Small downtown diner, with great food and great prices, but with humble decor. A favorite with City Hall and the courthouse, it's open for breakfast and lunch only, and serves American and Asian food. Definitely worth a visit.

Such good high quality food for a good price. Accidentally stumbled upon this place while walking and was really surprised at their low prices. I wasn’t expecting much but the food is so delicious and came out quickly. Great value and they’re not stingy with sauces like other places. Highly recommend.

Definitely a wide variety of Thai, Chinese and American food for low prices in a simple place right near the Convention Center. More typical Chinese American options. Enjoyed the chicken dish, egg rolls weren’t great.

Good prices for good food, everything is served very quickly and tasted great! Seating inside was easy to come by and very inviting during my visit. I was surprised to see yellow curry on the menu, so that's what I ordered and it came out really well! I would recommend coming here again!

Was visiting for a work trip and picked up food Togo for lunch. This place was recommended to its but it felt very peculiar to have Thai and American food together. While I did not see tofu on the menu for any of the Thai fare I was very surprised that they did indeed have tofu. I ordered pad Thai with tofu no fish sauce. When I first dug in I was a little disappointed as the flavor was very sweet and not much else. Then I put in the chili oil and it was a game changer. The oil was spicier than I was expecting in a good way. It also has a slightly smoky flavor.Side note the fries that I spotted on many dine-in patrons plates looked very tasty. Seasoned, fresh and crispy. If only I had two stomachs to accommodate.

I flew to Fort Worth for a convention and my partner and I decided to get an early lunch. This place has everything one could want at an excellent price and the food is delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the Pad Thai and the orange chicken

Just what I was looking for! Value, tasty comfort food, for a great price! This a local Thai restaurant with excellent food quality. I enjoyed the Tom Ka Gai, chicken soup for the soul. Ask for chili oil on the side and add just what you need. 1/4 teaspoons makes this an authentic delicious soup. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes.

Would most likely have given more stars but not happy that you don't open up till 7:30am. People need to be at work by 8. Cant wait till 7:30. Would get more customers if open up at 7am.

The name of the restaurant doesn’t even begin to describe what’s offered here. Sure, they have burgers, hotdogs, fries etc from a typical burger joint. They also have a complete Thai menu.There were two white boards and three picture boards showing all the Asian options. I ordered the lunch Pad Thai special. It’s is amazing that you can still get a good lunch for less than $10 these days.Got the pad Thai with a little cup of hot sauce on the side. That really make the dish complete. Just enough heat.

This was a perfect lunch stop for my family on our staycation. We had burgers, fries, tots, and a grilled cheese. Nothing fancy, but it was just right for a quick lunch before swimming at the hotel pool.

The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is delicious and priced right. I spent about $10 for drunken noodles, an egg roll and a drink. The drunken noodles were made to order and had great flavor. The egg roll was also very tasty. This is a fun place and I would definitely recommend it.

Best breakfast samich downtown period!!! The breakfast plates are delicious and regular priced vs the rest of moneydance square. If you’re at the convention center this is your spot.

Pretty good little inconspicuous place. Feeling like having Chinese food and a burger? This is the place to go. They have Thai, Chinese, and typical American foods.I will return for more.The Pad Thai. It was an alright dish. The umami was a little lacking but it still had some of the fragrant nuances of a pad Thai.Fyi. Lines can be long but it moves fast. Pictures on the wall if needed. Menu is on the wall and on the floor signs. You order and take your ticket stub and listen for your number. Hand them the stub when you pick up.

The lady was very patient even though I got there about 30 minutes before the closing time and I didn’t know what to order. She was very polite too. The drunken noodles she suggested was also great.

Quick lunch. Kung Pao beef was really, really good. Lunch service was fast and efficient. Chick-fil-A ain't got nothing on this setup.Rangoon was extremely tasty as well. Definitely will make this a repeat.

I visited Texas for a week and was so impressed with this place I had it twice in that time. It's great when you have one person craving American and another craving Asian cuisine. I got the Chicken With Basil the first time and it was incredible, and a perfect lunch portion. My second time I got the Drunken Noodles and it was even better. I also sampled my husband's meals, so I can also say the Philly Cheesesteak and the Club Sandwich are also amazing!

The food was good, nice variety but for one thing. The pad thai I ordered was served to me on a styrofoam plate piping hot, and unfortunately the food accquired some of the styrofoam taste, kinda ruined the food for me.

I love the atmosphere at J's. They greet you warmly when you arrive and know their repeat customers. My favorite is the yellow curry with chicken. There are many downtown workers who frequent the restaurant but tourists come as well. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a quick bite.

If you're looking for a 'hole in the wall' (stated affectionately) place for lunch in downtown Ft Worth that is affordable, this is it.I go for their Chinese dishes but the Fried chicken sandwich is huge and awesome also.

Perfect place to walk to if you work downtown. They have anything you are in the mood for. Great Chinese and Thai, also burgers, sandwiches, salads etc. Always quick service and good. I always grab it to go and walk back to the office.

One of my favorite places to eat at in downtown fort worth. It's a nice place to either sir down or grab a quick dish to go. They also have the most eclectic assortment of dishes. Very unexpected.

It showed within walking distance of a conference I was attending and I wanted a burger. I was surprised when I showed up to find it a Chinese food place that also sold burgers. The burger was descent and the tater tots were very good. After the surprise of type of restaurant it was, I had a good lunch.

Everybody say they got the best burgers but it's about tast of the quality of meat and If not that make it presentable not just slap together make me what to come back. I eat there for lunch always love the whole staff love there food choices to me not about the burger but the people and great food one of my favorite restaurants.

Amazingly good food, reasonable prices, great variety. Chicken-fried steak sandwich is my favorite but the Drunken Noodles is a close second. The orange chicken has actual orange in it... Delicious!

You can order a chicken fried steak and a eggroll, I mean come on what's not to love. I eat here a few times a week, staff is wonderful and nice and the curry is to die for. It's a older building so don't judge. Just grub.

Popular place for lunch to grab a burger or Asian food. Food is good, fast and reasonably priced. It's not a place to take a date however, plates are disposable on trays. :) Staff is always friendly. If you think you may want a refill on your soda, pay the extra $.32 for one refill when you buy your food.

The perfect hole in the wall place. Simple but good food for a very decent price. Their breakfast burritos are delicious, very filling, and only about 3 bucks. I've only ordered lunch a few times, but the lunch food is just as good.

Strangest menu I've ever seen. Cajun, American, Chinese, Thai, and breakfast. But it was certainly delicious, I had a mushroom cheeseburger with a side of crab Rangoon instead of fries :-DOh, and super reasonable prices, my whole meal was < $8

Great convention center lunch option. Staff was friendly and food was prepared very quickly. I asked for a spicy chicken sandwich, but I got the regular fried chicken sandwich. The chicken is delicious, I was just looking forward to some serious spice on it since they have Asian dishes on the menu as well. Portion sizes are great for the price, and you can't beat the variety in one location.

I used to live in Thailand for 2 years and enjoyed Thai food a lot. When I came back to Texas, I have visited a lot of Thai restaurants. I have to admit that this place makes Thai food exactly the way it should be made ;not American- Thai, but authentic Thai. Very good tasty food, reasonable price, and fast service. Love this place!!!

If you work downtown this is a MUST for your lunch rotation. Great prices, good food and quick. I usually get mine to-go but there is usually ample seating even when they're busy.
