Great place for lunch! Ordered the pesto chicken sandwich with a side salad. You could tell the pesto was freshly made and the chicken breast was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were fresh in the salad as well as the sandwich. Delicious zesty balsamic dressing. Sit down. Bright open atmosphere with attentive staff. It’s in a industrial area but don’t let that detour you.

The gentleman (who I believe is the owner) that was taking our order was awesome! So funny. When my husband asked what recommended, he said fish and chips. It was AMAZING!! I had the avocado BLT panini. The food and staff was so awesome we went back the next day!! Highly recommend!!

I really want to like this place and to support local businesses. Food is just OK, employees seem dis-engaged. It’s close to the office so I’ve stopped in a few times for a “quick” lunch but it’s never really that quick. I wish it was better has potential, but I don’t see it lasting that much longer.

Absolutely fantastic. Our paninis were great! This is a delicious respite in an otherwise pretty barren industrial area. Lunch specials were reasonably priced and were a phenomenal value for the food quality. The menu was very diverse for being fairly small. Staff was super nice and the place was clean and neat. Something for everyone. Will definitely be going back!

The best most creative Chicken Cacciatore, I've ever ate. The owner was very polite and made my daughter some toast pizza even thought it wasn't on the menu. Then delivered a cacciatore that would make Gordon Ramsey jealous.

We’ve eaten here four of the last five days and that’s only because we didn’t know about it in order to eat here on the first day. Every day, my husband and I have tried a new dish and completely pleased with every selection. Pictures attached are from the first meal. The portions are perfectly sized so that they’re filling but not stuffing.

We met some friends here for a late lunch, and are we glad!We'd driven past here numerous times, one of those Let's-try-that-place-someday things. Today we finally got around to it.We've been missing out! Riverbend Bistro is a delight. The menu is pretty straightforward, with some interesting twists on old favorites.Asking Dita, our hostess, for suggestions, she recommended the fish & chips, which I tried. Fabulous! (See photo.)Others in our party had a variety of choices, and everyone was happy about it.We tried desserts -- red velvet cake and coconut cream cake. Wow. I'll need to fast for a week to pay for that, but worth every calorie.Friendly ambience, reasonable prices, great food, and an easy drive from my house -- about all I could want. Can't wait to come back.A word about Dita. She's very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and patient. Really brightens up the place.Give Riverbend a try. The excellent reviews are well-earned.

Moroccan chicken was absolutely AMAZING, to-die-for. Rice was perfect, and the mint or basil they add to the tomato was incredible.

Real food prepared by a real chef using fresh ingredients on a daily basis. A simple example, the fish tacos are made with real cod fillers not some frozen and overly battered scrod "whatever it may be be". The prices are very reasonable for the quality of menu options and its a local family run business, perfect!I've returned twice since writing the original review and it seems like the good word got out as its quite busy for lunch so I'd recommend to call ahead to ace your order if you're have a time limit. I've been there for a late lunch @ 2:30 and it was very relaxing with smaller crowd and classical music playing.

First try on this bistro. Ordered the Mustard and Beer entree, the fish had no flavor or seasoning and the batter was crisp but overcooked so the fish was crunchy. The fries were decent and even though this order was made while I waited. The fries were warm, not hot. Maybe a better experience dining at the bistro.

The chicken lemoncello was great. And the blue burger was very good also. Quality food reasonable prices. Great find. Well be back soon to try their breakfast.

Amazing food at an unbeatable price! It's really hard to say what food is best here, because all of it is amazing. I would compare this establishment to a La Madeleine, or Jason's Deli. However the food is a lot more fresh here and the chef prepares it very well.

This place was a great find! Right here in Richland Hills. We stopped just for a snack and had coffee and an apple pastry, both of which were fabulous,! There was soft jazz playing quietly in the background - very, very nice. It is a family run business and the owner came out and chatted with us. This place is very appealing on a number of levels. . . We checked out the menu thoroughly and will eagerly be back to eat here often.June 14 - an update . . . we went for lunch. I had the beef tacos (three for $7) and my husband had the chicken panini ($9). The tacos were most certainly a cut-above with avacado and carmelized onions - incredibly tasty and satisfying. The Chicken Panini came with a cone of seasoned french fries - very crispy and delicious. They were temporarily out of cod for the cod tacos . . . but we're going to back to try those for sure!

Google wins again with this super cute restaurant out in the middle of nowhere. This is not some place that we would have normally tried, but after a googling restaurants and it popping up and the food looking phenomenal we went. We were not disappointed at all. Even the kids gobbled up the food. They typically don't. They typically will take two bites and say they're done. There was not a french fry chicken finger, pizza, burger left on their plate. I highly recommend this random out of the way restaurant for excellent food.

Food was good but their website doesn't have a updated menu. I went wanting a certain idea and they said that was a old menu so they do need to update there site. Also called to see if they were open and nobody answered the phone.

What a gem this place is! Stumbled across it looking for a lunch spot one day. The Bisque selection is the best I've ever had, the paninnis are so good I've had 4 of them lol. This is my lunch spot 3 to 4 days a week. Love the service, atmosphere, everything about it!

Maybe we just went on an off night, but the quality of the food didn’t reflect the pricing. Everything was very bland and not very tasty. I was really surprised considering that this place has pretty good reviews. The food wasn’t bad, just very underwhelming. 3 stars for food; 5 stars for service.

The food was excellent but the service rubbed me the wrong way. This place is definitely not family/kid friendly. They only have one high chair and with our experience our family was seated first then shortly after another family came in also with a 2 year old and our waitress never offered us a high chair even though she saw us struggling to get our little one seated and she just catered more to the other family even though we ordered the same items and same group size ….. I will definitely eat here again I would just get it to go

We frequent Riverbend Bistro at least monthly, if not more often Their specials are truly special... limited in quantity but not quality. I recently enjoyed a wonderful King salmon... the portion was large enough I had left overs. We appreciate chef Sage and Goni's attention to detail. The adage "you eat first with your eyes" is true. Presentation is colorful and artfully done. And, the first taste that follows the feast for your eyes never disappoints.Standing menu items are gussied up a bit seasonally. Sauces and flavor profiles change through out the year on standard proteins such a chicken, tuna, salmon or a simple steak. Burger offerings change up a bit too.Riverbend is BYOB, making it easy on the pocket book. Outside seating is now available too.. a wonderful addition now that Fall is around the corner.Thank you chef Sage Sakiri for your commitment to East Fort Worth and for sticking it out during this pandemic.

I was blown away by the exceptional quality of the food. We ordered from the dinner menu. My guest had salmon, I had the shrimp. Both were excellent. They also have a taco and burger menu to choose from. I may try those next time. There WILL be a next time because this is a wonderful casual place to eat really well prepared food in a casual atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Wow!!! My sister and I went to look at countertops and stopped by for lunch. My sister had fish tacos and I had Ahi Tuna. It was cooked perfectly, awesome quality, and so many complimentary flavors. I will be back!

Great food! Was my first time going..it was a chicken dish...chicken limoncello? But the chicken was perfect and the sauce wa as sooo smooth and creamy served over bed of flavorful rice with spinich....only thing is with a dish like that you need toasted bread to get all of the flavorful sauce. I asked and they obliged!..I will definitely be back!

Overall the atmosphere when you walk in is great; the drive up is BFE in the middle of no where by the warehouse district of handly ederville road. Now don’t let the drive scare you this gem is in a land of it’s own for good reason. A foodies dream is a chef who cares and show you entertainment on the plate and in your mouth. The appetizers were something out of a Michelin Star restaurant crunchy, sweet, acidic, spicy all in one bite. Crab cakes were some of the best I have ever eaten and I would go back just for those. We were suprised we went on a Friday and it was dead but this intimacy was clouded by the tv and fluctuating music. The atmosphere was a three the food up to the point of dessert was a 5. But the dessert was a solid 1 due to the fact the brûlée was chewy and the creme was not proper custard it was more like pudding. The price was not like Olive Garden but we were full for the $50 price tag. We would still come back for brunch but we would never do dessert again.

Had the Chicken Cordon Bleu. It was good. Prices were within an acceptable range. Open atmosphere and friendly staff. 2nd time there...will go again! Newest review: Have been there quite a few times. Never had anything I didnt like. Today I had the mustard and beer battered cod. It was so tender it melted in my mouth!

My wife and I have really enjoyed having such a nice restaurant so close to our house. During our most recent trip, we had the baby spinach salad and the chicken sandwich. The food was great! They have a wide range of options on the menu and I definitely recommend checking them out. Sorry for the picture of my smashed chicken sandwich, I grabbed it before I took the picture :)
