Simple little place for a yummy dog! Never a disappoint. I usually get the chili dog with onion. Could do better on the drinks options.

I had driven by this place for a long time and always wanted to try it. Finally stopped in with my daughter and my dad. Food was made to order, or only complaint was the tatertots were so over done they were crunchy the whole way through. Friendly staff, (although them standing at the counter staring at us while we ate was a bit strange) but the music they were playing was so loud we couldn't hear our own conversation.

Undercooked fries and onion rings. Basic tasteless bun and I asked for no ice but received ice. No smiles or happy atmosphere. playing music might help.

This place has been around for a long time. The food is OK but is a bit over-priced and has not improved much over the years. But give it a try if you're the old fashion type.

Holy hot dogs! (And more) these dogs have just the right "snap" with each bite, the Happy Hound is packed with so much goodness...onions, relish, tomato, ect. Mouth watering for sure, and it's probably one of the safest places to eat, with Los Gatos PD across the street. You can order inside or at the walk up window. Highly recommend!

Hot dog was good but the happy burger not a fan. The bread eas crumbling and meat was dry. Waited 25 min. Not sure if I will visit again.

Delicious chili cheese fries ,hamburgers, Veggie burgers, hotdogs, milkshakesThey have inside and outside seating. My only regret is not having the onion rings oh well next time .

This is the best hot dog in the world. I have eaten so many hot dogs. This place is by far and away my favorite! The best hot dogs and combinations. Parking can be a little tough it is worth it. I just wish they had some t-shirts for sale. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Classic 1950's burger joint lovingly preserved providing authentic tasting burgers, fries and milkshakes at affordable prices. Small order of fries is enough for two people.

The Happy Hound is an old time small hot dog, burger and fries shack. I know them primarily for chili and cheese covered items. I think they have chicken also. The hot dogs are huge and smothered with tons of chili and cheese ?. A must stop, especially on a sunny weekend day!

Love their hot dogs. It pops in your mouth when you bite into it. It's so juicy too. I love their kraut dog. It is covered with sauer kraut that I have to usea fork and knife. Delicious!!!

I had the Happy Hound's cheese burger with a side of onion rings and a banana shake. The bomb! The food is always on point. Their dogs are the best, the shakes are always old school thick and the service is steller. Highly recommended.

Very good ? all beef hot dogs. My sister ordered the hot dog ?, she said it was very good. I got the double cheese burger w/ American cheese. A little greasy, but oh soooo good. Looking forward to trying the hot dog next time. I also liked that you had the option of either fries or tater tots. Variety of milkshakes too.

Not only do they serve great hotdogs. It hamburgers too.The fries , onion rings n shakes are good too.Prices reasonable, service is about 10-15 to get food.Recommend Ordering online n picking up.Limited parking and seating.

Very tasty, high quality dogs. Fries were good and the onion rings are among the best we've had in the Bay Area. Chocolate milkshake was excellent.All employees were wearing appropriate, high quality masks.

The best blackberry milk shake anywhere. My wife's favorite and she's compared them to all the other shake options. Their dogs are fantastic and what a variety--as it should be at a Happy HOUND. But the real sleeper is their burgers--tender, juicy, tasty. Sort of like if an In-n-Out burger had mated with a Five Guys burger.

My daughter order chili cheese hot dog, the bun fell apart with too much chili beans, I order hot dog with everything, at the end of my hotdog, I ended up with more bun. Wasnt as good as Mark's Hotdogs. ??

We were just driving by and the place looked popular, so decided to check it out. It was yummy hotdogs for sure! Really generous with the cheese and other ingredients. We had a hound dog and a cheese dog and both were yummy. There were customers constantly coming in and out. It was definitely worth a try. Will be back!

A great spot for an excellent, straightforward burger and fries at a decent price. They have a couple of options like bacon and cheese and a few alternatives like hotdogs. The fries alone are worth a visit.

Decided to try something different. Unfortunately, we didn't find it as enjoyable as some people. Maybe it was an off day? The mini corndogs tasted good, but were tiny. There weren't enough to fill up a child. The garlic parmesan fries were soggy at best and raw inside at worst. There was so much Parmesan on top that it was hard to find the fries beneath. The chicken sandwich my partner had was ok. Mostly bread, but otherwise ok. After spending $27, I went home and made myself something to eat for dinner. ?

Nice spot for a quick lunch, had a hot dog & a cup of Chilli. Wasn't happy as the cup of Chilli was cold , and hot dog was also cold . Could definitely do better.

Very good burgers. I would bet that Happy Hound has the best hot dogs in the valley.I would recommend the cheese dog or the chili/cheese dog. Also the mexi-burger.You can't go wrong here. The only drawback is the limited parking.

I just passed by this restaurant and I saw lots of people here having foods, so I bought one hot dog what they’re famous for. The price is reasonable and I did not wait for a long time! The best part was the clerk can remember what everyone ordered! The hotdog is yummy. Crunchy outside and the wrapped flour isn’t too thick! It’s fit for a snack!

A nice and classic hot dog place that almost anyone passing by would enjoy. Their hot dogs are ballpark size (on the smaller side) and have some interesting options. It's nice to see corn dogs on the menu.

Only disappointments were banana milkshake wasn't made with real bananas, hot dog "sqweeks" when you bight into it & it cost $1.10 to add cheese to a hotdog!

This place is ALWAYS amazing, had the MexiDog this visit, a 14 inch beef hotdog wrapped in tortilla with chili, cheese, tomatoes and onions.... Personally love this menu item but truthfully everything here is very good, some of the best hot dogs, hamburgers and it's not Michelin rated, but it's about the experience. There's an amazing, almost magical vibe like when dining at Happy Hound you find yourself at the intersection of great food, great experience and Los Gatos nostalgia that all come together to make this place special. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed. They're also on Doordash so if you get stuck at home or work, they'll deliver as well, enjoy!
