Burger Barn

I had the grilled chicken burger n fries and it would of been better tasting if they didn’t give me stale dry bun and also if they bring back the fountain drinks so I wouldn’t have to stop at 7-11 to get my soda.

Classic style short order grill, real food not microwaved! Had the Barn Burger - greasy as expected and very tasty. Friendly staff, calm and welcoming attitude. Decor is well kept in simple diner style with some vintage car flair.

Great for home cooked food. I have been to many places that serve pancakes and these guys have it down perfectly. Not crumbly, not too much baking soda, soft but doesn't disintegrate. Holds the butter well when spread and cuts smooth. Flavor wise they're awesome ?I'm a breakfast anytime type of person so they're perfect.Even the eggs are good...I like mine over-medium and they cooked them perfectly.

Love this local spot that serves mostly breakfast and American cuisine ! Must check it out. Located across from Westfield Mall, it's been a neighborhood gem since 1964 ! Highly recommend it. Nice ambience, good music, friendly service and good customer service. Ask for Ivan or Danny :)

They were so nice as we came in just at closing and didn't realuze it. Never told us and didn't rush us. We only realized it as we were leaving. Foohd was WONDERFUL. THANK YOU SO MUCH. WE WILL BE BACK.

This ain't no fancy burger place like Red Robin. But if you want a BURGER like my daddy used to make in the 60's, this is your place. Great burgers, onion rings, fries and shakes. And other stuff too.

My aunt & uncle use to own this old hole in wall burger joint in the 80'sIt was called The Winchester Corral then.It catered to local blue collar worker? & the neighborhood old folks ? long before Valley Fair & Santana Row ( yuppies ) YUCK?? !!Their breakfast & burger menu was available all day not like Whammy Burger or other big chain burger joints.Good food, good service, prices have doubled & some cases tripled !!I keep coming back, mainly out of nostalgia but also to keep mom & pop family businesses around.Me : Bbq bacon western burger combo( with fries & a rootbeer ) please with a side of onion rings & a chocolate shaketoo ???

Looks unassuming but they do good food. Who needs McDonalds when you’ve got 50-year old classic burger joints like this serving up tasty grub?! Good fried chicken, chips, burgers and milkshakes.

I LOVE BREAKFAST FOODS!!!I could have eggs at home, but having eggs at a restaurant just makes them taste better (it's science).Okay, yes I enjoy fancy brunch places as much as the next person, but at the end of the day (or the start of it?), I just want some dang good breakfast foods. I love the variety of food options here and definitely will be back for their lunch options. I stuck with the simple Breakfast Special which includes two eggs, sausage/ham/or bacon, and toast/or hash browns.Call me a fiend, but all I ever wanted from breakfast sausages was for them to taste like McDonald's sausage patties. And Burger Barn delivers!This is really random, but Burger Barn has been on my food bucket list for a while, because I love how it's old-timey looking business is kinda standing it's ground against the behemoth that is Valley Fair. The juxtaposition is just excellent.I will be back! :D

Bad reviews for Burger Barn simply don't get it. Its an old school, nothing fancy or clever old neighborhood joint. A lost breed repping how things were before silicon Valley wiped out what we grew up with. Just enjoy it for what it is. Not what it isnt.

The Philly Cheesesteak was perfect just the way I like them and the bun it was served on was amazing not sure what kind of bread it was but it was amazing! Will definitely be back for more!

Ordered the seafood platter and the portion is generous. The person who took my order was very polite and reasonable about changing to all coleslaw instead of french fires.

One of the LAST restaurants around here that has food prepared by people who have a vested interest in the quality.Simple, freshly made food. Banana milkshakes are great BTW.

This has become our new favorite place for good o breakfast. Very affordably priced but more importantly (to us) the portions are just right. Not Denny's or Bill's Cafe's must-pack-to-go. And they use real eggs for scramble. Good o school breakfast.This place is such a gem.

Burger basket was the best burger I've had in Cali. The beef patty has a grilled steak flavor. Best french fries I've had in San Jose the onion rings are good too. Everything is cooked fresh to order. I couldn't take a picture because I ate it too fast.

Man that bacon was good on the cheeseburger. Very friendly service and I'll probably be back when I can eat outside on their patio, but knocking a star off for the Styrofoam take-out box. Who needs a box for a burger, and with all the better options the 1980s vibe on the waste stream was frustrating from an otherwise good local spot.

Recently moved to San Jose in January 2020 and I have not had the best food experiences However, once I stumbled on Burger Barn I have been in heaven. I had breakfast one morning, the service was so awesome and the food was made super fast! Everything was fresh and hot and delicious... I had a burger today and it was amazing also, I love the fresh ingredients and The fact that even takeout orders are fresh and delicious.

My husband and I really wanted to get barn burgers and ordered some along with regular hamburgers for the rest of the family. Our order got mixed up and we did not get the burgers we wanted. We called them back to put in another order. Unfortunately they had ran out of meat (at 1:30, a little surprising as they close at 5pm on Saturdays). Anyhow, not a great experience today but we'll go back because we love their burgers and because we like the idea of supporting local businesses!

Haven't had a classic burger like that in a LONG time.. fresh lettuce and tomato (still cold) and a fresh burger so your bites are mixed temps.. wow.. the price is a steal but my favorite part was the banana milkshake with REAL banana.. omfg heaven. Only competition to this place is Sliders

This will always be my favorite Burger spot. I've been going here for over 20 years. On my way home in middle school I would stop here before walking to the bus terminal across the street.

Had a steak sandwich with mushrooms my daughter had a cheeseburger they were very good they were quick the staff is very friendly and attentive it's a hole in the wall please but very good food and service.

I've gone there twice now with my partner, once for a burger and second for breakfast. They have been great both times. They cook everything fresh on the spot with real ingredients. I had their banana milk shake, it was made with real ice cream and real bananas, not artificial flavoring. Their customer service is also very nice and friendly. They also sell bags, shirts, hats and blankets that were made by a friend of someone who works there.Nice small family owned business that I am happy to keep supporting.

cool little old school looking burger joint. I wanted to like it more than i did. Patties have the look of hand formed patties. I might give it one more try, but the burger came a la carte, and there was no mention of that when I placed the order. It is not exactly a cheap place. Not sure why, but it came cute in half. I got the ranch burger, which was light on bbq sauce, and light on bacon. Still it was not a bad burger, just needs a little more pizazz

Great breakfast and affordable. The barn slam was eggs, 3 strips of bacon, and 2 pancakes. Different than your other diner flavor. Just nice and basic.

One of those rate places that still exist in this country where it is not a chain burger joint. Totally laid back chill environment.The burgers are legit burgers. Onion rings, how they are supposed to be, delicious.Really clean for being a little run down.

This place has been here for a long time. Their food is outstanding! Breakfast is served all day. The shakes are from another planet, so creamy and good. The atmosphere here is laid back 50's style. There are pictures of the classic cars on the walls that bring you back to the time when you were a kid. A real gem!

Hands down one of the best tasting burger places cheeseburgers How's that old time Char-Broil taste Hamburger buns are fresh. Steak fries Are cooked crispy on the outside soft on the inside very courteous sales associate My second time here definitely will be back.
