I often see a menu online and in person with pictures of the food that looks amazing just to be greeted by a plate of garbage. We were hungry and this place popped up as a good burger place nearby. We ordered and we're pleasantly surprised when the plates hit the table with food looking better than what the menu showed! Aiden and Dayvon were both friendly and on top of the game getting our order and checking back frequently to make sure everything was good and our drinks were full! The burgers were cooked perfectly and we got real bacon, not that bacon flavored paper everyone serves nowadays. Even though we don't live in the area this place is a our new stop for food wherever we're out here! For sure a must try if you love burgers!!

This place was so nice! Aiden and Dayvon both were our servers. If one was busy they worked together amazingly! They brought our food out and it looked just like the menu! Tasted even better as the burger was hot, bun was soft, bacon was crisp and wow! The beef was Grand Canyon! Literally the most flavor I've ever experienced. We chose the garlic parm fries for a side and they didn't dissapointed! Perfect meal topped with a big glass of filtered water iced tea! I am super picky about the taste of my tea ! Wont dissapoint!

So they apparently need to work on their timing. 1 appetizer was brought out after the meal, the reason was they cook everything fresh. Okay, fine but if an appetizer is going to take 30 mins then tell us. The food was way overpriced for what we received. Flavors not there, all the sauces and extras don't work if you burger is way under seasoned. And the sauces were underwhelming with no depth of flavor. We had 2 servers vying for our attention or tips, and neither communicated with the other or got our order right the first time. Multiple requests for drink refills and still waiting.. A lot of this would have been understandable if they had been busy but there was only 10 people eating there including us. This is a shame. We had been there just before covid and enjoyed the experience. This time not at all. It's a shame.

These are some of the best burgers in PHX. Juicy, cooked to order, crispy yummy fries. Lots of bacon on it if you want it...can have it just the way you like it. We come here regularly. Beef is high quality and buns are moist. The servers are super nice. A great neighborhood place. Price is reasonable and we appreciate it! Wonderful!

It was an exceptionally long day, and all we wanted was a good burger and a cold beer. They more than delivered!!!! Amazing service and the burgers were amazing!!!! We ended up staying three hours just relaxing and enjoying!!!!

We ordered to go burgers with fries and onion rings we spent $150 plus on 7 burgers in which we put on our order ALL WELL done. They were not well done, in fact a couple of them literally had blood coming out when we each bit in to them.This was our first order with them and likely our last. The sad part is, they looked like they would have been good if they were cooked like we wanted them.

Some of the best burgers in Phoenix. Good beers and drinks...my wife enjoyed their Sangria, while I had a draft IPA. We sat on the patio, which was pleasant, as the building blocks the sun in the afternoons...which is important as the days warm up now.

Amazing food i love the i think its called true chicken love it but not good for takeout has lots of fresh juicy veggies that make buns soft but id different order and and there flourless chocolate cake and ice cream is heavenly sounds weird but it's bomb ? id definitely visit again

Spend 15 minutes putting together an online order for pick up. Put in all your credit card information and it comes back saying that they're not taking anymore orders at this time. Oh well, on to the next restaurant I guess.

My 1st time at this location, with two other diners. The two burgers and pastrami sandwich were terrific! The sides, this time were disappointing They were cold and tasteless, Garlic Pharm fries, Onion rings, and sweet potato fries, tasted like yesterday's stuff. Next time, I will skip the sides.A nice server, that took good care of us.

After our morning in the art museum we googled burger establishment near by and came by Tru burger- delicious burger excellent service and friendly atmosphere.... absolutely excellent across the board AND they are DOG FRIENDLY!!!!

I always have wonderful service at this establishment. The food is excellent. I especially like the fish and chips on Friday night. I have enjoyed many of the different burgers on the menu. I have never been disappointed.

Good tasting reasonably priced burger that comes in lots of different styles and flavors. Cold AC?, but that's how some like it. Sports on TV, good service, a regular Friday or Saturday option! Zuchinini fries delish!

My wife and I live in the neighborhood and eat here maybe twice a month.. For a place that specializes in Burgers they have never gotten my burger temp correct... its always well done.. the service is so bad that by the time we get our food all we want to do is eat and leave. The servers are usually busy chatting with the regulars to pay attention and give good service to the others in the dining room. After our meal last night, I don't think we will be going back...and its a shame because the menu is decent and again they are around the corner from our house.

I figured this place would be JUST ANOTHER BURGER joint. No wayyyyy - This place is so good! My husband and I went for date night (we're from out of town and it was in walking distance to our airbnb) and it did not disappoint. This is probably the best burger I've ever had at this price point. Also, the amount of fries you get is absurd. Atmosphere was fun, servers were nice, place wasn't too busy. We'll definitely be back.

Had the Blu Burger medium rare. It was cooked to perfection with lots of mushrooms and bluecheese!Just…YUM. Staff was attentive and our food came out pretty quick. Will def be back on my next downtown Phoenix visit.

I sat at the bar, and after a couple of minutes, I immediately walked right out. The staff were nice enough, but as soon as I got to grips with how much my lunch was about to cost me, I just knew it would be irresponsible of me to stay.Maybe all the middle-aged white collar white guys (that was literally the entire clientele) love this place, and can afford it, but I can’t spend $13 on a burger plus $5 for fries. That’s just crazy. And that’s if I don’t “upgrade” my protein or add an egg or mushrooms or get a drink! One can easily spend $30+ per person here. Rent must be expensive on Central.

Davon was a gracious host helping with order and checking up on us! Burger meat was good. I’ll try the BBQ burger next. Created my own and ingredients tasted fresh but didn’t pair well (my fault). I’d recommend the bistro burger with light balsamic. House Marg is gooood!!

A bit expensive, but they have a lot of options. I got an impossible burger with parm garlic fries and it was very good. Server was nice and quick service on Sunday. We were in and out in 20-30minutes.

A little pricey but you get what you pay for here. A lot of really tasty flavors! Get the Tru fries it s a mix of sweet potato and regular coated fries. Zucchini fries on point also

The server was very sweet & friendly. Unfortunately, my friend & I had to leave before our food arrived. We ordered a basic burger each & onion rings to share. We had theatre reservations for 730, arrived at Tru Burger around 545 & over an hour later, we still hadn't gotten our food. We had to leave...extremely hungry & disappointed. And no one came to tell us there was an issue in the kitchen, we found out as we were leaving. The 2x we called someone over, they said our food would be out soon.

Another great hamburger from Truburger. Jeffrey always does a great job on making sure everything is perfect for our lunch. The Habanero burger is my favorite, nice and spicy. You better have a good appetite, these are 1/2# burgers. Best hamburger I have ever had.

I'm so happy to have visited this spot. From the moment I entered the staff was very nice and very friendly.The server Dayvon,bartender Kristen, the other employee Amy, Blaise, Alison, and Ryn was too pleasant as well. My food came fast and hot. My burger was definitely up to par. My Tru fries was awesome. And it was such nice experience I will return with guess to share wit.Thanks guys I really enjoyed dining with Tru Burger.

Did a take out order and the burgers were tasteless, we had been in the restaurant before and we got fries, take out was without fries…we were expecting a lot more from this place given our prior experience…don’t do take out

Best Hamburger I have had in Phoenix. I am a purest, lettuce, tomato and Mayo only but the beef taste came through. A bit pricey but worth it. Skinny fries Are great, shareable order

Greeted and sat immediately. Waters delivered promptly. Then the waiting began. Restaurant half or less full. Waited a large amount of time to order drinks, then to order the food and very very slow to get to the table. Love the food, but to have that slow a service makes me not want to risk that again.

The one thing that makes an ok"craft" burger good is having great "craft" fries to go with it. The fries here miss the mark. I've had better fries from the frozen section at the grocery store.The burger was ok, cooked as ordered, but needs salt and pepper when cooking it. Adding it after the burger is dressed doesn't help the flavor of the meat. The bun was dry, parts off the bacon were hard, like it had been sitting out and gotten dry, the iceburg lettuce was bitter and took over a couple of bites before I removed it, and the tomatoes fell apart and we're falling off the burger.Service was good although I had to go find our server so we could get our check. And an extra star for good fried pickle spears and not pickle chips.I think I heard about Tru Burger from an influencer. With so many options out there, only a few upgrades would make this a place to return to. But not as is.

I went here for the first time yesterday and it was really good! I had the cesar salad with salmon, and chips and salsa. The chips by themselves were really good. Everything was good. I will definitely be back to try their burger and fries. The atmosphere is nice; it's great for lunch during the day, after work date with co-workers, date with significant other, and even drinks to watch the game because they have TV's in each dining area. I liked the vibe. I went around 1pm and it was not too packed. I was able to stay more than 6ft from other ppl which I like and appreciate. None of ther servers wore masks, but to each his own I guess. It's my responsibility to keep myself as safe as I want to be, not others. I will go back.I went back for lunch on on Friday and I really enjoyed their "Tru burger" and garlic parmesan fries. Filling, great portion size (I was full for the rest of the evening), and the service was great! Can't wait to try their drinks next time.
