Place is hopping and reasonably priced. Service was good.Food was bit delyed due to high volumes, but waitstaff communicated that so all was well. Will return.

We ordered a Bobber and a Spitfire and shared a cup of fries. The burgers are excellent, clearly using an exceptional grade of meat. The fries are shoestring, and nice and crispy. Note all burgers...

Great hamburgers and grilled cheese sandwiches! Service was great too! I would consider this one of the best lunch locations in downtown Dallas.

We ate breakfast here every day while we attended a conference. For a tiny place they have great food and really good prices.

Food was amazing as usual! Service was decent, table cleaning between patrons was not a thing. Ended up cleaning after the last guest. If you haven’t been you need to go, if you haven’t been in a long time go back.

Food did not meet up to ratings online. Burger buns were dry. Meat was overcooked. Not the best burger in Dallas as advertised. Order was incorrect.

Multiple problems. Here are two. It was so cold inside I literally couldn’t finish my burger. I tried three different sodas and all were almost completely flat.

For $20 for just a burger with some fixins', fries, and a tiny drink, it's not worth the price. The only thing I couldn't get at a Whataburger instead is a fried egg, but they don't know how to cook a fried egg over easy. Burger wasn't anything to write home about, the truffle fries were so-so, and the drink is only 16 oz. You can get almost the same burger (but better tasting), a large fry, and a shake at just about any fast food joint for half the price.

In my experience, the food at this place has been somewhat inconsistent. I've dined here multiple times and ordered the same dishes, yet the results from the kitchen have varied each time. Nevertheless, it's still an acceptable option for a meal. However, during my last visit, I did observe that the front-of-house staff, particularly the host position, could benefit from some PR re-training. My advice is to appear as though you love your job even if you don't because you will get further in life with sugar than with vinegar. Unless you are a pickle manufacturer.... :D

Chop House was absolutely delicious! I am extremely gluten sensitive, so it's so great that Chop House offers gluten-free buns. I don't get to enjoy burgers the way I would like to because of that, but at Chop House, that is not an issue! The staff is always friendly and quick to serve up your order once you've placed it.

Nice local feel burger joint. Small and unassuming with just a handful of tables. The kitchen is very small and right up front but you can see your food being made freshly. My family and I were very pleased with the quality though and the food was served very quickly. Glad we checked this place out on a whim. I would go back again if I was in Dallas again.

I was in town for a convention and our group decided to eat here for dinner. A very simple burger joint. Great burgers. I had the patty melt and fried pickles. Fresh tasting and fast friendly service. I will come back if I’m in the area again.

? ???? ????? ?????? ?➪ 10/10 Easily the best burgers in Dallas. They were delicious. The fries were amazing and I’m not a fry girl I usually leave them for my boyfriend to have but I just had to have every bite for myself here!➪ 10/10 Beautiful location. Casual. Perfectly centered. If you are in the Dallas area definitely check them out!

Decent burger. Would have liked a basic, or build your own, burger option.Fries came out cold and undercooked.“Buffalo” wings weren’t really a traditional Buffalo sauce. Way more sweet than we liked, and then the heat wasn’t flavorful, just spicy.Would eat a burger here again, but would pass on the wings and request fries “well done.”

Nice atmosphere and location. Ate on the porch where the weather and ambiance were good. Service was very slow. Burger bun was dry on both of our burgers. Flavor was nothing to write home about. My son loved the cookies and cream shake. I wouldn’t go back.

1st time here and I gotta say I was expecting more. None of the burgers blew me away like I thought they would. I ordered the Ricky Bobby melt which is angus beef, Texas toast, American cheese, onion, jalapeño. It came out fresh, hot and tasty but tasted like Whataburger patty melt or a Sonic patty melt. What I did love was their Agua Fresca! Had a fresh pineapple taste! Delicious! The service was really good, the lady who took our order was nice, friendly and helpful and another employee came out asking if our order was ok and if we needed anything. I thought this place would be bigger though and the chairs are a bit uncomfortable as it's all wooden like the tables. I did appreciate the sign they had explaining how all the products they use are made in Texas. All in all it was a great experience!

Samurai was good and TRUFFLE FRIES were delicious! 3 stars are mainly for the experience. A couple of weekends ago my child was playing at a volleyball tournament in Dallas. Majority of our traveling was over 2 hrs away. We had gotten done in enough time to walk from convention center to your location before closing at 9 for dinner. We were all starving and not much stayed open late on a Sunday night apparently and heard how good the food was here. Got there at 8:30pm. There were about 6-8 people still in the eating area. We had a group of 13/14. The employees acted as if they did not want to serve us. Not a good impression for our first time. Finally, they said we could order to go. As we sat there and waited, we went ahead and started to eat. Like I said we were starving especially our girls who had been playing all day. We were done eating by 9pm. I do not understand why anyone would turn around 100's of dollars of food especially coming back from a pandemic or during hard times. The food was delicious. I just hate the service left a bad taste in my mouth. The manager and staff need a little better training on customer service. Sadly, I'm pretty sure a couple of us still tipped too.

Im giving this place 3 stars based STRICTLY off the young lady at the register. Seem very annoyed with me. Didn't greet me. Rushed me through the order process. Wasn't a problem till some other men that came in after me. She lit up, greeted them. Went over the menu in detail with them. Just wasn't welcoming & customer service plays a big key with me.

I’ve had sliders the size of their burgers and they keep giving me the smallest flattest chicken breast possible when I order the fried chicken sandwich

Have been here several times—always when taking the train in for the Stars games, as it’s just a block away from the Akard station. The truffle fries are reason alone to keep coming back! Wow!I made a mistake and got a chicken sandwich, and it was dry. Will not make that mistake again, as the burgers are large, juicy, and so yummy!

First time here during an overnight getaway to Dallas. Awesome crew and awesome menu. Was a little busy but hey - it was Saturday night on Memorial Day weekend. I did the Samurai. For sushi lovers, this one was EPIC!!! The Cereal Killer shake was awesome too. You definitely get more than what you pay for here. Coming back for sure.

Great place with quality food and service. Some burger were delicious some other sides and sandwiches not so much, but overall it’s a 4.5 in my book. The mood is awesome and very chill. I really liked the price. I will be back for sure.

I was staying nearby and heard from multiple people that the Chop House had some of the best burgers in town. I went in with no expecations and was pleasantly surprised. There were so many options I decided to go with The Samurai (ahi tuna). It was simply perfection, cooked medium rare with amazing flavor and texture. I wish I had more time in Dallas, because I would have gone back for another Samurai burger! Great location, service and seating options.

Nice place with small patio seating outside. Service was friendly.I got the Chop House burger which comes with a yummy truffle sauce. They cook the meat to your liking. I did mine medium well and they got it right.Wifey got the Ricky Bobby "melt" and said it was really good but would substitute Texas Toast for Burger Bun next time if allowed.Another person got the "Green" New Deal which is a vegetarian option with a falafel patty. The burgers are a bit expensive for what you get but nothing outrageous for a downtown main street Dallas location.I really enjoyed the truffle parmesan fries and cold beer with my burger. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend them.

I’ll be honest. I’ve had some burgers that are much much better. We ordered 3 burgers there. The falafel burgerThe luchadorThe jerk chicken. The falafel burger - it was alright but not something I would wanna order again. The jerk chicken - the only burger with any flavor in it. I did enjoy this one.The luchador - this was a complete disaster. It felt like they didn’t even add any salt to the meat. Although the patty was soft and moist but it was just bland !

Great potential, cool atmosphere right on the corner but, the burger was way over cooked. Bacon was under cooked and fries were cold. The bun was delicious lolI'm visiting from out of town so I won't go back anyway.

We visited Dallas years ago and had eaten at several restaurants. We were happily surprised to find Chop House. The lunch crowd was minimal. Our server, Greg, was friendly and knew the menu well. I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza and it was delicious and was served hot. Well done!

Customer service was good, food not so much. I ordered my burger medium and no onions. Came out with onions and well done, just lacked flavor. Wasn’t a fan of the truffle fries. I’ve had them before at other restaurants and they were amazing. I was disappointed in what I received.

The food was good. Nothing out of this world but good. The truffle fries was unique and good, But kinda soggy. The burgers was good. It is a very small place might be able to hold 40 people. But service was excellent and fast! They told me the wait would be about 45mins after we ordered. But it was not very long at all. Maybe 20mins. Which seemed appropriate for what we ordered. Staff was friendly.
