Really should be a 4.5. Great drinks and good food. Only been for dinner, will update after trying brunch. Definitely worth checking out though.

The fact they cooked my food to perfection! Steak was bruised but they made it right. THE SHRIMP AND GRITS WAS SAVORY WITH A LITTLE SWEETNESS" CORN CRACK " I could eat that every day! Ughh great atmosphere great service!!!! I'm coming backSTEAK AND EGGS IS A WINNER peppercorn sauce on POINT.

Took them a minute to serve us our drinks, (they were great) had the frozen margaritas the bartenders were busy talking to their friends, and it took them a long time to get back to us to take our orders, everything else was on point! 🔥🔥🔥

This is an amazing place! Service beyond expectations! Even before we were seated, this place was packed and slammed (this should tell you how the locals feel about “Sunshine Co”). I am recovering from a very difficult serious illness and needed to use the restroom, which was downstairs, a long way. (Brooklyn🥴) It is very difficult for me to walk even a few steps. “Jade” appeared magically at the top of the stairs and offered to help me down the stairs so I could use the facilities and then, he said, I will come back for you in a few minutes, when you are ready”. WOW! Even though this place was very busy, he took time out to help me. He didn’t even know if I was a customer or not.As I mentioned, this place was very busy and there was a long line, waiting to be seated, he offered to get me a chair so I could wait with my family. Another WOW!Even though it was very busy, you could feel the energy in the staff, everyone was focused on the task at hand, taking care of customers, and it was very smooth.We were soon seated and in spite of the craziness you never felt “the chaos” swirling around and we were well attended. It seemed the servers were just jumping in where needed to bring food or water or condiments, regardless of whether it was “their table” which ultimately was the result of the synergy of all the staff. What a delight to have such a dining experience! Once we placed our orders it didn’t seem that long of a wait, even though it was very busy. We had coffee, tea and water while we waited. it was a beautiful warm day and we were seated outside so we didn’t mind.Once our orders arrived there was another WOW! Delicious and very carefully prepared and unique and flavorful in everything. I had the biscuits and gravy, which came highly recommended, with 2 eggs, and they were THE BEST I EVER ATE. I am somewhat of “biscuits and gravy” connoisseur so I do not make this claim lightly.Our brunch at “Sunshine Co” was the beginning of a perfect day. Highly recommend! Thank you, Jade!

Such delicious food and drinks! We got brunch on a Saturday and got to sit in the lovely outdoor seating. Good service and location.

So , 3 stars. However , the food itself is about a 4 , drink was a 5.I docked two stars for the service.I came here last month for my birthday brunch after visiting the museum. I was alone , so when I got there , I was immediately greeted by the hostess ( who was super friendly) and sat at a table and that was certainly appreciated because they were busy outside and inside.I waited a bit and the waitress came over asking what I wanted for a drink. I ordered the Bloody Mary. It took them about 10 mins. Another waitress stopped by to check for the drink and it finally came. My food then arrived and the eggs Benedict was delicious. The roasted potatoes that came with were yummy as well.

I personally don't love the atmosphere of the interior; but, definitely can see this as a great weekend spot for sitting outside watching the neighbors go by and enjoying the steak and eggs!

3.5 for was good it was weird two couples got seated and served at the bar before anyone took our drink orders. A little loud inside as well. Staff was very friendly when they got to us and food hit the spot

Best eggs Benedict. Fast service. We arrived at 9:15 on a Sunday fifteen minutes after opening and the place was packed ten minutes later so get there early. My husband had the steak and eggs and loved.

Great happy hour although they were out of mussels so I could of been happier! The beer selection also should be changed but overall a very cute place.

The service & drinks were top notch. Felt right at home! I had the grits & it was pretty mediocre, nothing to phone home about. Highly recommend the beverage that contributes to abortion services, drinking for a cause!
