Birra Burger

Ordered through doordash. I have to say, this place is amazing. So glad we didn't order from a typical chain restaurant. Will definitely be visiting in person next time!

I tried this location for the first time on 01-11-22 via Uber Eats. I'd been working a lot & really didn't have time to cook. I ordered the birra burger w/no bun, sweet potato fries, and the sidekick plate.I enjoyed the burger & fries that night. I could not eat all of it at once. There were plenty of fixings on the burger that not having a bun didn't impact the taste. I ended up nibbling here and there.I ate the sidekick plate the following day as a snack while working. Everything was good, the cheese & crackers, almonds, olives, & the grapes. I'm not a fan of seedless grapes, but the grapes were very sweet which is not always the case. Would order from them again.

Birthday burgers, my wife had the Birra burger, I had the Inevitable burger. Both cooked perfectly, quality beef, not fatty at all. Started with the fried pickles,usually spears are not my fried pickle of choice, but they were cooked well and held the batter. Definitely worth a try.

I have to say that the burgers were good but the tiny side of onion rings that were a big upcharge weren't worth it at all. The Cole slaw was average and not very cold.

Our family of four really enjoyed eating here. We got a couple of burgers and chicken tenders for the kids. All of the food was super tasty! And then all of the games available to play at our table while we waited were so cool! We will be back again.

We LOVE Bira! Always a lovely atmosphere and cozy. Not to mention the staff is always kind and friendly.The burgers are the absolute best in charlotte, by a long shot. Fresh and flavorful! You definitely need to come try it out. You won’t regret it!

I was in the area and decided to try out Birra Burgers because I've passed by many times but never stopped in. Well today was my first visit and this place is as advertised. From the moment I walked in to the time I left, I felt appreciated and welcomed.I tried the Birra Birra burger with Parmesan Truffle fries and it's one of the best burgers I've had in Charlotte. Everything was fresh and well prepared, the fries were hot and seasoned well. This place definitely was a wonderful experience!Birra Burger has indoor and outdoor seating for your dining pleasure; the restaurant is well maintained, clean and the noise level is average. So you won't feel uncomfortable when enjoying your meal. I will definitely be back in the future so keep up the great work Birra!

My daughter and I ordered to go for the first time. Quick service and friendly and inviting customer service and atmosphere. Burgers and fries were hot and freshly prepared. I had the Philly Steak burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. My daughter felt the same regarding the Birra Birra Burger she ordered. Looking forward to trying other burgers from their menu.

Birra was really really good. First of all there couldn't be any nicer people working there. They were ready to please the entire time. The place itself is immaculately clean and bright and orderly. There's a front section for seating and there's a rear section with more seating and a help yourself soda fountain plus several beer taps (not self serve... darn). The food was delicious and you HAVE to have their Parm Truffle fries and their onion rings (though I'd say it's time to change the oil since they came out too dark which is when it's time to change it), they were great. I had the Forest burger w/ additional bacon and a Peroni beer since I was in an Italian place. My wife got their Chimichurri burger w/ Swiss cheese which was good but I think a better cheese would have made it better (maybe fontana or gouda... we'll try next time). My only critique is when our order was taken they did not ask how we would like the meat cooked (medium is perfect, imo) so it came out well done which has NO pink at all. Not a deal breaker and I recommend this place to everyone. We were too full for any desserts but next time we may just go in for desserts cause I'm sure they're good.

I'm hoping it was an off night, and there was enough variety that I'm willing to try again.I was eager to try a new burger place. Unfortunately, The meat on the burgers was completely flavorless, the pickles overpowered all other flavors including the chipotle mayo. The sweet potato fries were prepared well and I enjoyed them, but the parmesan truffle fries were pretty pedestrian with no hint of truffle.

Their focus is burgers. And they have a good draft selection most of the time, if you dine in. Although I always get takeout late evening and wish I dined in....each time.Overall - Aesome place. Good evening seating outside. Not much seating inside, but it works well with the location and sunlight. (They may have an indoor sunroom seated area, but I haven't explored the business fully either.They have a shelf filled with entertainment and games. The location is pleasing to the mind, and all of their food is made as best as it can be.

"Angus beef" was a dry. Took about 30 minutes to cook. So pre-order. In a small downtown of mathews. Parking is ok. Bathrooms clean. Good beer. Fries seem a bit luke warm and unsalted.

Unfortunately the burger was cooked beyond well done, not like they claim on the menu. It made it extremely dry and chewy (all burgers we ordered were overcooked). If the burgers would have been cooked correctly it would have been great. Also, their prices are quite high.

Came here for the first time and absolutely loved it. From the moment my daughter and I walked in we were greeted with smiles and the friendliest people that work there. I felt like they already knew us and were extremely welcoming. The burgers are absolutely delicious and lots of choices for anyone to make their perfect burger. My daughter loved their shake too and presentation was nice. Then there were the fries yummy yummy. They do also serve some good beers on tap too. Shakes, beers and burgers.... Wonderful!!!! Great place...good vibes.I highly recommend you check out Birra Burger. We can't wait to go back.

My wife and I had a date night late Friday night and went to Birra Burger for the first time. We didn't realize they closed at 9pm and arrived about 15 minutes before they closed. Great burger, friendly staff, and cozy spaces for a date night. We highly recommend.

My husband, toddler and I had an amazing experience at Birra burger last night! The gourmet burgers were European style - made fresh and very tasty. I had the hot lips and my husband chose the gyro one. My son had the kids hotdog with fries and he kept raving about how good it was. They even offered him ice cream on the house, which was a very sweet gesture! We will be back for sure. I suggest getting the upgrade to Parmesan fries, it was fantastic. Thank you so much.

This is my second visit and Birra Burger exceeded my expectations again. At first, I was a bit worried that this place might be another spirit and beer place. But I was wrong. Definitely a place to hangout with family and friends.The place is clean and staff are friendly. Food was fresh and hot. Music is a variety but fits the mood. Really slow during early dinner but I hope you get the chance to eat here.In picture - chicken pita wrap with fires. Mediterranean hamburger without olives with chili fies and fries topped with parmesian cheese.

Great burgers! I was really impressed with our visit to Birra Burger. They have an impressive array of burger options. The service was amazing, really had a family-run appeal about it. The restaurant, including the outdoor seating, was incredibly clean. The food was delicious, a nice thick and juicy burger patty that was seasoned to perfection. I'm not big into beers these days but I did notice, more so than other "burger bar" type joints, a decent selection. I will definitely be returning to Birra Burger, can't get that burger outta my mind.

This is the best burger I have ever had bar none. I mean, I make some mean burgers at home. But this was truly epic. These guys are great. Lots of great theme burgers. Great beer menu. Their fried pickles are some of he best I have ever had. Not little chips but whole spears. Excellent. Their French fries are excellent. Better than Five Guys by far... and that's saying something I like theirs. But these were amazing. If you are in the Matthews area stop in and try it.

The Mediterranean burger was amazing, yummy feta style cheese, (Halloumi) with Greek black olives, lettuce and a perfectly cooked burger on a yummy (potato style/sweeter) bun. We had ordered a side salad which was a good size and they brought our sweet potatoes fries in two separate baskets, generous portions. I had thought about (and asked about) the truffle Parmesan fries and they went ahead and made us a fresh batch and brought them to us anyway! We enjoyed our food very much and will definitely be back. The couple running the place was very nice and we enjoyed the music playing out on the patio. Such a sweet place right in Matthews! One of those places where you can tell they’ve thought of the small details like keeping towels and sanitizer by the door and plenty of napkins etc. Love it and will return!

Worst wait time at a restaurant I’ve ever experienced. Full disclosure the food was pretty good however the waiting time was ridiculous. Legit waited for an hour for the most basic plain burger on the menu. I literally watched people come in 5/10/15 minutes after me and got their food before me and even finished eating and left the restaurant while I sat and waited. I will say that the Main server was amazing. She was from what I could tell basically doing everything from orders to bagging to answering the phone, she was great.

my roommate and i came here after a long day, we had never been here before but wanted to get out of the house. i’m glad we landed on birra burger! they had the chipotle chicken, and i had the mediterranean burger. i also ordered some mac and cheese bites. everything was awesome, including the homemade ranch dressing, which they did not charge for! and definitely didn’t skimp on.the atmosphere is super nice too. great music, friendly staff, giant windows that let in a lot of light. my only complaint was the heat inside the building! but we did go on a day that there was a heat advisory, so i can’t fully blame the restaurant. this place is absolutely worth your time, and i can’t wait to go back!

Best Gyro I've ever eaten. Expect to spend between 15 and 20 dollars. Unbelievable beer selection and great service. Will highly recommend. Would give them 6 stars.

Great food, amazing atmosphere and very kind and friendly staff. I brought my kids for a quick lunch and loved my salad - so fresh and delicious and my kids loved their kids meals. My daughter tried a burger which was delicious. Also they have lots of games and fun things for the kids to do. Can’t wait to go back and try their burgers!
