Konjoe Burger Bar

So, my friend got some seasoned fries from here and it was one of the best that I have had in months. I haven't been here, but I am going to reserve time next weekend to visit this place. You have to try the fries.

I had the Spicy Fried Chicken Po Boy with Season Fries... Damn, it was good. I haven't eaten anything that big and crazy in a long time and it was totally worth it. On the night I was there, I was the only person there and people are seriously missing out. Maybe not a weekly thing, but I will certainly come again.

The burgers here have fried eggs and pickles. Some people like such combination, though I prefer regular burgers. In any case the burgers here are good to eat at least once.And this drink in the picture isn't beer, it is more like a sour sezzler. The drink isn't recommended.

Omg!!! So glad we stopped here today on our way back home (From out of town). These pictures don't give it justice. The burgers were made perfectly and that spicy mayo and house made rach was ? I got the MCB (Meat Cheese Bun) burger which is a double cheese burger...No Cap I ate tht burger in less than 5 min it was so good I just couldn't stop biting ? The fries were seasoned so good too I ate mine and most of my wife's ? and even though the shake is small and $8 it was well worth it! And the staff was amazing.

The pork buns here are really good. I actually think I liked the pork buns more than the actual burger. The truffle fries with their garlic sauce is also pretty good.

It used to have truffle hashbrowns and way better Buns. I feel like I got jipped, the quality of what I had a few months ago has diminished significantly. I honestly should have saved some time and got a fast food burger because thats the quality I experienced here.

Great juicy chicken burger, not too pricey for the quality. Burger and fry is like $13. Konjoe sauce good with the hash browns.Service is quick and friendly. Had our burgers out in a few minutes.Recommend.

I was super excited to try the burgers and pork buns and unfortunately they weren’t as tasty as they looked.The Konjoe burger lacked flavor even with the sauce. Pork buns weren’t memorable at all and there are better places for this.Service was pretty slow on a Sunday which is understandable since they had many orders coming in from online orders. The inside was pretty nice and clean which was fine for the wait.

Konjoe's Hot chicken sando was the real deal. It was one of the best in the bay. The new Po' Boy is not good, it's not even close to it. Please bring it back. Previously I've given 5 stars but this new review is for the Po' Boy. I was a regular customer, without the hot chicken Sando, I don't think will ever visit again.

Please bring back the Hot Chicken Sando! It’s nice to see new alternations, but at least give us the option to order the old classic flavor. Po Boy is okay, but Sando is the reason I come every week.

The staff was very nice. The food was disappointing. The burger was tasted a little bland and bunds were dry. The french fries were too salty. Specially the burger isn’t worth the price.

Pork buns were unbelievable ? cooked to perfection. The meat was so soft that it literally melts in your mouth. Hands down best pork belly I've ever had in my life. My wife tried the shitake burger and it was awesome too. I'm a big fan of Super Duper burgers but this place is by far better because the burgers and fries are not greasy at all.

I had ordered Hot Chicken Po Boy and Some Truffle fries. I really loved the Truffle fries…. It was super crispy. The Po Boy Chicken was tender too. I will definitely want to come back and try the other stuffs!

I will come often to support the business. For those who leave bad reviews and comments that's very mean doing so. Everyone has different taste about food. You like it, come back again. Don't like it go somewhere else. Why don't you cook your own meal instead to rely on other to cook for you without a consideration. For a 15 dollars burger with high quality ingredients and still complaint price? Go get a 1 dollar McDonald's instead, your choice. Make yourself a burger and see how much cost you without tax and rent and employee salary.I support not only local businesses but all businesses in the world where I go. Specially in this time we live in.Be kind and appreciate each other. Don't expect perfection

Had a konjoe burger to-go, tasted pretty well with the egg and the home-made sauce, the beef patty is also able to customize the cooking temperature which makes it pretty juicy and tender.Duck fat fries is average. Not too surprising.

Excellent chicken sandwich. Burgers are heavy but delicious. Order more cooked than usual, as they tend rare. Seasoned fries are solid

Great burgers for the price! You can make any of the burgers with an Impossible Burger patty. Fries have a good seasoning and the milkshakes, especially the cookies milkshake, are very satisfying.Restaurant is clean and the restroom is clean. Staff are generally helpful.

Our lunch was quite tasty, if a little on the expensive side. The smokehouse burger wasn't as greasy as I was expecting, which is a great thing, but I was disappointed that medium-rare is not an option.... Only medium+.I preferred the duck fat fries over the umami fries. The latter were good, but I was only able to taste a hint of potato in them.

I don't know why they totally changed their menu. I ordered the smokehouse burger and umami fries which IMO were not as good as their Konjoe burger and regular seasoned fries.

Why would you ever change the menu????It was my favorite burger place in Bay Area! You used to have amazing burgers exceptional fries and absolutely delicious pork buns. Now it’s just okay... It’s still fine but nothing compare to what it was before. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!Bring old menu back!!!!!

Their fried chicken sandwich is incredibly good, although a bit too salty. Recommended.HOWEVER, their burger is one of the WORST burgers I've ever had in my life. Insanely salty and grossly overpriced ($9.5 for a small quarter pounder with store-bought soggy buns). Felt like I hit my sodium limit for the next 7 days after eating their burger. Their fries tasted fine but still very salty.The 3 stars is for the fried chicken sandwich. Avoid their burgers at all costs.

Went in with no prior knowledge and we enjoyed ourselves. The menu is still limited due to covid? But we still consumed the Konjoe burger, friend says it was good. I had the spicy chicken, and it was very tasty. Fries were good. Sause is normal good. Would eat again. Indoor seating, with good amount outside. Enjoy!Only thing stopping 5 star would be price to size. Looking at around 14 per person for burger and fries. if the burger was one step larger it would justify the 10$ smash.

The Double Down burger here is excellent -- juicy in the center, crunchy on the edges (it's a smashburger), lots of gooey cheese, no unnecessary condiments, and a serious bun. The beef flavors are intense and have a lot of depth; I can taste a fair amount of beef fat. A+The OG fries are pretty good. They have a nice texture, and the seasoning has a pretty good flavor, but the amount of seasoning used was a bit more than I would have liked. The seasoning has a minor amount of heat (not enough to call it spicy), and I didn't want the spice flavor to mask the burger in any way, so I ate the burger and fries separately. Still good though. I will ask if they can do light seasoning on the fries next time.

I really don't have a chance to be in this area very often but then times I had, I would see it in passing. But this time I was able to go to Konjoe Burger.So after looking on their menu I decided on the mushroom burger and I added bacon which was soooooo good. Plus I added a half order of fries for $2, talk about the perfect amount. They do add a side of their special sauce that went perfect with the burger which was juicy, flavorful and wonderful crispy fries.

The burgers, chicken sandwiches, and fries are all delicious. And it's the only inexpensive restaurant of which I'm aware that uses pasture-raised meats.

Hoenstly my favorite burger place around here. Fries are perfect, burger buns are incredible, patties and sauce are great too. Hoenstly I'd go for their double cheeseburger for the optimal meat to bun ratio but their regulars are great too if you're not that hungry.

This place is really good; we've been there twice and the food has been delicious each time, and I look forward to going back!That being said... it would be nice if I got *the right* food. :P Both times I've ordered, I've received the wrong sandwich, even though the container is labeled as the one I ordered. My roommate hasn't had this issue, his order and any sides we get are always correct.Everything is well-cooked, flavors are great, and the staff is professional and friendly, in our experience... it'll just be nice to get the *correct* order, at some point (I hope). ?

The service was quick. The food is tasty. I was worried that konjoe sauce was a codeword for thousand island, but it's actually a sweet sauce with a pretty delicious flavor.

Their standard Konjoe burger, is THE best ever burger i can recall... i was bummed when i found out the location in the market over by St James park closed, but it's worth the trip. my new favorite burger of all time..

Tried for the first time and really enjoyed this burger. Had the double and it was cooked really well and tasted great. Very filling. Definitely coming back.

Got a chicken katsu burger and it was not my favorite. The hot version of the katsu burger though was good. The chicken was tender and juicy but the rest of the ingredients were blah. For all this, a $13 for a burger is a bit much. Also, they have a guest WiFi but won’t give out passwords even if you are a paying customer apparently. Really? Probably won’t go back unless it’s the last option.

I’ve been here multiple times and I love the food! Grass fed beef, local produce, non GMO everything! You really taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The Konjoe burger with pickled jalapeños and a fried egg is my favorite burger of all time. I would visit their SAP and Levi’s Stadium locations when they had games and events. Just the best
