Grumps Burgers - River Oaks. TX

My first time visiting here! Brought the whole family! The burger and onion rings were great. They serve peanuts while you wait! If I’m in the neighborhood again I will be back!

Sorry for the pictures, food looked so good forgot to take pictures until almost too late. Had the mushroom burger, onion rings MD corn nuggets. All were excellent.

The manager Nathan, greeted us with a big hello and our favorite server Tommy was very helpful. Her attention to our meal was great. It was very good: cheeseburger for him and sweet potato fries still sizzling, for me.

It was a run of the mill burger. Nothing bad, nothing spectacular.I don't have any complaints however, I won't go out of my way to go either. The plus was, having the option of a beer with my burger and they have several choices of Dublin sodas so there is that unique option.

Incredible Burgers ? ? for our family. Bacon Jalapeño Cheeseburger and Sweet Potato fries completed my day. Definitely a place to treat yourself, family, and friends. River Oaks best place to eat for everyone.Paul Acosta

Everything about the food was excellent except for the price. While not rediculous comparing to other burger joints, still a little on the high side for me. A good burger, fries and a regular drink should not exceed $10. Having said that, I will be going back. The food was amazing.

I will be trying this place again maybe it was an off day. I overall liked it. The interior has a rustic feel that's cool but, there was rust where the drink station is all on the table so once you fill your drink you almost have to set your cup in rust to put a lid on. It took about 10 minutes to get my food not too bad considering they said it would be 15 minutes. The burger was good but it didn't seem like anything special. Hopefully next time will be better.

Food was good, everything tasted fresh. Wasn't a fan of the soda, it seemed more sweet than regular soda brands. Loved the fries!

Once again Grumps Burgers did not disappoint.We visited the River Oaks location and on this day they were hosting a classic car drive in.The restaurant was extra busy because of the event. With that being said, it was still only about a 12 minute wait well worth it.All it takes is one visit and your hooked for Life.Oh and don’t forget about the free peanuts that you can get and eat right at your table and put your your peanut shells in a bucket.

So I have been to Grumps on more than one occasion, and each time I've been there, the food has been wonderful. But today, I'm not sure what happened, but my food was undercooked. I got the queso burger. When I bit into it, all you could see was pink. I really wanted to vomit. I was really upset because that was $13 gone to waste, and I couldn't take it back because I was already back at work from my lunch break. Although I really do like Grumps, I'm was not happy with my food today. I put two photos on here to show how undercooked it was. One picture has the flash on and the other one does not.

I have been there 5 times. Wait time for the food is slow unless you have an hour to eat a burger for lunch. My last visit, they were out of beer so I had the cashier refund my card and went elsewhere. Well the cashier only credited back the beer and not the whole meal. Did not notice till I checked my account.

Food was amazing I’ve never had fresh potato chips before and I was not disappointed when I tried them the burgers are tasty fries are fantastic atmosphere gives it a Texas Roadhouse vibe but 10 times better definitely a must try if your in this part of Fort Worth

HOLY SMOKES!!!!! SUPER DELICIOUS!!!!! It was our first time there, and it dud not dissapoint! We kept seeing it on a Facebook group and we had to try it. We arrived and you dirst have to get inline to place your order, the have a nice variety of burgers sandwiches and sides. They also have beer on tap and what seems to be local sodas. You place your order and give them your name. You then look for a table and a nice waitress comes by to ask if you'd like peanuts while your food is prepared. I got the Queso burger my wife got the avocado burger. For sides we got spicy fries, dirty fries and we had to try the corn nuggets! The meat was well cooked and juicy. Everything was super delicious I could not stop eating those corn nuggets! All in all I would 100% recommend anyone stop by and give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!!! This is our new favorite burger spot! I forgot to take pictures of the food because I could not stop eating from how delicious it was!:)

First time was very good, tried to eat there again was met at door and told they had closed early due to staffing. The restaurant didn't have as many customers in it as it did the previous visit. Very disappointed!!!

Second time there. I like the place, good location and parking, service is very good. Burgers are good size and children like it but my recommendation is that the ground meet need more seasoning.

The burgers were great as were the peanuts and onion rings. Our server was friendly too. The fried pickle slices have a good flavor and awesome texture, but were too salty for us to enjoy more than a few.

If you haven’t tried Grumps, you are missing out. Their burgers are custom made to your liking and never fail. So good!! Staff is always super nice.

These are delicious! The atmosphere is clean and hip. The music is spot on.( Classic rock and country) Everything we ate was great! Staff is friendly and helpful.Great onion rings, super fries, and crunchy,delicious corn fritters!!!I will be eating here a lot!!

Got the bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños. Was awesome! You have to try their jalapeño ketchup. So good. Had to buy a bottle to bring home. Can get busy and have trouble finding a place to sit but overall great experience. Definitely going back soon!

Wasn't informed that burgers were fully customizable, including seasoning until after I received my order. For a average price of $15 per person, other burger restaurants do better at either price or food taste.

Love the atmosphere and the service. Ordered the regular cheeseburger with homemade chips. Absolutely delicious. This place just opened and I was the crash test dummy for my family. Glad to say we have a new place to eat close to home.

Ate at Grumps, River Oaks location. First time at any Grumps. THE best burger I've ever eaten!!! Big, juicy, full of flavor...cooked PERFECTLY!! Fried jalapeños are delicious!!! French fries are perfect!!! Service and friendliness is priceless!!! Great food, great service and all at a great price!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! You won't be disappointed!!!!

I'd give it a perfect 5/5 across the board if anything other than the hamburgers were as good as the hamburgers are.It's a great place. So glad they moved to River Oaks. However, my knock is that everything from the fries to the chips and queson are essentially slightly better than movie theater quality; while the burgers are spectacular and well priced.

Love Grumps always will get a good burger ? onion rings are to die for! However, lately I can’t seem to get my order correct like Griffs down the street what’s happening Grump’s I ask for no seasoning added mushrooms and that’s not what I got. You charge extra for something shouldn’t I get it. I was at home by the time I figured it out but, please do better your a local staple. I just want my burger with mushrooms and onion rings not fries xo ? your favourite customer

Was my 1st time there. Definitely returning. Amazing food for good prize. My 1st option that day was dominoes; but the 1 I went was horrible service and overpriced. This was my 2nd option and I'm glad to discover this place

I loved this spot. My husband took me for an early valentines day lunch and I'm so glad we stopped. The chips and questions are so good and the guacamole burger is awesome!

I've had many good burgers. These are great. Good flavor. The workers are great. Even before knowing I'm the dad of one of the cooks the customer service is amazing. Works for me. I call up there. Put my order in. Stop in to pick on everyone ??? and pay. Very great place to eat and I can see great place to work.

I was excited to finally try Grumps, and it was a let down. Don’t get me wrong the fries were good and everything was fresh and the ranch was homemade (a little to runny in opinion) it just didn’t live up the the hype. I ordered a guac burger, fries, drink and a kids meal and it was $21. I got my my food to go but my burger came with nothing on it, that wasn’t how I ordered it and I already left so I had to deal. The meat paddy didn’t seem like it was season at all and was slightly dry. Furthermore, it had it a ton of gristle in the meat and it was very unpleasant to chew and eat. The drinks were a small town Texas brand and it was fun but I just wanted normal coke, although the root beer was very good. I’m glad they offer peanuts even though I wish they were salted and not plain because the wait to get the food was kind of a long time. Id give Grumps another go but was disappointed.

Fresh to order burgers that will leave you feeling super stuffed!!Excellent food, excellent service and a really nice atmosphere!! Doesn't leave you smelling like grease or burgers when you leave, which is a bonus IMO! Nice and clean inside.***Nut allergies Beware - they do serve peanuts for snacking. They have a warning sign before you enter.

Big, thick patties. Always hot. Peanuts for the table. Counter service. Great laid back seating. The only thing I don't like is they only serve Dublin fountain drinks which means no Diet DP and limited other flavors. I wish they would just sell canned sodas so I could get my favorite drink.

Was disappointed that the burger didn't have much flavor. The sweet tea and onion rings were good. Staff was friendly. The table had crumbs like it hadn't been clean and it was a Wednesday evening so they weren't busy.
