The Stand Arcadia Burger Shoppe

Came across this hamburger stand on the internet...best hamburger in Phoenix.This is somewhat of a non descript small little building...drive through only...they closed there outdoor patio area indefinitely.That being said; ordered the hamburgers..side fries, and had to with the chocolate shake.Hamburger...good portion on the meat patty, LTO good...came with their own secret sauce..burger was packaged nicely...but it's definitely a 2hander hunch down approach...= it gets messy.Fries...thin cut with skin on...Luke warm and soft...mehShake..thick as plaster...but they give you an industrial straw.The young lady on the to go speaker and at the window was pleasant and engaging.On the pricy side...but what isn't these days.Overall...if your in the area yes...but it's not a " I need a hamburger and I'm going to drive across town for.

Solidly good burger. Bun didn't fall apart, wasn't too greasy, and had all the fixings. The Royale w/the lava sauce is really friggin good.

First of all, the people complaining about the price should read the menu and not go to places they deem expensive in the first place. They're more expensive than McD's and cheaper than most restaurants or diners in the city.The guy that complained that the burger was too big for a normal person to eat may have bigger problems in life than a small stomach.The Stand has burgers that taste like real food.The burgers are delicious.The fries are mediocre.The shakes have been too expensive and glutenous for me to get with a meal, but everyone says they're amazing so I'll have to try them someday.I have been underwhelmed maybe twice out of the dozens upon dozens of times I've gone here.If you haven't been to The Stand and like burgers that are not dripping with grease, give it a try.Just skip the fries.

This is a great place. Great fries, great burgers, and great shakes. They also have coke products which I like. It’s also not a big restaurant that you see in different states. It’s a small little restaurant. The only thing though is that it is a little pricey.

Delicious! Fresh burgers that are worth the wait. They take celiac seriously too. They even use separate bags when ordering a mixture of gf and non gf items.

Haven lived in Phoenix now for about 5 months drove pass this place a few times , finally decided to check it out! THE BEST BURGER I have had so far in AZ wow, worth the wait they were out of the shake I wanted around 7pm ,but no biggie that just means I gotta return and I will !! Good about of fries not the hottest but your going there for the BURGER!

3 stars for atmosphere because they are still drive-thru only even though Covid is long gone, but you won't find a better burger and fries in the valley. I recommend the Big Kahuna Burger and fries, add a freshed squeezed lemonade to wash it down and you will be glad you did.

Absolutely delicious burgers and fries! The service was excellent too in the drive-thru.Even though it’s not specified on the menu, you can add cheese to your burger which imho makes it so much better. The fries are to die for, especially with the stand sauce.

First time going on my way to work got the Arcadia burger was not very good at all the grilled onions was a bit much and the meat was okay .. maybe I should of got something else but the banana shake was really good and the customer service is good

First time trying this place and have to say that while it was expensive, the burgers and shakes were fantastic. The fries were OK, but if you go definitely try the banana shake, it might be the best shake that I've ever tasted and I'll definitely be getting it next time that I go. The people that worked there were very nice too, in all a cool place and fun to try.

I drove by The Stand so many times and finally decided to drive through! This joint is underwhelming from outside and a drive through only, however after trying many times, I can easily say, it Stands out as the best burger joint in town. The Stand, The Arcadia or The Evil, are all juicy, meaty,comes with double patties and grilled perfectly to order. Toppings are simple and fresh. The bun is toasted, soft inside and the Stand sauce is dripping from the burger… the end product is comfort and satisfaction. The fries and milkshakes are incredible as well. I recommend The Arcadia burger and The Salted Dulce de leche milkshake.

The Big Kahuna, the Evil Standard, and the strawberry shake was so good! The food is made to order and it’s always fresh and so tasty. These are the best burgers and fries in the area! And for the high quality and great service, you can’t beat the prices!

Best friend and I did the top 10 burger places in Arizona a few years back. The Stand was ranked 6th. After completing all places, our decision, for an original standard burger, The Stand is #1.

These guys are awesome I want to let you know that these guys did a righteous job today and performed an actor kindness. Less than a mile down the road someone pulls out right in front of my motorcycle, I brake and my dood goes into the road. So I rhought I'd give it a shot to go bk and explain what happened and the supervisor remade my order and I secured it better. I haven't even tasted the burgers yet and it's a 5 Star thx guys! I'll edit this after I grub down for the food revjew...

I just picked up my gluten-free burger and a chocolate chile shake, and I don't think I could be happier. Such great food, such great service - all boxed up in a cute little shoppe on Indian School Rd. Thank you, The Stand, for all you do!

Best burger in town! Everytime I'm in PHX I have to stop by. If you were like me and always thought in n out was a must when visiting.. just reroute your gps to this place and thank me later. The burger is to die for! It's such good quality beef and the stand sauce is delicious! I always order the fries and get extra sauce. The ranch sauce is really good as well.For dessert grab a shake! The Salted Dulce de Leche is my favorite but all are great!If you can't tell I love this place and you will too!

This is a drive through only burger stand. We heard the fries were great but that wasn't true. They were amazing!!! ? Will return! They come with Stand Sauce which tastes like fry sauce but with pickles in it.

awesome food and experience every time. the burgers, you can pick anyone and be satisfied with flavor. by the 6th time, you'll have your standards set.enjoy with a shake and fries. extra sauce.

Amazing. The Standard hamburger, fries with Stand sauce, and chocolate shakes are the family go-to. It’s like In and Out - but better and local. Drive-thru only right now but they move it along pretty well. A little pricy but well worth it.

The service was good and faster than expected with only drive thru open. The Big Kahuna burger was ok. I wasn't a fan of onions with pineapple. Probably minus the onions next time. The fries were delicious! The chocolate shake was a little above average.

Live right down the street from this place and finally gave it a go today and it was really good! Burger was massive and came with two patties. I also ordered fries and the portion is enough for 2 people. Next time I will probably skip out on the fries, they are better than in-n-out fries but nothing too crazy. Coffee shake was to die for, so good! Friendly service. Overall great little spot. Only complaint was that it was pretty pricey. Other people have mentioned long waits, I must’ve lucked out because I went around noon and only had a couple cars ahead of me.

What kind of magic is this? It's hard to make a burger significantly better than any typical burger you can get elsewhere. Some how The Stand does make their burgers amazingly better than just anywhere else. No way to describe it other than delicious! I can't put my finger on what it is that makes it so good, but I like it! Great place to stop by if in the area!

When I am craving a great burger this is my spot. All their burgers are doubles. They use really fresh ingredients, think not soggy old lettuce but fresh and crispy. The fries are delicious hand cut. Most days they are only doing drive thru (we went on a Sunday) but they are pretty efficient and despite two cars ahead of us got our order quicker than I expected. Faster and fresher than Portillo’s.

All the burgers I had were tasty. The big Kahuna was awesome and I wish I was eating one right now. The guacamole burger was also quite good. The French fries were just decent but reheating them may have been the issue.The wait is a bit so you must be patient.
