Love Shack

Disappointed with our burgers this time. Dry and without flavor. The bread kept falling apart, I'm assuming it was stale. Burgers are usually great.... not this time

While waiting for a show at the Coliseum, we had lunch at this bar. The food was nice, but the atmosphere was really great.

My favorite- the Amore Calienteburger patty w/ poblano chili, guacamole, pepper jack & lettuce on a flour tortilla. So very Texas!

Meh. None of the cheese was on my burger, it was all melted to the wrapper. The patties are pre-made. And they taste it. The fries have 0 seasoning and you pay $4 for a water. Spend your money elsewhere.

I like this place for burgers, in the Stockyards. I always get the Dirty Love burger for the egg. It tastes good, but it's also relaxed and good for eating outside.

Cold beer and amazing onion rings. The burgers aren't as great as I had been told, but were ok. Nachos as pretty dang good, also. The view of the street from the 2nd floor is entertaining.

Long wait for food as someone with a camera came thru after us and got their order before 5 families that were there first. The onion rings were great, burgers were just burgers. Another Love disappointment. Probably will not return as there are many restaurants to choose from in the Stockyard that have good food.

Love this place, great to people watch. If you are lucky enough to nab a seat on the upper deck you will probably get a show.

We enjoyed the Love Shack! If you like greasy burgers, flies and a chill place to hang out, it's got a nice laid back feel. I thought the spot was really cool. There wasn't a band while we were there but they were setting up so that might have even been better. I don't like self service personally but they were pretty quick with the orders. I can see myself craving a burger from there one day again.

Worst hamburger I ever ate! The bun tasted stale and it barely had any sauce on it. The onion rings were good and the service was great; hence the 3 stars. This would only be a good place for having drinks. The location and balcony are great!

I was there yesterday and only got nachos $8, chicken $9, fries $4 something and a cheeseburgerMy total was $30 … checked my bank account the girl charge to my card $41.36 ? that’s not nice at all charging behind costumers back

The menu invites you in but the food will usher you out. This is a classic “bait and switch” situation. I ordered the quail egg burger and had to take it back to the window so the cook could help me find it. These burgers taste like microwaved McDonalds, pitiful. The odors from the restrooms fills the dining area while you wait an hour for a let down deluxe. Plenty of other good places to eat in the stockyards, nothing to see at this joint.

Onion rings are to die for! The whole menu is excellent but the atmosphere alone is what tops off the experience. Live music (even mid day) with outdoor seating. It's tucked between two buildings but there is an upstairs seating area. It's a great place for family. Root beer on tap. Food is made to order so it's always fresh and even when they are slammed the food comes out fairly fast. Great location close to the arena and Cats stadium. Whether you're a local or visiting this place is a must!

Employees were incredible. Professional. Burger meat delicious. Bun alittle hard. Grease for fries fresh definitely....but asked for crispy fries n received soggie ones. Sweat tea Awesome

The patio was great but that was about it. I had high hopes for the food but they did not meet expectations. The burger was dry and much smaller than expected. The fries had good flavor but cold. My order consisted of two bags but when my number was called was only given one. Didn't realize it until I got back to my table and saw I was missing food. They also had live music playing which normally would be nice but it was way too loud. We couldn't even have a conversation with people sitting directly in front of us. A table next to us but closer to the stage ended up moving when another table opened up because the sound was deafening. I would not return.

Great outside area and stage - but I’m not a fan of the love sauce on the burgers- it’s got a strange taste to it - like they added curry. Fries were good - if you’re coming during COVID, beware because the chefs were not wearing their masks correctly (nose out), and only had one glove on - saw him touching burger buns with a bare hand. Cash only was a bummer as the ATM charged a 3.95 fee. Good place for beers, but get your burgers from the Shake Shack right next door.

Love the atmosphere of this place. It’s a two story outside bar and patio with burgers and beer (yes they have a veggie burger!)They have live music quite a bit, but it’s always the same guy playing so I’m not sure if they ever have different acts.This place is good to grab something quick to eat and have a beer or two.They do need a new way of making sure people get the right orders though, the mic system they use to call out the food numbers is terrible.But I’ll be back because hey, cheap food and beer!

Very meh. Boring thin patties that were probably frozen longer than the cow was alive. They don’t make shakes anymore. Could have found that out if the website’s links didn’t all take you to the same empty page. Fries are good. Cute cat.

Pretty decent burger a little on the small side but tasty overall.it as far as a unique flavor of seasoning but it gave it a good taste.the onion rings on the other hand left a lot to be desired they are basically a hot version of the type of crispy onions you put on top of a casserole. Overall it was a decent lunch but not sure if I would make my way back.

Not as good as the pictures, my burger was dry and the egg was burnt, not cooked as the picture, fries where burnt and dry like eating cardboard. For the price there are better alternatives. Only good thing is they have alcohol and outside seating. Kinda dispointed in quality of food.

We were disappointed with a Tim Love restaurant. The Love Shack was much better when it was in Denton. Expected better quality burgers. Menu online has different prices as what was charged. Could really clean up the trash off the roof.

Seriously my absolute fave at the Stockyards. Good burgers and fries and cold beer. Often live music on stage and the atmosphere is great. CASH ONLY so bring cash unless you wanna use the ATM.

While walking through the stockyards we stumbled across the Love Shack. They have a walk up bar where you can grab a beer and continue your journey around the stockyards.

We love the Love Shack! The burgers and fries are yummy and the drinks are cold. Brad Hines plays guitar and sings and gives the Love Shack a fun environment. It's very low key and a lot of fun!

CASH ONLY! We went during the day. Great burgers and nice atmosphere, the fries were super thin but if you like that style then they were pretty good. There is an ATM next to the building which is nice since they do not accept cards. There is also a stage where they have live music.

All I can say is...AMAZING! The burgers are hands down one of the best I've ever had. The ambiance is awesome, set between two buildings, it's unlike anywhere I've ever dined. The Love in the Boom Boom is where it's at!!!! Must go!

It was a good burger but nothing spectacular. The atmosphere and live music is the main reason to eat here. Go on a nice day as it is all outside dining.

Amazing burgers and ice cold beer! Very unique atmosphere. There is not a lot of seating for large parties except on the lower levels, so beware if you're planning on coming as a large group. The rest of the seating is setup like a deck/patio that overlooks the lower areas. If you go on a weekend be prepared for at least a 15min wait for your order.
