Food is really good, service is good. The reason for lacking one star is their method of serving.They ask every single customer for their phone number, and text you when you can come and pick up your order. For the high prices they charge they need to bring the meal to your table or don't ask for tips. More importantly, I don't like sharing my phone number out loud in front of other people I don't know...kinda a strange method.You might get sticker shot on their prices...very large portions help make up for higher than average prices. Which is why I don't understand why they don't bring the meal to your table.

Seating is ackward with the different section and mixed table heights. Then one seating section is loud and the other one isnt. Food is fresh, tender meat. Service was fast. Not for vegetarians!

Had a fantastic lunch at Armadillo Texas BBQ! The brisket was a highlight—tender and delicious. The mashed potatoes and peanut coleslaw were awesome, and the pork ribs were okay. The nice atmosphere and lots of seats added to the overall positive experience.

Very dry and under seasoned pork on my pulled pork sandwich. Did not come with coleslaw sadly and only a small cup of bbq sauce. Certainly not fork tender and hand shredded. More like overcooked and torn apart/cubed. Ordered with a side of potato salad, received a mediocre cornbread muffin with rock hard apple butter and no utensil to spread it. Massively overpriced for that experience. The only decent thing was the brioche bun which it the only thing they didn't make.

Prices are steep for the portion sizes. Portions overall have been inconsisten and underwhelming.The food tastes good, for a chain, and the store has always been clean and staff have been friendly.

Genuinely shocked at how mediocre BBQ can be. Dry, underspiced pork, served with (not cooked in) barbeque sauce. On the side. In a little tiny cup. No coleslaw or even pickles on the pulled pork sandwich. Three ribs for 20 bucks? Not to mention screwing up the order and serving cornbread with rock hard, frozen butter. Unreal.
