a delicious date. The staff is very smiling and friendly. Emmy burger is worth eating it for the rest of your life. Thanks to the chef and all the staff for a wonderful dinner!

Emily's is all that everyone says. Is the Emmy Burger the best I have ever had? No, I still think I will give that award to Black Iron Burger, but this is like comparing a Ferrari to a Lamborghini, sometimes it comes down to personal preference. Let's start with our appetizer which was the Quinn Pizza. It is a six slice white pie consisting of four cheeses, mozzarella, havarti, pecorni, and ricotta cheese. It came out smoking hot, perfectly well done with a bottom charred to perfection. The pie was slightly salty (perfectly salted), creamy and full of flavor. For those ordering the burger, you might want to skip appetizers as the burger is large and smothered with caramelized onions and Grafton cheddar cheese. I especially love the pretzel bun as the juices are absorbed and not lost. More importantly, the bun does not fall apart as the typical seeded roll would. The onions are amazing and have flavors that are developed in the caramelization process. The server did not know what was added to the onions, but there was a distinct savory flavor that was not the typical additives (balsamic vinegar/wine/sugar). So, why was this burger ranked slightly below Black Iron Burger. It is just opinion. I find that you are able to taste the meat in Black Iron a little more easily, and trying to compare apples to apples, I had both on pretzel buns and it seemed as if the burger itself was slightly juicier in Black Iron. This is almost ridiculous to say as I am trying to separate the creaminess and silkiness of the onions from the burger and it really is impossible. Also, my taste buds on Monday could be different than Tuesday. Would you rather drive a Ferrari or a Lamborghini? We sat outside and the server was attentive and the service was excellent for outdoor dining. Our neighbors at the other table had the Hot Wings and the Roasted Beet Salad and both came out fresh and vibrant. The wings were smoking and they both said that both dishes were delicious. Unfortunately, after a pizza and three burgers, we were all stuffed and could not sample any of the other menu items. How would I rate the burger? I would be an idiot to say it wasn't delicious. It is delicious and one of the best you can ever have.

Absolutely love their pizza, and arguable the best burger in Brooklyn! I love how unassuming the space is yet it is homey and welcoming and perfect for dinner with friends.

I’m ashamed I spend so much money on the food but dang, This place is consistently good. You must indulge. The burger is a banger but every hot girl loves a ceaser salad, fries, and aperol spritz and this place does it the best every time. 10/10

Quaint little restaurant serving delicious burgers. The burger patty was topped with greasy gravy but it all came to together perfectly.

Enjoyed a lovely meal at Emily last night. The Emmy burger is well worth the trip, but the chicken karaage was also delicious. The hostess was not very friendly which was mildly off-putting. We were also told that as we were a group of 5 we would automatically have a 20% tip added to our bill. However all 5 of us were squeezed onto a table for 4. For a 20% tip, it would’ve been nice to be given a more comfortable table.

The famous burger was definitely good but overhyped. Not worth $31. DO NOT add the bacon. It was unbelievably salty and overpowered the whole thing. The fries were great though.

I’ve been coming here for years, and would guess I’ve been here 25+ times total. It’s my absolute favorite burger & pizza in the city. Until you’ve eaten at this location, you haven’t had their best burger, considering the other locations have a diff style of burger, this is the pinnacle of burgers! Also the pies are so delicious, I’m partial to the Emmy & colony but I’ve tried just about every one of them and they’re all enjoyable. Also, the Korean wings were my personal favorite as well but they took them off the menu last year I believe, but now the same sauce is on chicken fingers (basically) and they’re still incredible. I’m so happy & thankful they’re back! The broccoli salad and watermelon salads are a nice add on since the more substantial dishes tend to be rich, but let’s me honest, you don’t come to Emily for salads. Burger, pizza and Korean chicken and you’ll love every bite!

Honestly the ambience is poor. Fairly brightly lit, crowded line of tables. No privacy, yet also no coziness.Food (pizza) was tasty, but not exceptional.

Food and service is good but the price is simply not justified. 31$ for a burger is simply not worth it.Cocktails were nice and punchy.I am just disappointed that the overall food taste is good ( no extra ordinary ) but way too expensive.

I flew 300 miles just to try the Emily burger. It was absolutely exceptional the fries were a little plain though. It came with some homemade ketchup I believe. I feel like it should come with some type of garlic aioli or some type of special seasoning, a burger this special deserves special fries in my opinion I wouldn't even mind paying a few dollars more.

I went straight for the burger. I've been watching the Emmy Burger videos for a couple of years and I've tried to make it at home. It was exciting to take that first bite. The surreal moment; You don't know if you're dreaming it and time stops. The result: the hamburger is extraordinary, comparable only to one sold in Paris. The bread is the most notable. I wouldn't know how to describe it. The onion feels intense, but without being heavy. The sauce is very well put, the perfect combination. But... being extremely objective, the hamburger I make at home is better.

One of my favorite pizza places in the city. Get “the emily”, “the big ang” or “the colony.” The burger and fries are also fantastic. Love the special sauce.

Absolutely fire burger — the rumors are true. My boyfriend claims he will no longer eat another burger so, granted we live in CA I guess this was my last burger ever. Worth the $31 price tag.

Small place that got very loud from the patrons as the place filled up. It's nice, worth trying since they are famous for the burger, so make a reservation. Not much for little kids to eat, except French fries and only Mexican Coke in a bottle, and no high chairs FYI.I liked the wings: whole wings with the three tips, you get 4-5 and are spicy, but could be overwhelming for those not used to hot sauce. The burger was good - my son, the burger connoisseur ate the signature burger but didn't vote it his favorite; considering he doesn't like too much smothering the meat but had bacon and cheese, take it for what its worth (a special smaller version of the burger was available at this time). Canned beer only at $6+. Outdoor seating is available and limited

Well, I work in New York fairly regularly and often try new places to eat, but much less often inclined to return to them. Emily’s is a definite exception as it was a truly great experience. I’m not a massive burger fan, but the burger and fries I had here were really great. The local beers on offer were very good too. The staff were so relaxed and friendly that it just made the whole experience perfect. The pizzas looked excellent too, so maybe next time…

We had a great experience here. The ambiance is wonderful, and albeit small, feels very comfortable. We made a reservation about a month in advance and the restaurant was packed, I'm not sure how accommodating they are with walk-ins. We had a special of carrots with ricotta and they were delicious. The dry aged burger was good, not the best burger I've had in my life but still good. The two pizzas we had were delicious. One had honey and pepperoni and was so good.

The experience was good. I first had a glass of a French red wine - smooth flavor but it was obviously the last of the bottle because there was little bits of…something…in the bottom of my glass. I tried the mixed green salad but the blue cheese crumble on it was very sour to my liking (process of elimination: the mixed greens, pineapple and nuts were ok). I ordered the EmmyBurger, something is place is known for, and I ordered a Brender pizza, red sauce with cheese, pepperoni, and banana peppers. The burger meat was delicious! Aside from that, meh. It came on a pretzel bun, but so much grease and sauce had seeped out of and through the bun that holding it with my hands was nearly impossible without lots of napkins. I ended up deconstructing it and using my fork and knife to eat it. The fries that came with it were perfect to my liking: shoe string and crispy! The pizza was much better! All the ingredients were delicious by themselves (again, process of elimination) and when combined, were even better! The pepperoni and the peppers both had a little spice to them but that was great for me!In the end: not the mind-blowing experience I was told I would have, but it was still a wonderful meal. I may not make the effort to come back (so many restaurants in Brooklyn!), but I am glad I came and tried it out.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever tried in my life. The taste is so good. The sauce is amazing and meat is perfectly cooked. I enjoyed it so much. The fries were so good but the ketchup had something so special. I highly recommend this place, the attention and the personal were so friendly.

I was waiting for two years for the Australian border to finally open and I could jet off to the States. Emily - top suggestion for burgers by Eaters. We made a reservation and didn’t have to wait at their original shop in Brooklyn. It’s a small place which prob sits 20, so make sure you plan ahead.Re the food, OUTSTANDING. Emmy burger came as described - picture perfect and amazing flavour. Never had this kinda bun ever, it’s an interesting texture the first time. The Emmy sauce was great, sat very well with the meat and brought the whole burger together. The Wagyu patty was thick enough to retain all the juice, could really taste the meatiness.I also ordered the pizza, the circle one instead of the square. It was a fine peace of pie, but just fine compared to the burger.Overall experience 5 STARS.

Reading and seeing about NY we found out about this restaurant and we went to try the hamburger and the mozzarella, pistachio and honey pizza, two highly recommended things from what we read and saw and yes they were right, great options, good size and worth their prices.

I can only review the Emily Burger ?, as I didn't have anything else and I made my order to go as I was in a rush. Boy O BOI, first and foremost when the hit you with a 33 dollar bill when all you ordered was a burger you might faint. So if you're still alive after the price then you're in for a treat! If you get a well done burger just go eat a tire with ketchup. Medium or medium rare, but that's my choice. The onions are sweet and the burger is super juicy. There is more than enough burger to fill you up, and the fries add to the dish. The side sauce is really good too but eat the burger for a few bites before going for sauce. I would recommend this burger to a vegan! Stop in and enjoy!!!

known for their burger and doesn’t disappoint! one of the best gourmet burgers I’ve had and you can tell it was made from high quality ingredients. however, the price at $31 makes this a place to venture only for special occasions.the patty was cooked a good medium rare, the caramelized onions added a little sweetness, the emily sauce was tasty as well, and the pretzel bun was a great choice!one of the surprising highlights were the fries (reminded me of a better mcdonald’s fries) with the house made ketchup.

I tried out the Emily Burger and I have to say, that it is probably one of the best burgers, I have ever ate, but 31$ is quite a lot and the fries were pretty bad for that kind of price. It's quite a small and the waitress was friendly.

First let me start by saying service is excellent. For the food, the burger was EXCELLENT according my fiance. For me the Emily pie was EXCELLENT. The honey, truffle oil and pistachios were such a good combo. The wedge salad didn't even have a teaspoon of dressing on it. I didn't want to eat a dry salad so I asked for more dressing and then was charged $2. Also ordered the Brender pie. I was excited because in pictures everything looks so good and saucy but when my pie came out it was like the sauce evaporated and I was left withva diary pie and what used to be sauce. I also asked if could replace the pepperoni with mushrooms and my server said ok. When I got the bill I was charged $4 for mushrooms. If I was still going to pay for the pepperoni I could've just ordered it on the side and my fiance could've ate it and I wouldn't have gotten mushrooms. I know on the menu it says no modifications on the burger but it didn't say anything about no substitutions on the pizza. I brought this up to the server and he was kind and tried to see what he could do. They took off the $2 ranch. So all in all half our meal was excellent and half our meal was bleh with the bleh parts costing us extra.
