Bullfrog smoked a turkey for my Christmas party. Everyone said it was the best smoked turkey they ever had! It was juicy and delicious. They rub used was awesome! YUM

It is rare to find barbecue this good that is also this affordable. We love it here. The service is always quick and kind. As long as the weather permits, the patio is perfect for enjoying a meal and a cold one with a friend.

First time here. Was a little worried that at lunch time there was no one there at lunch time on a Friday afternoon. Young girl was nice and showed me all the side dishes. I opted for the brisket plate which included two sides. Cost just shy under $20 which is way more than I normally spend for lunch, but barbecue normally is overpriced in my book. The brisket was moist and tender. Barbecue sauce was a little too tangy for my liking but good. The Mac and cheese was thick and stuck to your ribs. No cheese sauce left behind! Green beans were nothing to write home about, maybe add a little smoked bacon to flavor it up a bit more. Texas toast was perfect and made mopping up leftover sauce easy. Overall food was good but I have had better for the price eventhoughI thought the portions were good.

Baked potato was warm not hot and kunda small for the price. Chopped beef was good as was the bbq sauce . Staff was friendly.

We came in to the restaurant and it has a casual vibe. We had burgers, brisket sandwiches. The onion rings were very good. My 4 year old like the kids brisket plate and the hubby liked his burger and fries. Overall good food. We all left with our belly's full and our souls happy. Great customer service.

This is my new BBQ destination..small business with deep flavors and a wonderful aroma that catches ones attention. The sliced briskets flavors were tempting and will continue my indulgence with tasty ribs my next time around.

Usually pretty good customer service, food is good. But I spent 70.00 last week to go. I got home all 3 orders were wrong. Called and told them and they act like so what nothing said about them messing up very rude

This place is a hidden GEM!! We’ve been there twice now after a recommended from a local guy who’s been going there for years. Not enough good things to say. 1st impression was because there was a car already at the drive up window, a worker came outside to take our order instead of waiting for us to pull up to the window. Then when we got our burgers (mushroom Swiss for me) I was in Love at First Bite!! Onion rings were really good. Great Fries too! Wish the ranch was a little thicker, but it was still quality. Just quit reading this and go there already!!

Loved it! Good BBQ in a nice setting, wish I could come back here more often if I was in the area. I got the brisket plate with potato salad and coleslaw. The brisket was very good and I really liked the potato salad, very good compared to other BBQ places.

This place is not for the faint of hearts. It's a bit dingy, a bit dusty, a little greasy spoon type place but the food! Omg the brisket falls apart like butter. The menu is a bit pricey. Again but the food! The okra is so great, Cole slaw and potato salad is sweet and crunchy and creamy, now I will stop there the chili looks ruff but it's very good. The drinks are fountain, and the mix is perfect for me, but they do have draft I believe. The fries are hand cut. They offer cheeseburgers, and cfs etc. So check it out! I love it. But that's just my opinion. Ps I must give a piece to the owners who seems to always be there and always so pleasant and nice, will clean your table or feed the drive thru. They are always smiling and laughing always to say hi and always to say see you next time. The ladies that work the kitchen are always ready to help and very courteous! And patient. Good Lord thanks for all patient drive thru workers.

First time going in here after passing it for 20+ years.I was pleasantly surprised and glad I did.Standard BBQ "joint" with all the fixings.I prefer more smoke and bark to my Q but the portions and sides were excellent and I enjoyed the staff.

An unassuming restaurant with solid BBQ and sides. I got brisket and ribs, both cooked perfectly and so flavorful as to not need sauce, though the house sauce complimented the meats well. The sides aren’t fancy, but they are flavorful and clearly are made with care, unlike many places where sides are an afterthought. Glad I came and I look forward to returning.

The ribs are the best in Fort Worth. Falling of the bone tender and full of flavor. Their bbq sauce is great but you don't need it. The ribs are moist and perfect without anything. The sides are good too and the cobbler, if you have room, is homemade with lots of crust. Down home atmosphere with great blues music. Add an ice cold fishbowl draw beer inside or in the beer garden out front. It's got it all.

This is definitely a great place for bbq and burgers. The staff was friendly. Food was served fresh & hot. Fresh handcut fries with great seasoning, amazing cheeseburger, mushroom swiss burger & sliced brisket sandwich and perfect onion rings. Definitely a wonderful experience.

Food was ok, nothing to complain about but also nothing to brag about. Place seems like a very nice place to hang out so I can see why the locals would like to come here. I am not from the area so I called ahead to make sure it was a pet friendly place since it had a patio, sadly when we arrived we were not allowed to bring our poodle in while we order, not a big deal one of us waited in the patio with our dog while we ordered. What upset me is that not longer after that, a lady walked in with her small dog and and she wasn’t told anything about it, then to make it worse she was allowed to walk with her dog to the kitchen area. If you have a policy apply it to everyone, don’t pick and choose.

My favorite bbq joint in Fort Worth hands down. Was coming in for the usual ribs and brisket with the fries and bbq beans but Todays special was the frito pie which came with a great Texas size portion of mouth watering chopped brisket and beef chili. Was not disappointed. Definitely recommend the chicken plate it comes with 2 sides and let me just say, wow. The chicken was so moist and just melted in my mouth! Topped with their homemade bbq sauce…delicious. Their baked potato salad was so creamy and unlike any I’ve had before. Their bbq baked beans had me regretting not asking for a 3rd side, ummm double beans please!

Fantastic BBQ in a classic side-of-the-road spot. Always friendly staff. Great meats. The BBQ beans are some of the best I've had. One of my favorite spots on the west side of DFW, hands down.

Went through the drive through, the young girl at the window was friendly and really seemed to want to be there..to me, that makes all the difference in the world. So on top of great food (ordered the chopped BBQ sandwich, which was absolutely delicious!), they also have great employees!

Bullfrog is bbq, which is good, but hubby and grandson got burgers, which were outstanding! Also a mountain of fresh french fries and an icy beer each left them unable to tackle the homemade peach cobbler. Too bad, guys, it was very tasty!

By far the best BBQ I've had in a long time. We ordered the baked potato with meat, chopped brisket to be exact and we ordered the two meat plate with ribs, brisket, green beans and BBQ beans. Absolutely amazing! The peach cobbler didn't disappoint either and the drinks were a great size too. Will definitely be coming back. Now for a nap! Lol

We are regulars at Bullfrogs, they have great food! Best cheese burgers around. You have to try their green chili cheese burger - wonderful! The BBQ is delicious as well !! It's one of our favorite places to eat as a family. The owner makes my youngest a fresh cup of his peach tea! Very relaxed, casual atmosphere and they even do to go orders as well !

I want to start off by first saying that the employees at the restaurant were very friendly and nice people. I had absolutely no trouble with them and they took care of me.But unfortunately, the food was just pretty regular tasting but the price was through the roof. I could not believe how expensive it was and I did not know this going in.There seems to be a group of regular customers that enjoy coming in and having a few drinks and talking amongst each other and with the employees. It seemed like a really nice environment for hanging out and enjoying yourself.But the hamburger meat did not taste like anything special and in fact it needed some salt. I can't recall ever needing to put salt on a hamburger at a restaurant but I did in this case. And the hamburger was just very bland tasting even with the toppings on it. What shocked me the most though was just how expensive it was for a simple meal. I think it was a little over $15 for the hamburger and then I'm not really sure what the french fries cost. But then the soda, which is a fountain machine you use yourself with a plastic, Pizza Hut type cup you can fill and refill I believe was $3.50.I wasn't really sure what to expect since I had not been into the restaurant since it was previously owned years ago by someone else. It's probably been 10 years since I had been into it. I think they serve barbecue and I wish I had tried it. But I was trying to eat fast and cheaply and I was only successful at one of those. Nothing tasted extra good and it really tasted subpar compared to other places of similar price I've been to.The staff did get my order right though and that is a plus. Nowadays, that seems to be so uncommon in most places that I do think it's worth mentioning that they did prepare things just the way I ordered them.I may try them again in the future, when I have extra money to spend, and see if anything is any better taste wise. It's always possible I caught them on a bad day? But at the risk of sounding overly harsh, I really wish I had not gone there and I had spent the approximately $25 (+/-) I spent for a simple meal somewhere else where I could have gotten more.

Just your old school BBQ joint. Delicious food. Good prices. Nice sized portions. Hubby ordered the sausage plate with potato salad and bbq beans. I ordered the chopped sandwich with fries. Definitely recommend.

Soooooo Delicious !! Small family owned cafe that is big on Flavor!! The chopped beef is Mmmmmmmm TASTY!! The beans reminded me of how my Dad used to cook them ... Everything was delicious... Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, Food was hot and fresh ... Definately coming back :) 5 STARS AND 2 BIG TEXAS THUMBS UP !!!!

Awesome Jalapeños it smelled great. They forgot a piece of my order but when I returned they were very very apologetic and even gave me a free cobler. If you want great BBQ with awesome staff reasonably priced try Bullfrogs. You won't be disappointed.
