Blacow Burger - Fort Mill

The burgers and wings are fantastic. There seemed to be some staffing issues in n Friday night so it was very slow. The servers were very friendly and doing the best they could with being understaffed.

Food had very little taste. The onion rings were horrible-- rubbery and tough. Hamburger bun was crusty and hard on the bottom. Very disappointed and sharp contrast from previous visit.

Food was really good , the dining room was so hot , asked waitress to please turn the air conditioning up and they did ,waitress was really nice and helpful

I absolutely love this place! My husband and I get take-out from there probably once every week or two. He normally gets the Caballero burger and I get the Hawaiian burger. We both get onion rings and Bang Bang shrimp to share. EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD. We went to Ace burger in Charlotte recently as we had heard it was a competitor for "Best Burger' and, although Ace's burger was good, respectfully, I have to give the 'Best Burger" award to Blacow. Their drive-through option is convenient and we have considered asking for a bottle of their onion ring sauce.

Husband and I had an early dinner here a few days ago. I ordered the Swiss Fun-Ghi...it was very good. I would have it again. Husband had Caballero burger. He really liked the onion rings. We were satisfied with tbe bang bang shrimp as well. Yes, the air was broken....yes it was a little bit uncomfortable. The place was really clean and our waitress Hannah was really nice and attentive. She was able to assist us on any questions we had about the menu. We will return.

First time eating here. Inside was extremely hot. Alcohol was currently not available. Burgers are different than the norm but we're very tasty. Also noticed they have a drive thru ... Definitely will try again

It was different, being from the older set I wasn't sure what to expect after I ordered. I did enjoy my burger, and my son and daughter in law really enjoyed theirs. If you want new/different...give the Blacow a try.

The University location is better when it comes to the food, service, and cleanliness. I had to ask a waitress to wipe my table. Restroom had food on the floor. No sushi on the menu. Wings were the worst I’ve had in a while. The waiter was extremely chatty.

Gone down hill… waited 45 minutes for a burger and fries that were cold when i got them. Ordered medium well, and got medium rare on the rare side. Place just looked dirtier than usual. Not worth the effort.

The Blacow wagyu burger was full of flavor and delicious. It's easily a gourmet burger. Although I don't generally eat avocado, the tempura avocado was really good (and not slimy). I'll definitely return and try other burgers. The fries were just mediocre so next time it'll be the Brussels sprouts or sweet potato fries. Our server was attentive, helpful but not intrusive. Great casual dining with amazing burgers.

Burger was excellent, cooked perfectly. Low key atmosphere, but I was there after the dinner rush. Really interesting burger selection, and there are a lot of options besides the burgers, and the prices are on par with other non-fast food burger joints in the area. Waiter was funny and had some good stories as well.

I discovered this place on DD during a staycation in Fortmill, SC. I was in the mood for a burger but not a basic burger. I ordered the Nutty Goat and Brussel sprouts and Yo. Mind blown emoji! The burgers here are so good!! The best part is they have alternative options to sub beef like turkey and black bean burgers. I don't know what magic grill they use to cook the meat or what Pillsbury dough man they have in there making those buns but I'm hooked.. Since then, I've been back several times because wait for it....there's also a drive thru!!

The only reason I gave this place four stars instead of 5, is they do not have a beer/wine license. Nothing like a good beer with a tasty burger!!! Still delicious and I will go back.

I thought this place was pretty good. I ordered wings with a sweet chili sauce and enjoyed them very much. I also had the FROG burger and I found it to be quite tasty, sweet, and delicate. Friendly waitstaff. Many different burger and side dish options. I was pleasantly surprised.

This a fantastic restaurant but the last time my husband and I went they left off my burger, they bagged my husband's loaded fries sideways so it spilled everywhere and my fries were old and cold. We do often frequent this place so we'll be back but this last time was disappointing.

The service and the bang bang strip received the 3 stars. Since the pandemic the food in which to me was amazing went slowly down to basic. I know it's tough times for everyone. Believe me I get but when I pay for a great meal I expect a great meal that equals my bill.

I walked in for chili, it wasn’t sold as a regular side item on their menu so they accommodated me buy ringing me up for an item that was comparable in price, however it was cold as ice! I called back to inform them thinking customer service would be given but nope. Definitely won’t be going back based on customer service and cold food. The chili was definitely scoped out of the bucket from the refrigerator into a cup and served to me.

I don’t usually write reviews but this place is most definitely worth a try! On my way home to Florida and wanted a burger, this place did not disappoint in the least. Fries were excellent and the burger was phenomenal! Wonderful and messy just like you cooked it on the grill yourself. I will definitely make it a point to stop in next time driving thru.

My family just moved here a few weeks ago and I've been eying this place for a while and tonight we decided to finally try it. Firstly- $14 for the shrimp appetizer- $14 for 8 pieces of shrimp in sauce is baffling. They tasted great, flavorful but the portion for the cost is absurd. Secondly, the kids chicken tenders and fries- 3 small pieces of chicken and some over cooked dried out fries thrown into the box and $10 for it ... yikes. Again, portion to cost. I don't mind the cost if the amount or even quality of the food is worth it. Next, the Flaming Cow burger- cooked medium, added bacon, and a side of cheesy bacon ranch fries. $19 total- the only portion to cost that felt fair. However, the burger was flavorless other than heat from the spicy cheese. The patty was dry and the tomato was very thin and soggy. I loved the spice and the buttery bun. The fries were again over cooked but the bacon was perrrfecctttttt!!! Loved the bacon. The food came faster than expected- half the time in fact and I'm not sure if that should be acredited to our Door Dash driver Emily- who was amazing, or if the restaurant was very prompt or both-but overall the best thing about this whole meal- was the speed it was delivered. I'm pretty disappointed because if I wanted to spend $50+ on burgers I could get the same menu items at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar and be 4x as satisfied. Not thinking I'll be back.

Tried two of the burgers. The Blacow Burger was awesome as well as the Classic! Had the chicken club, that sandwich would make other restaurants cry. Biggest chicken breast I've ever seen on a homemade Brioche bun. New favorite in Ft Mill!

This would get 5 stars but I ordered a larger order tonight on 8/27. I specifically went in and reviewed my order. However my burger box was not marked wagyu.. I asked the young man was he sure my order was right and he assured me it was.. well I got all the way home and two burgers were wrong. The pattys were flipped. The wagyu that was medium was on the wrong burger. The Food was good but the staff clearly seemed to rushed to leave than to ensure my order was correct.. won’t be back to this location.

Start with the good. Service was great. But we don’t plan to come back anytime soon. #2 most important rule of a good burger is the bun, and ours where not fresh to really bad and the whole grain ones was uneatable. Patty was over done and was missing salt. The feel in the restaurant was dirty, our table was sticky. The cleanliness problem was verified when we when to wash our hands - it was VERY BAD. You know when it was not a good meal when they kids say the best thing was the fries. Sorry.

Ordered my burger with no avocados but it came with it anyway. Only ate a quarter of it it was so bad. I was never asked what was wrong with it or anything. If they are voted the best in Charlotte then there must not be any burger places in Charlotte.

Weird experience. Burgers were okay but extremely over priced. It wasn't very big or flavorful but still cost $15 for a burger. I can't remember the name of the one i ordered but it said it was spicy and that it had jalapenos on it. What they called jalapenos were basically funions. It had no spice to it whatsoever and was altogether bland.The interior was sparsely decorated, but the half walls had astroturf on them witch was super weird. All the tvs were blue toned to a ridiculous degree. I usually ignore tvs when i go places, but it was hard to ignore the bright blue of the tvs in a dimly lit restaurant. The fancy edison bulbs they used all flickered which gave me a headache. This place needs help.

Great burgers! Some of the best burgers in Fort Mill. We've been visiting this restaurant occasionally ever since it opened years ago and have never been disappointed with the food, environment, or service. They have some really unique burgers that are incredibly delicious. Their fries are great too. Everything is large portions so you get a ton of value for what you pay with respect to portions and quality, taste. They also have gluten free options too. Well worth going here. Highly recommended.
