Trailboss Burgers

I bought the mushroom Swiss burger and I have to say, I was quite disappointed. The cheese was cold, not melted, so when I cut my burger in half to eat, it started falling apart and the meat slid out the bun. Not the worst tasting burger, but not the best. Only upside was it was normal priced despite being in a tourist area.Thankfully the fried pickles and coleslaw was good.My waitress was friendly and attentive lady.

The hamburger dishes were phenomenal. Absolutely cooked to perfection. The french fries that came with them were mediocre at best. They reminded me of the frozen or ride a potatoes that my mom used to stick in the oven when I was a child.We receipted quickly, waitress took our orders promptly. Food came out relatively quick. All of our food was fresh and hot.No pictures. We Dove right in

Probably the worst food I have had in Stockyards. The burger was just awful. My daughter ordered catfish basket and it too was bad (all mushy). Told the manager it was bad. The reply was, oh I will let them know. I do not recommend this place

Trailboss is a great spot while visiting the Stockyards. The food was delicious and has great options for our young kids! Our sever Christine was phenomenal! She went above and beyond for our family. She was funny, kind and meticulous. She was great with our children. We would go back to just have Christine as our server again! Greats service and great food can’t go wrong !!

Quite possibly the worst hamburgers I’ve eaten. We had four different burgers, all of them were dry and flavorless. $80 to walk away feeling like we just ate cardboard in a hamburger bun.1-Star for the appetizer potato chips, they were delicious. 1-Star for our waitress Melanie, she had a great attitude and was friendly.***No we did not ask the staff to correct it because it took so long getting the first order that we had no intention on waiting for a redo.

Bison burger is delicious and it’s probably the only reason I’ll be back. Cons were a couple that includes service, management and wait time.Service was atrocious, at one point, I waited 10 mins before seeing my server. I ended up getting my own refill. Overall wait time to be sat and getting our food and leaving was nearly 2 hours. They were not busy (many tables oven) and did not look to be short staffed. This is more of a reflection on management in my opinion.Hopefully if you visit, its a better experience than I had.

We just saw this joint upon visiting stockyard so we decided to try. We ordered Mushroom Burger and th Wrangler Burger. Both are good choices but pair it with fries because I don't like their beans. Joss served well in our table. We're going back definitely in the future.

Great spot my family went and threw down our food hit one of the best Buffalo sandwich I had in a minute my daughter loved her corn dog and Mac n chess n my wife enjoyed the burger and the staff was awesome shadow was our waitress and was amazing will be going back

A friend told me about the great fries this place serves, so she and I had a late lunch here during our assignment at the Stockyards. The burger, I feel could've been a tad bit larger. But it and the crispy crinkle-cut fries were very good.

This place is my favorite place to get a burger in Ft. Worth- also… the Texas Twister.. I dream about it..so yummy and simpleBest burger place in Fort Worth. 100%I always order the ‘Wrangler’ which is a burger with string fried onion. I’m drooling just thinking about it.If you want a good Fort Worth dining experience.. go to Trail Boss Burger.

Went there yesterday for my sons field trip. Tried the burger and the cheese appetizer! Great food! And my waitress Mel is amazing! Such a sweet soul. I’ll be back soon to try more of the food!

It’s Risky’s but with burgers. Everything is Risky’s. The drinks are Risky’s, the service is Risky’s, the quality is Risky’s, the whole thing is just Risky’s. But with burgers. The burgers were alright, just like Risky’s. The service was alright, just like Risky’s. Have I emphasized it enough to? Do I recommend it? Well yes but only if you do not want to wait long because Risky’s is filled up.

Erika provided great service. The entire staff was friendly actually- best in the Stockyards. Food was tasty. Jalapenos weren't spicy to us, but maybe for others they would be. Burgers were good. Drinks stayed filled. Would recommend.

Food plate was not what I expected. Portions were very limited. Not a good presentation. Fries had no flavor. Fish portions were very small. Appetizers were not good at all. The only thing going for them was the service. The server made the experience worth my time there. He was very nice, attentive and knew his job.

I had the Gaucho burger. Which was good but though there would be more fried jalapenos on it. You do get a good portion of fries. We sat outside which wad nice given the weather. My wife had the mac n cheese as her side, its not worth getting. Just get the fries.

We all ordered hamburgers, and they were great. FYI, you can't get it cooked any less than medium. The Mac n cheese I would stay away from. It was like a watery kraft Mac n cheese. Great location at the FW Stock Yards. It's affordable and a place we do when we hit the stock yards.

Great staff! Truly a great hard working and attentive team. I never had to ask for a refill of my drink…it just appeared! Thank you Riley!Make sure to request your burger bun to be grilled .When a burger is juicy and if has your favorite spread the entire consistency of the burger changes for the worse because the bun becomes mushy.This place could benefit from the addition of pretzel and brioche buns for their impressive burger menu.

We came to the stockyards for the first time in 10 years living in DFW. It was extremely busy, but the restaurant was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The food was decent, the Texas twisters circular potato chips and onion strings were great, the BLT was good, and the burgers were OK, a little over cooked, but edible. The staff, ambiance, and patio were the best. We got to watch the cattle drive from the table, luckily the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. It's a good spot with average food and great service from what we experienced.

Just because of one detail, the hamburger was not very cold and, worst of all, the attention of the Manager asking why we said that the hamburger was cold and touching the food with his dirty hands and treating us very badly, instead I congratulate the waiter, he behaves better than the Manager should consider the change as a comment only thanks

Large portions and delicious ranch dressing. The burgers were a little dry. The fries were not ask crispy as I like. The onion strings were a good starter. The Mac and cheese is good too. Ok for a first visit but I would choose other options next time.

This place has a phenomenal burger. I've been to a lot of burger places here in Texas and this ranks up there with some of the best.It's located in the stockyards of Fort Worth in side the train station.If you have a hankering for a delicious burger with reasonable prices, $13, then stop on on and have a bite. You won't regret it.

This place has amazing burgers. The Wrangler is a must have. The staff are all nice and they have inside and outside seating. If anyone likes milkshakes as much as I do, they are really good here as well. The quesadillas are also to very good. The atmosphere feels like old western saloon.

Originally wanted to go to the BBQ place across from there, but they had a 45 min wait and this place had none. It turns out they are owned by the same people. The appetizer was some kind of potato twists that had really good seasoning. The burger was very pleasing, and it probably came from the longhorns across the street. The facility needed some TLC, but otherwise it would be 5 stars. Prices were fair.

My companion and I stopped at this burger joint at the Fort Worth stock yards on July 22, 2021. I have been to Risky's several times over the years and I NEVER realized they had a location dedicated especially to hamburgers. After getting greeted by our server and placing our drink order we decided to start off our dining experience this with an appetizer of chili cheese fries. The cheese fries were an excellent choice to start off our meal this evening, between the melted cheddar and the chili plus not to mention the crinkle cut fries which are one of my favorite cut of fries my taste buds were just enjoying the moment. We were about half way finished with our appetizer when the server came back with our hamburger order. My companion ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger while I myself ordered The Herd, which consists of a quarter pound hamburger with all the fixin's and American cheese I added bacon to my hamburger for a small additional fee. Both of our hamburgers came with plenty of fries on the side. Needless to say both of us did not finish all of our meals and leftovers for later that evening. This was my first experience at Trail Boss burgers and it was a pretty pleasant one to say. I would suggest that if you are ever in a mood for a great tasting hamburger and a choice of awesome appetizers head out to Trail Boss and give them a try I'm pretty sure you will find something that you'll like.

The outdoor seating was perfect for lunch. Our burgers were very good. We "upgraded" our fries to chili cheese fries. Glad we did as they were quite tasty. The service was relaxed, unpressured and friendly.
