My son asked to go here, I have passed by this place for years. They serve a lot of food but it also isn't cheap but the food is good. A pretty good fast food Hawaiian flavored place.

Honestly this was my first time actually trying Hawaiian food and the thing was my sister didn’t know what we should eat till we brought up the idea of trying this place since I haven’t but she has and honestly this food is so much better then your normal food place it’s almos a hidden gem.

The food here is always a solid choice when my fiancé and I are trying trying figure out a good place to eat. You can never we go wrong with their katsu mini (I can never finish a plate combo) or a spam musubi. My fiancé gets their "low carb plate" or the "seafood combo" and has extra leftovers.One random recommendation is definitely their French fries. For some reason they have the crinkle fries and they are the best crinkle fries I have found locally.

Typical Hawaiian lunch plate establishment. Not bad food but nothing special either. I believe that this is a franchise and that would explain the blandness of offerings.This place still has not opened to dine in (as of 6-15-21). Take out only.BTW the parking lot is a bit torn up. Appears to have a plumbing problem.

Try their spam musubi (only $2.99) and garlic shrimp! Affordable and quality food. They take doordash or phone order. You get cheaper price than doordash by calling them.

Updating my review. Just picked up some BBQ chicken and Chicken Katsu. The BBQ was good as always but not the Chicken Katsu for the first time. It was cut in too thin of slices and some of the crispy batter was so hard, you couldn't chew it. This is my favorite dish here so of course I'm disappointed about it ?

First, the good. The chicken katsu bowl and BBQ chicken was good and well worth the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was our first time at a Hawaiian BBQ place, and the staff helped us figure out what we wanted to try.Now the not so great. The musubi (we tried chicken and spam) had too much seaweed and too much rice. It felt like a seaweed burrito. The amount of rice to the size of the protein was such that all you tasted was the rice. The protein was well flavored, I just wanted less rice so I could taste the protein. Finally, I didn't care for the pork. It had very little flavor to it.The facilities could also use a deep cleaning. The table we first sat at was sticky and the place just doesn't feel clean.All in all, it's not a bad place. Some of the food is good, especially for the price. I would be willing to go back for their Hawaiian bowls.

Amazing portion size. You get an insane amount of food for how much you pay, which is really great. I had the chicken Katsu which I was a big big fan of. I usually finish all of my food but I had a really difficult time here clearing my plate. The vibe is really chill and local feeling even though they're a chain. I really recommend this place for comfort food.

A great little fast food place for a quick bite to eat. Whenever I go, I usually end up with a Kalua pork combo plate (to share) and a few spam musubis. Occasionally I will get a spam saimin, which is quite tasty as well, but I have to be in the mood. I always get spam though, because this is one of the few restaurants that I can get a meal cooked with spam. So good! So many people diss spam, but it is delicious.

Friendly staff. But very dirty if you are eating there. Filth everywhere especially the highchairs. It's like they've had them for years and never cleaned them.

The chicken teriyaki is so good! Just enough Shoyu to give it the saltiness and the fresh ginger to make it pop! Their mac salad has just the right amount of mayo to round it out to give you that Hawaii love. The portion for a mini is very filling. Plus, who doesn't love catching up on the news reading the Honolulu paper? A great neiborhood spot and one of the best L&L in the south bay.

Our favorite dishes include: bbq chicken, spam musubi, and ramen burger. The Mac salad is good but I usually sub a green salad for it to get some more veggies in. You can also get brown rice.

Big portions, affordable, nice healthy options, and always friendly staff! This is a favorite spot for quick food (you can even call in an order to pick up). Chicken katsu is my favorite, but the curry or bbq chicken are also good!

Sometimes you just need the taste of Hawaii. I love that they have some off-menu items such as kimchee - that really goes well with spam musabi or moco-loco.

On the days when I'm starving and craving something but don't know what, I'm thankful for L&L as it becomes my go-to spot where I know I won't be disappointed. I've always received friendly service here from the staff they are always happy to accommodate special requests. The menu is straightforward and the food is consistent every time. Inside, the store is pretty clean and there's always plenty of seating.The only negative feedback I would give is that the parking lot can look filthy at times as there tends to be trash littered all over the ground. It is next to a bus stop where they get a lot of foot traffic, however, it ultimately comes down to the management to ensure the property is maintained and presentable.

We love l&l! The flavor is just right for so many dishes. The ribs are awesome, all the different meats are delicious, and I was even impressed by the noodles. Fish is good too, I have ordered the garlic fish a few times and everyone seems to want a taste.

Always love this place. I have been going to this place and they are very consistent, with the portion and the flavor. Love the bbq mix and the seafood mix. Loco moco is good too and the musubi's.

Excellent food, good service and the portions are huge. I recommend the chicken katsu curry...don't know how that sauce is made but it is wonderful. Healthy eats...get the steamed cabbage instead of rice and mac salad.

New favorite healthy fast food choice. I like the option of mini servings. Yummy noodle soup with meat options. Good option for a family on a budget. Friendly staff with fast check out. Free parking but limited. Other available shopping nearby i.e. Nobhill grocery store and Big Lots.

I always come here for the loco moco with hamburger patties... it's very casual and the folks are very hospitable. My wife likes butter on her white rice and they were able to accommodate even though it was an usual request.

L&L BBQ always has good food. Very relaxed atmosphere. Very clean too. I always like getting the seafood and short rib combo. Secret menu??? Gravy fries lol. The two workers their were super friendly and responsive. Overall, great places to eat

Solidly 4 stars. Food here is always good, although a bit heavy and very filling, which is typical of Hawaiian food. The plus here is that the quality of the food is good, nothing here is overly salty or off-putting to the palate. I usually go with the BBQ Chicken, Loco Moco, or the Fried Fish Fillet. The fish they use is swai, which is a mild-flavored white fish. Their ahi poke is hit or miss.

I only give it two stars because the food is good. The staff is cold and uninviting. I have been to other locations and loved every minute of my experience. this one though I will not be returning to despite being directly across the street. that's a shame to because they could have made a loyal customer. isn't that the aim? to bring back customers over and over? i would recommend the staff be retrained in customer service. it's not about being a robot, it's about making a customer feel comfortable and wanted in a warm welcoming environment.

Good location near multiple shopping plazas. Good parking, and equipped with a drive-thru. Staff was very friendly and fast. The food was fresh and high quality! Good value too! I recommend the kahlua pig and spam masubi! Yummy! Clean dining area, but they were missing some tables. Overall a good experience, very casual dining. Mahalo!

The food here is always awesome. Tons of choices. The side dish of macaroni salad everyone loves. It is not your usual cold and sweet salad. Instead it is warm and creamy. If you want healthy options they have brown rice as a substitute for white rice and steamed vegetables in place of the macaroni salad. Th Vega tables are always fresh. They must get them daily. Crystal, one of the owners is always very pleasant. You can order by phone it is usually ready for pickup within ten about ten minutes.

The food is good and typical of L&L. The friendliness of the staff is hit or miss depending on the person. And the service is relatively fast. The interior isn't a pleasant place to be and doesn't look too clean.

Plenty of Aloha spirit along with excellent value for Hawaiian fast food. Big portions - I always have enough leftover for a second meal. Also, the option for steamed vegetables (at no extra cost) and available brown rice allows for big taste with fewer calories is greatly appreciated.

The food here is surprisingly good, better than what I expected. I was impressed by the BBQ combo which is a fully loaded meal. A little heavy on the starches, however. Worth a visit.

Delicious Hawaiian food! Very good service! Strongly recommend the BBQ MIX that serves with steamed rice and Mac salad! Chicken Katsu and Kalua Pork are always good too.

You come here for the BBQ and probably the macaroni salad. Its serviceable and you get exactly what you order. Portions are good and price is reasonable. Restaurant itself is a bit dirty, but service is still fast.
