Brooks' Sandwich House

Very good! I decided to try this while I can. I got a loaded double cheeseburger for $10.60. It’s not cheap, but worth it. Fast & good customer service.

My hotdogs and burgers were hitting. For yearrrrrrrs their food has never change the taste. I was born here in Charlotte. Some restaurants cafes and diners have shut down or changed their taste. NOT BROOKS. I ALWAYS HAVE A TASTE FOR THEIR DOGS AND BURGERS.

Wonderful burgers and amazing onion rings. I would definitely recommend this place. Bring some lawn chairs as they don't have any seating.

Hard to beat! Try the sausage links all the way. Best thing on the menu. Worth the drive. Plan to call ahead 10-15 mins ahead of time and your food will be ready shortly after you arrive. A true Queen City Gem. Local favorite

The burger was tasty and good. I personally think this place is overrated. It was voted best burger in Charlotte if my memory serves me correctly. The atmosphere does not exist because you have to eat outside.

I'll keep this short and to the point. Brooks' having the title of 'worlds best burger' on their front sign is like a really bad joke.The wedges they call 'fries' were undercooked and the burger was flavorless and underwhelming with the cheese tasting like Kraft Singles.If you want a burger, you're better off making some at home than going here.

This business not only has good food but they're good people. Google them. But this is about the food and their burger is one of the best in Charlotte. The chilli is great on the burgers or hotdogs. They only take cash so stop at your bank and grab some cash. If you don't, don't worry they have an ATM machine on site. I'd also recommend you order in advance. I've waited a while before. Since Brooks is a walk up, there's no standing or sitting inside. They have covered picnic tables. I ordered in advance and when I arrived, I waited about 2 minutes to get my food. I've eaten everywhere in Noda and this burger spot is better than all of them. The spots you're thinking about over there are hype. Brooks keeps it simple and is the real deal.

The burgers are great!! Made to order and very friendly customer service. The sides items is also tasty. Waited for about 5 minutes from order to finish, in which I ordered three burgers. Don't be fooled by the pictures, if it's your first time, go with a single burger. The double burgers cam be alot of burger to eat, especially if you get bacon add on. Really important to know, they only take cash. It is an ATM outside, but it will be a 2.50 surcharge. Overall, it's well worth the buy.

TAKE CASH- they don’t accept any thing else. And the ATM there is $2.50. -Okay- nowGreat service! Kinda pricey though. The taste must be on point because they have been around for a long time and not once that I can remember have been on the news for low food grade. I loved the open - STANDING- waiting space and easy ordering process too. I got 3 beef hotdogs - all the way and a flounder sandwich. That came up to $18. & a 11 minutes wait time. Again, not bad at all. If my guys like the food, I’ll definitely return for more!

Iconic, delicious, a great value, an almost historical experience. No plastic, bring cash. There is an ATM and for $2.50 you can get cash there. You MUST go to Brooks!

This is a hometown favorite, the Brooks family are amazing folks, salt of the earth and make equally amazing food! I am not exaggerating when I say I crave there cheese burgers. If your in Noda area around lunch time do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't regret it!

This is, as of 7/6/21, only my 2nd time getting food from Brooks Sandwich Shop. Last time, I had just the double burger all the way. This time, I had the double burger all the way and a hot dog all the way. These guys are better than Cook Out. And I say that with all seriousness. I recommend the double burger all the way, and the hot dog all the way, with some Texas Pete sprinkled on both. You'll be glad you went here.

The food does not live up.to it's hype, though I have had worse. The burger was dry, the bun was absolutely nothing special and the fries were soggy but since they were drenched in salt they tasted good.

I enjoyed the bacon single w/cheese all the way. Ingredients used are not the best. Chili cheese fries with added coleslaw and onions was a disappointing experience. Chili is ground beef.

Hot dogs are not good anymore. They changed brands because of price im sure. Hamburgers are the only thing left original and awesome. They dont have homemade ranch anymore or the good frys. Please dont think im bashing yall. I am just being 100% honest. I still go here twice a month. I started going here in 1991..

Highly overrated. It was fine, but not as good as a 5 guys burger. I'd heard their chili was amazing, but it lacked something. By no stretch was it horrible, but I was disappointed after a 45 minute drive to get there. Unless I'm in the neighborhood, I can't see me ever going back.

Brooks Sandwich Shop had the BEST CHILI hands down!! There Hotdogs and hamburgers are the best in Charlotte NC!!! The home cut fries are definitely on the money as well!! The staff are great people and they definitely take care of their customers!!
