We have been here for over a month now ever since Grub Burger Bar got replaced, and my oh my!Parking: Busy parking here in the Lawrence Shopping Center.Customer Service: The staff is really nice and repeated my order to make sure they get our order correctly.Best Part: A nice clean place with good burgers and good Pokemons too even though Pokemon has nothing to do with this place, haha.Worst Part: There is no worst part.Tips/Recommendations: Let your creativity power your burger, and build your own! It will be good, trust me.Return: Definitely!

I was a Grub Burger Bar regular, and I really miss the old place. The Stand is a completely different burger spot with a different menu and different burgers. It's fine. If you're looking for a solid burger at a reasonable price, you'll be happy here.I think what bothers me is that the Stand doesn't really have an identity to me. Grub burger had a unique menu with signature thick juicy burger patties, their own take on onion rings (which were dynamite, in my opinion), and a one of a kind sauce that you can't get anywhere else. The Stand, while fine, just feels like another burger spot. Their signature burger just tastes like maybe slightly fancified In-n-Out burger, their sauce (which is quite good) just tastes like a more refined standard burger spread. Their patties are thinner and not as flavorful as Grub's. Don't get me wrong - they can cook a good burger, but I don't know, to me it just doesn't have the same appeal. I'll likely come back to try out their french onion burger and maybe a chicken sandwich. But it's not exciting to me.

Grub’s the bomb! High quality burgers and onion rings are among the best. Milk shakes are good too. Nice full bar to chill. Happy hour specials. Cheese fries score points with real cheese but are average.The basic burger is the Front Porch. Love it. If you want to venture a little more then try the Morning Glory which some zing and an egg. The Guakawaka is nice of you like avocado. And the Wagyu is reeeally good. I’m lees high on the Uuumami Mushroom.

I have only had pick up so I can’t make a comment about atmosphere but these are the Absolute Best burgers I have ever had!!!! Every time.. every kind has been DELICIOUS!!

Came here for dinner. Self-seating restaurant with bar and multiple TVs for sports viewing. Burgers range from $12-14. Ordered a classic burger and it was flavorful. Patty was cooked just right and was juicy. Could’ve done without the Mayo/secret sauce (kind of thick imo). Nuggets and fries were delicious — seasoned very well.Regular cleaning in between patrons would be ideal, a few tables weren’t clean but staff addressed quickly. Overall decent experience.

The Mac and Cheese Burger is so good, absolutely crave worthy. I know, you’re thinking it sounds like a heart attack, right? Well, then we’re going to die happy.While the burgers at Grub are clearly the star of the show, but I have actually enjoyed the fish and chips in the past, and would recommend if it’s still on the menu. We also enjoyed that there are alternative meats for the burgers, as my husband cannot have beef. Sides are separate, which we actually love because we always share the onion rings and French fries.A great spot to come on game night! Lots of TVs around the dining room, a great place to enjoy any sports game with friends. Beers are well priced, and a great selection.

One of the best burgers in the area. Probably should be eaten with a fork, but hey, you can wash your hands ... and shirt ... and pants. Really, really yummy, will definitely be back.

Got the Mac and cheese burger and a shake. It was quite good. They have a nice outdoor seating space with fans and televisions. They’re also dog friendly and also got a water bowl for my dog. They also have a bar inside which we don’t go to but likely will ay some point. 100% recommend

Food is consistently good.There is a 4% surcharge which is silently added to orders. IDK... I guess that's the cost for handing a bag of food over the counter. Adding an additional tip to the order does not improve the quality of serivce. Check your order before you leave. They aren't great about getting the order correct and will require you to come back and deal with them in person to get any adjustment for missing items.

Great place to have a family dinner while watching the game! Burgers are authentic, and make sure you don't sleep on the brussel sprouts. Trust me on that!

Good food but overpriced. They advertise a lunch special for $10, but then inform you at the counter that the special only includes half the burgers on their menu. They also don’t tell you that they add a 3% “gratuity charge” to accommodate inflation once you get the check. I think it’s dishonest to advertise a certain price for your food on the menu and then add 3% when you get the check.

I am a vegetarian and its not that hard to find good vegetarian food in bay area. I came across this burger bar when I was visiting my fav ramen place nearby. Orenchi Ramen was almost closing at the time I reached, hence I visited Grub burger bar. As expected, I ordered veggie burger. Sadly they don’t serve fries included. Burger itself is a lot expensive when it comes to taste. I felt it was too blend and didn’t find it worth the price I paid. Same was with their fries. I rated this place with only two stars, because the money I paid was not at all worth and they took extra surcharge. I am sure that people who want to eat good and tasty food will feel the same for Grub’s veggie burger and fries.

Ordered takeout. Barely lukewarm macaroni and cheese that tasted like Velveeta. I arrived early for my pickup order and ate it right away so the temperature was not due to delay on my part.Average onion rings, nothing special.

Great juicy burgers with delicious taste and crunchy onions on the side. Everything comes in loft style ambience and friendly personal. The only downside is the pricing which is quite expensive for burgers.

Their onion rings truly are amazing!5/5We ordered the Hot Chick sandwich- a messy one but delicious! 4/5We also ordered boneless chicken wings with Buffalo sauce and honey Sriracha half n half. 5/5This place has an entire menu for craft beef burgers!The service wasn't that great. They served us cold onion rings. When we sent them back, they came with another batch of cold ones! We called the server again and she asked us if we wanted to pack them or get a refund! Pretty weird. 2/5Finally , we did get hot onions rings.Choice of draft beers 3/5Food 4/5They also have some pretty amazing dipping sauces. Dr. Peppers bbq and the jalapeños ranch were 5/5

Etwas teurer mit ca. 17 ?, aber die Qualität rechtfertigt den Preis. Burger mit normalem Rindfleisch gehen ab ca. 13 Dollar ?los.Ambiente ist sehr nett, Hochtische mit Bänken oder Stühlen, an den Wänden hängen TVs, auf denen Sport läuft. Gerade läuft Spiel 3 der NBA-Playoffs zwischen Golden State und L. A. Lakers.Erinnert mich alles ein wenig an die Hopdoddy-Filialen, die ich aus Phoenix kenne und mag.I just ate one of the best burgers I've ever had on a US vacation! And I've been here about 30 times.I had the wagyu burger with onion rings. Slightly more expensive at around 17 ? but the quality justifies the price. Regular beef burgers start at around $13 ?.Ambiance is very nice, high tables with benches or chairs, TVs showing sports are hanging on the walls. Game 3 of the NBA playoffs between Golden State and LA Lakers is currently underway.It all reminds me a bit of the Hopdoddy branches that I know and like from Phoenix.

5 stars, but not necessarily for the reasons you think. ? a) the mint chocolate chip shake. Ahhh, perfection in a glass. b) they were playing some mid 70s tunes, good ones, deep tracks, not the usual hits you hear. c) for some reason I noticed this tonight. A few families with young kids were here. Very cool. d) the Guacachipotle burger. Oops, they changed the name: the Guacawaka burger. e) they still have outdoor dining, cool, so we could bring our dog. One my favorite burger places now. The fries are better than you would expect too!

Great place to grab a burger! Their Wagyu Burger is cooked well, and the onion rings that come with it were crispy and good. Their milkshakes are really good too, but there's very little room since the burgers and fries/rings are a generous size.

Had the Cuban; decent rendition. Others had burgers and chicken sandwich. Good variety of burgers available. Fries were good. Each sandwich came with an onion ring on top. Onion rings probably worth ordering to share.

Sourdough Burger was outstanding...onion rings were great. My husband had the Lockhart and it was also good. The servers were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be our go-to burger restaurant. Prices were very fair for both quality and quantity. Will be seeing this place again....

All the food is good, Good burgers, sandwiches, good fries (sweet potato waffle fries whoo!), good onion rings... They often change their beer or may not have the same beers as previous weeks, but this could possibly be because of supply chain issues. Great customer service. Unfortunately, Miss that salmon sandwich they discontinued though!

Excellent service!! We've been here twice after softball games and have had nothing but the best service! The outdoor dining area was perfect for our group and there was plenty of space for us to all sit and talk over an amazingly delicious meal. ?I absolutely loved the sweet potatoes fries! Perfect amount of crispiness and flavor! The grub special sauce and the jalapeno ranch were my favorites for dipping sauce. I had the bacon love #9 burger and it was so good. Portion sizes were great!So much yumminess!!

This is a hidden gem for sure. I had the Wagyu Burger w/ onion rings, and Wow!! I have had alot of burgers from alot of different places and that burger definitely ranked in the top 5 all time best burgers, maybe even 2nd or 3rd. Everything about the burger and onion rings was Amazing!!! Definitely give this place a try if you like Burgers. Will come back for sure.

I'm not really a burger person, but I got taken here because my group wanted burgers. It was pretty empty and you could tell the staff was bored out of their minds, but the service was quite good. The fries and onion rings are great and they have interesting sauce choices. I especially liked the chipotle ketchup and the jalapeno ranch. Didn't care for my burger, but I can't hold that against them.

They used to be excellent but lately we all feel gross eating here. WAY too much mayo on chicken sandwhich, bread for my burger was greasy and gross, fries don't taste like potatoes. Sorry but no mas.People are all nice though.
