It's unfortunate that they were not open during their posted hours so I wasn't able to try it out. Me and my friend planned our day around having lunch here. The hours on here are incorrect, the hours posted on their door and the phone number listed on the Google page are all incorrect. Breaks my heart because I'm finding this inconsistency with many of our black owned restaurants lately.It was 5 other patrons that tried to enter as well.

I have been eating at the Nappy Chef for years and his food never misses. NY fave is the reggae shrimp tacos, sooooo good. I'm so sad to see him close his doors.

Ordered Buffalo Wings for the Super Bowl and was NOT disappointed. I’ve drove past this spot many times throughout the years and am so mad it took me this long to give it a try. The wings were HOT and were very generous in size. I’m pretty sure they were the best wings I’ve ever had. THANKYOU

After my second visit in one week I can say that I will be a regular. They have great service and the food is great. They season the food just right and the lemonade is the bomb! Have the side salad for lighter option and I heard the fries are great. I see why they call the seafood crack pasta. It’s addictive.

I recently started working in Charlotte and all I've been hearing about is the Nappy Chef. I finally got to try it and the food was delicious!! I came two days in a row. If you're in Charlotte it's a must try.

We got the salmon cheesesteak, jerk mac, Buffalo chicken fries, and henny bbq wings. Everything was DELICIOUS. Definitely one our new favorite spots. You gotta one of the flavored lemonades too! Good customer service. Would give more stars if I could
