Update: What's up with the chili fries recipe? Did it change? This one had an unpleasant star anise hint to it, supposed to be California style, not Pakistani. I was a huge fan of this!! My son ordered the seafood combo, and while the fries were generously seasoned, they lacked flavor. Weird! What seasoning was that??Also, what's with the consistently lazy attitude from the young ladies taking orders? Every time, it's like they're annoyed just to do their job! They need some basic customer service skills and a smile. Anyway, not worth the drive anymore.Old review: The menu has a ton of items, like got daaaaam!!!👌 Ill be coming back several times to try different items for sure!

First time there. Had the philly cheese steak. It was great. Ordered a small fries and it was more than I could eat . Just great food and fast service!

I was not impressed at all. Who puts cheddar cheese on a patty melt. And the biscuits and gravy has cut pieces of Italian sausage in it instead of breakfast sausage. Best thing I had was the soda and fries. To make it worse there's a sign that says no refunds or exchanges. Might as well say eat at your own risk.

I have to say I wasn't impressed by the burger or the fried mushrooms. Burger was mostly bun. It was decent, but nothing I'd go out of my way for. The fried mushrooms were soggy as if the grease was dirty. The ranch was not good, unfortunately. I'd come again if I was in the area. I'd like to try some other menu items.

I would give a 5 star only because their food is good and customer is great , but today I got a plate of enchiladas with rice and beans and the beans were expired. They tasted so bad I had to spit the food out into a napkin. It scares me come as I don’t want to get sick because the food being past due . I really hope they check their food before serving it to the customers.

Tried the Garden Heaven Omelette the other day & my mind was blown away, the seasoning is on point, the ambiance is great, & the service is amazing with super friendly people and the owner is a sweetheart. Do not pass up on XL California Burger Company, this restaurant is a hidden gem.

Have you ever thought you have found the perfect burger at one of those fancy billion dollar chains? This place will knock your socks off with taste and portion size. I've been here a total of 3 times and ordering something different every time, hoping to experience the magic like the first time, and I'm never disappointed. From the burgers to the sandwiches to the amazing sides! It's one of those places you hear about on TV and put it on your bucket list.

It is very pleasant being there. They are fast prompt foods never really expensive very delicious. It was worth going in a different selections Fridays of food to eat took my sister there and I was very happy in all soul. The staff are a friendly and helpful so it's worth going over there. I would recommend plenty of room plenty of time like I said they are very quick thank you.

I love this place to death, anytime I’m missing home! The chili cheese fries slap like Tommy’s, and the pastrami is top notch. Can’t get enough of this place

Excellent variety of flavors available and great food quality! I stood for almost 15 minutes trying to decide on just 1 thing to try my first time here. I went with the King Kong Burger combo because of the name alone and was pleased to find out that it has pastrami and ham on the burger! Generous amounts of expected veggies and sauce to make sure you get everything that's on the burger in every bite. The only complaint I have is very minor as the size of the patty (thickness) wasn't what I expected but the taste was more than sufficient to overcome that. I'd happily trot over there again for another menu item.

This place has gone down from 4 yrs ago. They need to hire a better cashier. I think she's a mute. Not very helpful and she doesn't wear a mask yet they require masks for patrons. It's dirty and they don't sanitize or clean in between customers as stated my table and seats were dirty. Cheese wasn't melted on my chili fries who does that? The only thing I like is it's not a chain ,has a big menu with a variety of foods and thrifty ice cream. Very disappointed this visit. ?

I like thier breakfast, prices are not outrages. I tried thier Philly cheese steak, wasn't all that. Very clean sitting area, TV has the news on. They have an available restroom. Drive tru available.

My husband Angel and I frequently come here for breakfast and coffee. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection and the girls that work there always go out of their way to make sure there is fresh coffee and the place is extremely clean we love coming here on a weekly basis.

The place is very convenient for workers especially drivers on break. Not your typical weekend family restaurant. The food is decent. XL California doesn't have anything on other fast food places.

Damn good burger. I got a double bacon cheese and a medium order of fries. I drove to my office, opened the bag and was shocked at the fries. The burger was cooled well and had a lot of flavor. The veggies were crisp and fresh. The woman who took my order was very patient and friendly. I will be back.

Now this place is a hidden gem. It is such a unique and interesting environment. They are welcoming to the work force and average person. For an extremely good price they will never overcharge you from what I've experienced. The only downfall of this place is that they don't have the best customer service. But everything else makes up for that and makes it an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend!!!

First time here, and probably my last. The service was fast but the food wasn’t the best . I ordered the chicken strips, fried mushrooms, and fried zucchini. Everything was way over salted, and the chicken strips were flat as pancakes and very crunchy. They also don’t have trays so you have to get every plate one by one and that’s really annoying too.

My family and I love this place! I drive about 25 minutes for their delicious food. We've tried different places and nothing is better than here. The girls and cooks are friendly, food is hot and delicious on the first try. We will always come back for more!

March 15, 2023 Today was porkchop dinner, 2 chef salads, and a club sandwich with fries. Very clean place. Helpful employees. Yummy drink selection. Can't wait to try more!Earlier:The Philly cheese steak was awesome. Fries are so good. Fast drive thru service.
