Burgers are incredibly good but took forever to get on a weeknight. Super cool place with a great atmosphere and very little parking around so be prepared to walk.

Very good pub, there are some types of beer out of the ordinary... the sandwiches are very good... the price is very good for the quality of the products... CASH ONLY!But it's all good... the fries are dry and crunchy... delicious.

This is my favorite burger joint in San Diego. Hands down. Also my go-to on a Friday night. The menu doesn’t have a lot of options but what they do-they do absolutely right. First off, bring cash or use the atm outside. This is a cash only place. You have your choice of water, soda, or a great selection of beers. Hamburger or cheese burger, 1/3 or 1/2 lbs, lettuce tomatoes, pickles, raw onions, or grilled onions, bun or no bun. Hot peppers on the side. There’s sidewalk outside seating. There can be a wait in peak times but it’s worth every second.

Small menu. Big or small hamburger or cheeseburger. But damn they good. Service was awesome. Sat down and less than a minute later order was taken and beer was in front of us.

A San Diego institution and still one of my favorite burgers. The ingredients taste fresh and the patty is medium rare, flavorful and juicy. The fries are also very good. Don’t think you can find a better burger in this price range.

Our burgers came out about an hour after ordering, during a weekday night, while they were not crowded. They ended up being quite burnt and barely edible.

If you are looking for fancy don't go here. If you are looking for a great burger and excellent fries GO HERE. Staff was very nice and the beer was cold. I live in Pennsylvania and when we come to visit I make it a point to stop here.

Was on vacation & called in an order to-go after reading good reviews for burgers. The burgers & fries were straightforward & good. 1/2 lb burger cooked & seasoned well. Tomatoes, pickles, onions all fresh & crisp. This place is CASH ONLY! I missed that detail & while I was getting cash from the ATM outside another person hit my car in the 30- min pick up zone. Food is good but my only regret is wish I had known to bring cash to begin with.

Great burger rivals Cassidy's in Newport Beach. The bouncer is also a host and will get you seated. Everyone respects him and he's so nice.

It’s like a 3.75Love:Meat quality.Don’t love:Bottom bun completely destroyed by grease. Underseasoned. Could be more cheesy for size.Price: $9 1/3lbRec Level:Try it cause it’s famous. But I won’t be coming back anytime soon. Def not in my top 5 unlike every article posted about SD burgers. Yea I said it.Tip:Bring cash. Grilled onions are their only “secret” item you can add.

If you're looking for a traditional delicious savory classic burger, the this is your joint. Be warned, no customization is available on their items. They are also cash only. Don't expect much else from this place but beer and burgers. It is quite small and intimate but they know what they are doing when it comes to a great plain ol delicious cheeseburger.

Ive been going to Rockies for years and its always been a top for me. Took a date here in the middle of covid and despite covid restrictions we had an enjoyable meal in the makeshift patio. other customers were fun to talk to. it was clear everyone was there and enjoying themselves. Thanks again

This is a solid place with great burgers and drink selections to choose from. I would definitely come back again. When I was doing Uber years ago this was a popular spot to go to in the area and eating and drinking here for the first time was a great experience. They also have pretty good deals on pitchers, the key is to drink straight out of the pitcher so you can help save the environment. Anyways definitely would come back and this is my friend’s go to spot and he lives out of town but always goes here.

Everyone said this place was amazing but honestly didn't really feel as special as people made it out to be. To be honest waiting like 40 minutes at a place that only sells basic burgers and fries. There was loose dog going up to people wandering around the patio and they said nothing to the customer. Speed of service slow, service guy was super crabby, burger was good, fries mediocre.

Finally checked this place out after hearing many times they have the best burgers, but it was just OK and the fries were limp. Looks like a fun bar to hang out in outside of that and have a beer, but that's about it. One basket of fries can be shared with two people. Cash only.

Get here early. Place is small but fabulous and full of locals. Burgers are the best, the beer is cold and the staff knows everyone by name. Don't be intimidated by the lines, there's a reason for that, awesome food! But bring cash, no cards accepted here. Definitely a go to at the point!

Awesome small, no nonsense sports pub with a very limited menu. Burgers are excellent, very simple. Staff is friendly and helpful but the place does get very crowded and can be hard to find a spot. They do have some outside seating as well which helps with busy times, but that can fill up quickly too.I've noticed that it tends to clear out from the lunch crowd around 2pm on weekdays.

These burgers are delicious! They seem like the type of burger that my dad would’ve grilled in the backyard if he hadn’t left to get some Marlboros and never came back. It’s a no frill burger that is super juicy and done right every time. This will always be one my go to choices for a burger.
