Chicago Hamburger Co

A+ for Chicago style! Very reminiscent of a city dog shop. We stopped in on a Saturday night after a pop-up show in the area. The place was busy and a bit crazy. However, we managed to find a booth. Service was friendly yet professional, and the food came quickly in spite of the large crowd. It tasted like we were in Chicago! I can't remember exactly what we ordered. There were 4 of us, and we shared everything. I just remember we all said it tasted like home, and we tore it up!

Phoenix institution, open to everyone and not just transplanted Chicagoans 😄 specialty probably would be the sliders, awesome 3 or 4 bite mini-hamburgers for those who don't know. With cheese and everything. Daily specials include bratwurst with sauerkraut sometimes, very good turkey burgers, cheese fries, and, can't not mention delicious milkshakes just chocolate or vanilla.2024.02.03 was here in December with my daughter and her boyfriend when they were back visiting Phoenix from Boston for christmas. This is one of probably three or four places she has to go. I stopped in today on my way home from scottsdale. Bratwurst special, crispy and hot French fries, and "a couple" of sliders with cheese and everything

Really disappointed....i have come here multiple times as i work across the street (i normally pay with a card & never had issues) but this last visit i made a purchase with a large bill and was shorted 18$. I called the same day to get assistance with this issue & was told I would be contacted the next day after the drawer was balanced. Nobody called so I called again the next day & was told I now have to wait til MONDAY to speak w/owner "Bob"- why should I be made to wait this long when they made a mistake with MY money? Again- I was a somewhat regular customer but unless Bob fixes this and I stop being avoided then they will have lost me as a customer as well as my coworkers.

No frills... hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, lots of good options, daily specials. I go for the fries, my dog gets the sliders ??? Super friendly staff, you can tell that the owner keeps everybody happy. He is on site most of the time too. Love this place!

It was my first time dining at this establishment. We ordered a chili cheese dog, 4 sliders, French fries & fried zucchini. It was delicious! I didn't take pictures but I will on my next visit. The service was great! Can't waited to try different items. (The hot dog is Vienna beef).

If want some top-notch burgers and shakes in an old-school diner atmosphere, this is the place for you. Don't come expecting low-cal options or frills. This is an old-school eatery that makes no apologies for itself. The food, however, is worth your time. In particular, I recommend the peanut-butter shake.

We stopped in for lunch. Burgers and hot dogs. Everything was delicious. So much food. The banana shake was the best part. The resturant is so clean. You can tell the owner loves their resturant. The staff are friendly. We will be making this a normal stop for us! Thank you.

35 miles roundtrip for lunch. But was worth the drive. 2/3 lb cheddar and fries did the trick for lunch. Can't wait to come back and try the Vienna beef dog and sliders... ??

Solid little burger place! We had the cheese fries, onion rings, Cheddar Burger (added bacon), and the Western Burger. We enjoyed all of it! Will definitely be returning to try their chili cheese fries, sliders, hot dogs.

This place is an AMAZING hole in the wall joint. I had the chili dog. The chili is EXCELLENT! My friend had the avocado burger and he loved it! He and our other friend/lunch partner went for lunch the day before and they loved their burgers. Go early because it gets busy and the line will be out the door, but it goes quick. Old fashioned, lots of Chicago memorabilia. Bravo!

The exact kind. Of place i love to take my kids. Low key, inexpensive and really really good. Kids had milkshakes, burgers and dogs. I had chili cheese dog and loved it. All ate well for under $35

Pick up is quick, everyone is very friendly, and the cashier always includes napkins, utensils , and ketchup. Food tastes great.

Been going here for years. Lived in Wrigleyville for a while way back, and it's just like a Chicago hot dog joint was extracted and planted in Phoenix. You'll know a legit Chicago hot dog place by the radioactive looking pickle relish.

We use Chicago Hamburger Co for all of our company functions. We always order in bulk and every burger (200+ of them) is always perfect. Staff is always happy to see us rolling in boxes of these sliders. Great to reheat and eat later as well! Thank you Bob to you and your team for providing a great service.

This is a wonderful place ! Reminds me of 1950 diner! Chicago memorabilia ! The owner and employees are so nice ! They treat everyone like family ! Midwest hospitality for sure ! The food is excellent ! Chicago sliders are amazing ! One of my favorites is their sloppey joes ! I love malts, which they have ! Try it once and u will be hooked ! Its amazing !

I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could! The service was great and the food was so amazing we started planning our next visit before we were done eating! They used very high quality ingredients and knew exactly what they were doing when putting it all together. This was my first visit, and definitely won't be my last!

White Castle or Krystal Burger ain't got nothing on this place when it comes to classic Chicago style sliders. Grew up on 38th Street and going here to eat burgers and play pinball was a much bigger treat than going to any fast food restaurant or video arcade pizza joint.Although they don't have the pinball machines anymore, the food is on point and Bob the owner is still keeping the energy real here. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area, I always do even though I live out of town now.

Not only was the food delicious they prepared it fast and brought it out to me in my car. Service is top notch. The food was beyond amazing. Fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside. The burger was something I've never experienced it was oddly sweet and savory.

This is one of the BEST burger spots in the city! I have been here twice and will be back many more times. I ordered “Bob’s Big @$$ burger” and my girlfriend ordered the guacamole burger. We both finished everything including two orders of onion rings! We love this place!!!

Best Burgers in Phoenix HANDS DOWN.I can’t believe it’s been four years since my first review (below) and I think Chicago Hamburger Co has gotten even better. The menu says that Bobs Big @$$ Burger was inspired by his wife telling Bob he needed something ridiculous on the menu. A man who listens to his wife is a wise man. The picture attached is my burger of choice! Bobs Big @$$ Burger has three cheeses, jammy grilled onions, bacon and onion rings with thousand island dressing (comes on the side for a choose your own adventure!).This burger is no joke and such a great price.Everything on the menu is LARGE and such a good price point, especially for the area and much better than the area.They have many other options for food so there’s something for everyone. You can even order on ChowNow and pick up for your office!The staff has always been incredible, friendly, fast, CLEAN and efficient! The building is decked out in Chicago memorabilia as well as historical family moments, with booths and tables to sit at.Chicago Hamburger Company has been around since 1975 and has been a staple in the Phoenix Arcadia area. Take a short trip to Chicago, you won't be disappointed.Tables, counters, floors, and bathroom were clean. Concession area was well organized and stocked. Decor is fun, mainly made up of Chicago knickknacks. Restaurant temperature was just right. Dining in clientele was primarily hard labor workers, while to go orders were primarily picked up by retirees. Steady flow of customers coming and going, very popular. Parking lot was small, so you may need to park on the street.Staff was very friendly, attentive, and quick to bring condiments we asked for. All staff members wore uniforms and were clean in appearance. No one wore any overbearing scents.All ordered items had a great presentation. Burger was at a good temperature. Zucchini fries were scalding hot, so they needed a minute to cool. Garlic fries could have been warmer and fries could have been crispier. Burger could have been a little more seasoned, but was overall delicious and its ingredients were fresh. Garlic fries were topped with minced garlic, so they had a huge punch of garlic flavor. Overall, the meal was wonderful and definitely worth the price.On my next visit, I will probably try the coleslaw or the chili cheese fries.Thank you Chicago Hamburger Co., can't wait to visit again!

I got the western bacon cheese burger with garlic fries and overall it was okay. The burger wasn't at all very impressive for the price point. The patty itself was about a step above lunchroom patties. The fries were okay but I don't reccomend getting the garlic fries, it looks like they used the pre minced garlic from a jar and it just overpowers the taste of any parmigian cheese or seasoning. Also there was a half inch of standing oil at the bottom of the container which made the other fries inedible. My acquaintance had a normal cheddar burger and had no complaints. Also I don't reccomend going to dine in, it was hot and humid inside.
