Food was not good. Calamari was chewy and green bowls tasted not fresh. Left a lot to hope for. Don't know where 4.6 stars came from. Prosecco was the only good thing.

Tho this restaurant is very family-friendly, leave the kids home and make it a date night. This place is cozy and romantic. They play an eclectic source of soft rock music in the background at a reasonable sound level. So if you're on a date or meeting up with friends, you can enjoy conversation. My Queenstown fav burger was cooked to my liking and was delicious. I went with their house red wine. My other half went with the New Zealand meat pies. I was told they were different and just OK. We both saved room for desert and split their yummy mag pie. Prices are reasonable for quality here. Service was welcoming and friendly.

I discovered I am not a great fan of NZ cuisine, too spicey for me -other people in my party enjoyed it more than I did. They even add pepper to nuggets of the kids menu - of course our kid could not eat it. When the waiter saw that, he did not offer alternative nor excuses...The location is great (Little Italy) and the restaurant is beautiful.

We ate here on our last night in San Diego, there was only availability to eat outside it was a little cold so we just kept our jackets on. We ordered the queenstown burger and the wellington meatloaf. The portions were very generous to say the least! The burger was great but the meatloaf was not totally to our taste. Our server Philip let us try a few red wines before ordering, although I felt a bit of an inconvenience at times and he was not overly attentive. Our bill came to $110 in total. We had a pleasant evening but wouldn't necessarily rush back.

A whole experience words can't describe. Good sitting, and view to the outside street. Specular design to the building, which sets the kind of tone a place like this has to offer. So, check it out.

First time we went here it wasn’t enough we came back 2 more days in a row and got something different every time. Everything we ordered on the menu was amazing. I especially liked the rack of lamb. Thank you

We went for happy hour. $9 Moscow mule sounds good but no alcohol and taste like ginger beer is all. The beer flight arrived room temperature and taste oxidized. We also ordered four sliders, and calamari. They all arrived cold and didn’t taste good.

Would go again! Makes a great Pimms Cup - which is extremely hard to find. Salad was delicious and my co-workers burger was extremely tasty. Beautiful exterior, lovely hidden gem.

Kind of the Outback Steakhouse of New Zealand food, in that there's almost zero New Zealand food, and what they do have is like someone heard that NZ has a lot of sheep so they figured putting a lamb burger on the menu would make it super Kiwi.I had the pies and fries for a bit of nostalgia but the pies were pretty much pasties with way too much salt, sitting on a pile of over seasoned steak fries for $25. I didn't finish it.Staff were great though!

Recommend a reservation because it is that popular. The cocktails were delicious and beautiful! There were so many great things on the menu. I ordered the shrimp and grits, honestly the BEST I've ever had. So glad to discover this lovely restaurant. I appreciate the friendly quick service. I will be back!
