I got told "hello" and "thank you for coming in" as soon as I walked in the door. The food was hot and fresh, and I immediately smelled and tasted it. I was impressed. The lady that took my order was friendly and explained to me what the different sandwiches were made of when I asked. The green peppers and onions on my Philly Cheesestake tasted fresh, and the overall sandwich was delicious. The restaurant was clean, and as soon as someone left, a person came to clean the table for future customers.For a restaurant selling a $13.00 meal nowadays, I was impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness.

Burger Box has food that you just crave. It's not super amazing or over the top delicious but it's definitely loads better then your regular What a burger or burger King. However I do NOT recommend their chicken, I've only had it once and I got food poisoning.

Quick drive thru for a good old-fashioned hamburger. The bun was burned black; it should never have been used. I like an old-fashioned crispy burger patty, but this was also overcooked. Common sense would have proven the burger should have been thrashed and redone.

We just happened to be in downtown for the day and we decided to stop to eat.Food was "GREAT" we both had burgers and fries.The service was exceptional and very friendly! ( I normally do not finish all when eating fast food, I had nothing left over!)Thanks to the crew at Burger box!

Old fashioned hamburgers. Tasty burgers and fries. They also had ice cream that looked good but my double meat burger didn't leave any room for dessert. The pictures of old celebrities provided entertainment after our meal as we looked through them. I recommend you give it a try if you like good food.

This used to be my favorite place for burgers, however I was a teenager. Today the burger ( plain cheese, bacon) was over cooked. My daughter also mentioned how thin the patty was. We did ask for a dry burger, however this was too dry.I think I'll stick with other burger places. However continue going to Burger Box for those amazing Blue Bell shakes!!!!

I don’t know why there are bad reviews on this place. Their burgers are tasty and fresh. I love that when I ask for jalapeños that they really put them on. Most places only put like three little slices lol They also have decent customer service. Good job ?

We always love this place, even the one location at both Calloway and Glenview or the one at Crowley Rd. Really good prices, very good flavor on the burger and also we help at the local business.

I absolutely love this place the burgers are good the fry's are the best I would even say they are better then Griff's hamburgers Griff's has some greasy hamburgers but not here the coke machine is spot on and they have milk shakes 7 different flavors of ice cream

Just moved in down the street & we needed lunch in between painting our house. Glad we came here its got a great 50s vibe and the people who work here were really nice I would recommend to anyone who wants some good food.

This is only my 3rd time to eat here and I am stuck on the cheese burger & fries so far. It's a good old time griddle cooked burger. The kind where the juice runs down your arm...yum! Bonus: they make Blue Bell MALTS & shakes but I hadn't been able to find a malted anywhere anymore.

Old school diner-style menu and atmosphere.Had the basic cheeseburger basket at about 1:30PM on a Saturday afternoon. Everything was perfect.If you live nearby, I highly recommend this place.

I really wasn’t expecting much considering the building is pretty old and rundown but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was fresh and hot and delicious! Great customer service too! I’ll definitely be back!!

My mother and I just walked out of here from having 2 cheeseburger combos and I am definitely coming back! We recently moved here from LA and I've been dying for LA style burgers and fries! This is the closest I've gotten to my tastebuds! The burger meat was beautiful. I can't believe it. My mother also commented on how clean their restroom is. I look forward to coming back!

The taste of the food was good. You can tell it was a handmade burger. The bun just completely crumbled which made the burger a mess to eat. The patty needs to be pressed more to fill out the size of the bun. Made me think of "where's the beef" commercial.

This place was okay if you're just trying to grab a quick bite to eat that isn't a chain restaurant in the surrounding area. They serve very quickly too! As far as the food quality goes, you get what you pay for.

Haltom City is in the history books as being a Burger Mecca of sortsThis is in the old Dairy Queen store on 377 and is as good or better than any in 76117, including Clownburger

Excellent customer service I must say and they do have a decent burger as far as the meat goes but, the toppings are nothing special (iceberg lettuce etc.). Worth mentioning too, the mayo that they use is good quality - no bad aftertaste. Waffle fries are one of several side options however, they have a seasoning on them which totally takes away from any good potato-y flavor (have to go to Chick-fil-A for that apparently). The portion size given for the single-patty burger combo meal (now more than $11.00 after tax), may have you feeling a bit robbed compared to say...an In-N-Out Burger where you can get a good quality double meat combo for less.

Stopped in town today for the first time with my family and was looking for a good place to eat and found exactly that here. The food was awesome! We all had different items to eat like chicken, fish, burgers, fried pickles, jalapeño poppers and they were all great! There was so much to choose from and the prices are reasonable. The staff was also very kind and friendly. Loved the old school feel this place had, definitely recommend to all and can’t wait to go back!

I am so freaking glad we came here!! This place is DELICIOUS!! The burger is made when you order it so it was hot, juicy and BURSTING with flavor. It is an older building which I love. It gives the place class and stands out uniquely from the modern looks we see in buildings today. I can’t recommend this place enough and I will definitely be coming back often.

It's your generic low fi burger joint. The burger was decent but flavorless, generic store bought white bun, krinkle fries were nostalgic but bland. Ice tea was very fresh. Seven plus tax for the single patty combo. You have to wait about five minutes in the drive through with no other customers while they prepare your order, but the trade off is fresh and hot fast food.

Just got the triple combo with cheese, pickles, and onions. This is the food of the gods. I legit sounded crazy while eating it. So delicious. I may go back for another later. Also, crinkle cut fries are the best.

Wow! Burgers are made fresh to order so be prepared to wait a little the portions are just perfect for the buck! Their fries are so crunchy and tasty. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

The burger was not as good as it use to be. Beef was over cooked so it tasted dry and it was tough. I ordered a Philly cheese steak and some cheese stick which was good.
