We shared the Bleu burger and a House salad. Fries are NOT included with burgers and the salad is also separate (only a couple $ less than the price of a burger too) but completely worth it! Hands down the best Bleu burger I've ever eaten and the service was quick. Definitely a good spot to check out in downtown Fort Worth that won't break the bank.

Real affordable food with an immense amount of flavor I was taken back at how good the burger was. Our server Kya was amazing absolutely the sweetest person and offered quality customer service. I tell my friends to come here all the time it is definitely worth your time to check out. I've never regretted ordering food here.

Went for brunch today, 1/28/24, the food was outstanding. We had the best ever loaded avocado toast and bacon as an appetizer, followed by a dinner sized perfectly cooked portion of chicken fried steak, with your choice of eggs, and potatoes, the fluffiest biscuit ever and gravy. On top of an amazing meal our waitress, Kendra, was absolutely the best. She checked on us regularly and brought drink refills without us ever running out. We also brought home their bacon topped cinnamon rolls just because. They are also delicious. Seriously, if you want a Texas sized breakfast cooked to perfection this is the place

I usually order the kickin chicken tenders with something fried. The fried mushrooms, bottle cap jalapeños or pickles. All excellent with the ranch. I prefer the spicy ranch. Yesterday, I finally tried the breakfast burger. That was way awesome. As for the team there, they are just as awesome. Always helpful hard workers. It is a great experience just stopping in for a Togo order on my way to work.

Excellent burger place. Waited about 30 minutes to get a table for a party of 5 on a Friday evening which wasn’t too bad. Everyone had a burger and loved it. The sweet potato fries come sugared with a side of marshmallow cream. It was way better than I thought it would be. Our server was Danika and she was awesome. She was fun, friendly, attentive and got every detail correct. We will definitely go back next time in Ft. Worth.

We wanted to try due to Jake's coming to Aledo in the future. There are quite a few variations on the menu, but most of the burgers were different due to double patties. The wife got the melt and it was over spicy due to the sauce. On the other hand, I got the breakfast burger and there was no spice to include salt and pepper. The fries are extra and came out plain as well. I think they ran out of salt that day. We needed to add salt to them as well. Prices were reasonable and the service attentive. This was average at best!

Accommodating. Pleasant. Very tasty food brought fast. My orders are often not easy and they don’t blink, make excuses, or complain. Also a very homey vibe. A good sized restaurant that still feels cozy.

Their burger wrappers say "best burger in the world," and it's not false advertising. Bar tender was incredibly nice and prompt with the service, even when she had a full bar and like 6-8 auxiliary tables.

We were here on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Our waitress, Jennifer, was amazing!!! There were 15 in our party & she was very pleasant and prompt and kept our drinks filled. She was awesome!!

Locally sourced ingredients. We got the burgers and wings. They have some local beer selections too. Located near Sundance Square and fun part of town to walk around. First time in Ft. Worth and came on this spot which seemed a little less touristy. Great service and food came out well.

I don't have much to say. We just stop by for some Irish coffee at the bar. The place was busy, we're heard they were shot handed but they seem to be holding there own.. when we left the was a line and it was only 3 pm.

First time to order, ordered the Jake (#2) so disappointing. 2 small pickles a sliced of onion about 1/4 thick, no mustard so the bun side with no cheese was dry. Only 3 stars because the fries were awesome. However I won’t order again.

Total lack of service. Most staff where sitting doing nothing. Twice we had to ask for the bartender to come back to bar. Very low key venue, chopped up space. Did not see any customers except 1 at the bar. This was my 2nd visit. Will not be returning for a 3rd visit. Mediocre at best.

I mean seriously you find me another burger joint that does burgers of this quality for this price. First of all I started my day having breakfast here. The portions were so generous I could not even finish my meal. Then when we came back for lunch with a group we had nine of us they seated us promptly it was not much of a way at all I think five or 10 minutes and they were very attentive. My water was always full and the service was fantastic. The food is great I had the jalapeno popper burger and it was awesome it's not drenched in condiments but it did have all the right things on it so Props to the chef

In an age of difficult labor and supply chain challenges that ALL industries are suffering from, Jakes keeps the quality and service strong year after year.When in the DFW area, whether it's for breakfast, dinner, or hosting clients, Jakes is a great casual place to relax and enjoy some great food and drinks.The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Can't go wrong with Jakes, definitely recommended.

THE best burger in DFW metroplex. I definitely recommend the Jalapeno bottle cap. This is a classic double burger with fried cheesy jalapeno goodness with a delicious poppy seed bun. And this goes really well with Jake's pepper sauce.The restaurant is huge with 2 floors and their staff is amazing and friendly. They work really hard to provide an impeccable service to every single customer.We also got a $4 16oz Shiner to go during the main street arts festival.

Update. This has been my go-to spot for a burger during Main St Arts festival and it never disappoints. Great service despite the overwhelming amount of people pouring in there all day. We were able to leave our number, browse the art and got a call within 30 minutes. The food was great as usual and our server was fantastic. The manager did seem to be in a bit of a rush to get our check to us and turn over the table but I get it. It's busy.Previous review: Best burger in the area. Everything was perfect on my visit. Great service, decor and not only is the burger well cooked it's properly seasoned.

During a recent visit to downtown Fort Worth, my co-workers and I had the opportunity to dine at Jake's, a restaurant that had piqued our interest. Upon entering the establishment around 11:30 am, we observed a moderately occupied space, with a handful of patrons at the bar and several groups in the dining area.We were seated at the bar, and after waiting for approximately 15 minutes, our server, Savannah M, arrived to take our drink orders. Unfortunately, her demeanor was less than welcoming, as she curtly asked, "What do you want for drinks?!" We proceeded to order two waters, one Dr. Pepper, one sweet tea, and fried mushrooms with three servings of ranch dressing.Following an additional 10-minute wait, our server returned with three waters and a Dr. Pepper but failed to deliver the sweet tea. We placed our orders for The Works Burger, chicken fried steak, and another burger accompanied by a side salad. When the fried mushrooms arrived, we requested the missing sweet tea and an extra serving of ranch dressing.Approximately 20 minutes later, our meals were brought to the table by Savannah and another staff member. Regrettably, there was some confusion regarding the chicken fried steak, which turned out to be chicken fried chicken. Our server, Savannah, was unyielding in her insistence that the dish was indeed a steak. Furthermore, the burgers we received were not cooked to our desired medium-well doneness.After requesting the sweet tea once more, Savannah informed us that she was extremely busy and would need a few more minutes. To our dismay, she promptly greeted a nearby group of five with a warm welcome and enthusiastic service, a stark contrast to our own experience.Eventually, the sweet tea was delivered, and our coworker reiterated that the chicken fried steak had been mistakenly replaced with chicken fried chicken. Despite her initial reluctance, Savannah ultimately removed the incorrect dish from our bill, though our coworker had already decided to dispose of the meal.In conclusion, our experience at Jake's left much to be desired in terms of service, particularly from our server, Savannah M. While the restaurant's atmosphere was enjoyable, the inconsistencies in service and food preparation regrettably detracted from our overall dining experience.

Really good selection of standard Burger fare with nice adds and twists. Strangely, very good chicken fried steak! it's all good and plentiful portions. I think I counted six or seven types of fried potatoes like french fries tater tots sweet potato fries and varieties of each. Well worth a visit

We ate here twice while we were in Ft. Worth. My first meal was excellent. Second meal was a salad and not the best. I ended up only eating the chicken out of it. So I don't recommend a salad here. Service was great. Restrooms had the wildest faucet set up I've ever seen. They look like handle bars...you wash in the middle and dry under the bars on each side.

The nachos are awesome!! Probably some of my favorite eating here in Fort Worth. Also had the jalepeno burger that was on point, very tasty geat burger , and the sweet potato fries were different and delicious with whatever the white dip sauce was it really complimented the fries. Had tried this place on two separate occasions in the one week while traveling here. The second time I tried the flaming rooster grilled chicken sandwich. Which was supposedly a Texas favorite for 35 years. Was very disappointed in this one as the grilled chicken piece was very this, almost tasted freezer burnt at one point. And the hot mustard did not taste anything spicy, it just tasted like warmed up mustard, which my opinion did not compliment the chicken, nor the pico de gallo on it. Over all all the rest of the foods made jakes good. Will definitely come back here. But NC has better chicken sammiches. Sorry Texas.

This review is strictly about AWESOME service! Our service today, a Saturday, was so good that everyone at our table (including the 9 yo) commented on it several times during the meal! We were checked on about every 3 to 5 minutes! The servers were absolutely polite and friendly. The manager came by twice! Y'all, this was at noon on a Saturday in Sundance Square! They were busy, but we felt like we were the only people in the place!The food was great, but, really, the service won the stars here!

Our party of three got burgers that tasted real good. Only small complaint I had was I had the turkey burger and the bottom bun was soggy, but was delicious.We arrived about 7pm and the place became very crowded quickly. That is probably why service was slow. In spite of being very busy our server was very nice and attentive to what we may need. Will definitely return again.

Corner restaurant conveniently located across the street from a couple of hotels perfect for the out of town traveler. Had a burger with grilled onions and it exceeded my expectations including the poppy seed bun which was delicious. Had some nice cold beer to go along with my meal. The burger prices look reasonable, but they don't include any sides to add a couple more dollars for French fries or tater tots which were really delicious. Burger juiciness was off the chart and I would definitely come back.

Went for a quick bite while we attended the collectacon at the convention center. Burger was very good, son loved his chicken tenders, but both our fries were pretty limp. All staff was super friendly from beginning to end. If the fries had been crispy it would've been a 5/5.
