Tommys Burgers + Brews

We have been visiting Tommy's for over 20 years. Burgers are always good. However, after our latest visit, I am not sure when we will be back. There really appears to be an upcharge for just about everything. They dont offer a "kids" menu but we usually have always made do with our kids. However, on our last visit we ordered a single chicken finger for our toddler to munch on. Got the ticket and the charge was $7 for ONE chicken tender. Didnt include a drink or a side or anything, just the single chicken tender. We have ordered a single slider or a single chicken tender for our children several years in the past and its never been that much.

The burger was amazing! The tator tots wasn't the best but I would try it again without making it frog tots. I will go back again because the burger was awesome. The atmosphere was cool and Tori was a great waitress

I manage my family’s shop down the road from them in white settlement and buy the guys lunch on Fridays. I try to get in there at least twice a month. Best burger in town and multiple choices on draft that you just won’t find anywhere else. The girls there are always so friendly and helpful. Love this place.

Ordered cheddar poppers to start that were over cooked (very obviously), and all the cheese had leaked out of them. My beer was nice, a peach Shiner, served cold in a clean glass. I ordered the Junkyard with no mushrooms. Basically a burger with everything, bacon, cheese, jalapeno, onion etc. Ordered with tater tots which were crispy, but no seasoning on them.The food came out hot and tasted fresh. The patty unfortunately was not seasoned and the bun fell apart in my hands.I would say the atmosphere is cozy with a man cave vibe. Clean, but in needs of an update.Served in a timely manner with no issues.

One of the best burgers and fries I've had in a while. Superb service...when I told the waitress it was my first time here, she made excellent suggestions and patiently answered my questions. Will absolutely return!

Went to a birthday get together at Tommys Ridgmar outside. It was wonderful. The service was spectacular considering it was outside & there were so many of us. I was very impressed. And, of course, the food was scrumptious as always.

I normally eat at one of their other locations. However this one is so close to home and I decided to give it a try. I am speechless! The food was excellent and the service matched. Thank you Holly and Stephanie (pardon if I got a name wrong).

Best Burgers and staff in Fort Worth! Not a fan of Frog Fries! Although during the week around lunch you sometimes get to sample homemade dessert! Love the burgers!

Went there last night for date nite burgers and beer. Tommy's continues to impress! Good service, good food, awesome beer selection. I had a brie and bacon burger salad with homemade ranch dressing...yummy. Hubby had a mushroom Swiss burger cooked just the way he likes it! ???all the way around!

I cannot rave about this place enough. It's hard to find a good turkey burger in Ft. Worth, but Tommy's knocks it out of the park. The burgers are hefty and flavorful. Buns are soft and pillowy. I also love their fries and they have the BEST ranch. This place has been family owned for 40 years and you can really tell it's made with love.

Tommy's is a wonderful place to grab a freshly made burger and a beer. Burgers are juicy with all the fixins plus add-ons if you like a unique burger experience. I just like the good ole fashioned classic myself. The fries are hand cut and fried to a perfect crispness. The serving staff is friendly and helpful with all the menu options.

Had a wonderful lunch here today. Joshua was our server and he was amazing. Fun personality and really good waiter. Food was amazing. One of the best burgers I have ever had. Really love that you get options besides just fries. The homemade ranch is very tasty. Highly recommend for a great meal and at a pretty reasonable price.

I had the burger with goat cheese, it was really good!! One of my favorite burgers in town and they are half pound burgers! Service staff were great with my kiddos, fun place to go

WOW!!!!! Overwhelming satisfied. The crew is very attentive, and several of them came by everyone's tables and asked if anything was needed. Service supreme. The smallest of a thing (not really) it was a little warmer than I like in the location. But then again I am a big guy so maybe that was it. Lol

An amazing find!! Tasty old-fashioned, cooked to the proper temperature burgers resting in a clean hole-in-the-wall with great service. They even have a small craft beer selection. Don’t miss the turkey and veggie burgers.

My son took me here for the first time. He comes here often. I loved it! Great good and service. Loved the atmosphere as well. Told my son he should being his dad here next time. I had the veggie burger and fries. Was made perfectly!

I had the veggie burger and it was delicious! The only thing I didn't care for were the fries. They remind me of The Varsity (Georgia) or 5 Guys fries...half cooked potatoes. The service was great and will be back! #thanksforreading

I walked through the door and wasn't greeted because the bartender/waitress was eating a piece of cake behind the bar, which is fine because maybe that's the type of environment it is. I went for a catfish plate because I saw they had great catfish. After my order was ready this lady grabbed my lemons with her bare hands that she had just got through eating cake with and put it on top of my fish, never washed her hands or used gloves! I looked over that, when I got in my vehicle I ate a peice of my fish and although it was fresh it wasn't catfish it was swai! So if you're looking for real catfish this was not! Maybe I'll try a burger next time.

We were in the area to visit friends and as we were leaving I had a massive craving for a GOOD burger. They all unanimously said “Go to TOMMYS”.I have to say, this is the best little place and friendly staff and amazing FRESH burgers! The onion rings are awesome and not the straight-from-the-freezer kind. The fried zucchini is amazing! And they have this sour pink lemonade cider on tap that is PHENOMENAL ?Don’t miss eating here!!!?

The cheese burger was good. The hot ham and cheese was good. Something was spicy in the ham and cheese. Maybe the cheese... But it was good. The club was good. Service was great. Not a fan of the fries. I like crispy fries.

Tucked into a small strip by the largely empty mall is one of the best burgers I have ever had. The staff was amazing, and the beer selection was top notch mix of local brews and regional favorites.

Cold beer on tap (even PBR), old-school feel, great burgers, and great service. Donna took good care of us. We will be adding this to our list of places to frequent, even just for beer and a basket of tots or onion rings. Highly recommend!

First time to Tommy's burgers, really fun atmosphere. We had a burger and BLT with fries, both were really good! I'm so happy to find a restaurant with good food! The staff was super friendly as well. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Tommy's burgers and brews is a great place' Stephanie our server was exceptional in her service, she had a café full of ppl, one table would finish then leave it wouldn't be 5 minutes that same table was occupied again. Non the less Stephanie took time to explain the cooks process, very impressive' the burger patties are not premade frozen from a box, its the real deal' fries are not pulled from a sack, they're made from whole potatoes right in the kitchen' truly a remarkable café. I highly recommend you to give it a try" fyi... This café is well worth the wait' we ordered and it took about 25 min to get our cheddar burgers. If you dont have patients in quality prepared food hop on over to the MC Donald's. .

1/2 lbs burgers that will fill you up. Great choices, friends staff who are ready to oblige to your requests. They 24 beers on tap and rotate them seasonally. Good burger spot !!

This place Rocks! Nolan Ryan Beef burgers... Omg they are so good... I always get the Mushroom swiss burger comes with house fries and HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH! ITS DELICIOUS! The staff is friendly remember you remember your orders.... To me they get a double 5 star rating . Burgers are so fairly priced and NO FROZEN PATTIES HERE

Definitely now one of my favorite restaurants. They were packed full but we still had amazing service. The staff has the best vibes and the food was AMAZING!!! I am SO sad that this location isn’t closer to us! Such a great establishment.Everyone was so pleasant and when they heard that it was our first time visiting they informed us about how everything worked. Our server, Steph was amazing. Super attentive and friendly. She made our experience so awesome!I had the green chile goat cheese burger, and my husband had the jalapeño burger. Both were delicious! We also ordered the three mini burgers to split between our two kids and they included and extra slider and split the plate at no cost.Whenever we’re in the area (or craving a burger and have the 40 mins available to drive) we’ll definitely be back!

The Nolan Ryan beef patties are good beef, but not seasoned, so the burgers taste bland. If you like "juicy" burgers, you won't find them here. The quality of other menu items is just too unpredictable. My fries were a mix of overcooked and stale. For the price, there are much better options out there. Dutch's on University is MUCH better, and if it is too far for you to drive, you can get Doc's delivered through Uber Eats.
