We came here after the zoo and for the price it was great! I don’t know why other people reviewing this restaurant expected top notch extremely high quality food. It’s fast food people! I only paid 8 dollars for my meal and it was very good. The waitress was very nice too. All in all I would come here again.

This place is so great! I don’t understand why anyone would go to Colima’s when Mexico Lindo is a block away with wayyyy better, actually authentic, well seasoned food that you don’t have to wait in line for. The burritos are great! Chilaquiles are amazing! They don’t miss.

Great spot to grab some Mexican food in the neighborhood. Very nice and helpful service. family each got burritos and all were a hit. Fair prices for delicious food. Glad that I gave them a try, will keep going back!

Best shrimp chimichanga I ever tasted. Will never go to any other Mexican restaurant. It was that great.I like Colima's which is close, but that is fast food compared to this which is real food.This place is great.

Yum, my new favorite North Park Mexican restaurant. They have vegan and vegetarian options with great prices and friendly service. You have to try their beans!! Also, I spoke with the owner and they don’t use lard which is amazing!

This is really upsetting and order Two carne asada tacos with orange cheese as you see there’s hardly any cheese on them and asked for guacamole on the side and didn’t get it very disappointed normally the foods good $20 very disappointed there Chilaquiles are really good but after today I will not be back

Excellent neighborhood taco shop! Had a burrito from them for the first time yesterday and it was one of the best I've had in a while. The prices are slightly higher then what are reported on Google, but I've been seeing that a lot lately due to inflation (only an extra $1, not a huge increase).

So I just had the best burger I've had in years. Wow.After paying id assumed I'd just grab my box and go but no, the man then places my box in a bag along with 2 packets each of mayo, ketchup, mustard, and a salt and pepper packet wrapped neatlly in a stack of napkins. How thoughtful, seriously. You just don't see these type of considerate things anymore. Im beyond pleased.

I ordered the wet chicken burrito and my partner ordered the California burrito. My chicken was very strange and it almost tasted like pork. Both of us agree our burritos had a weird flavor. We got guacamole on the side and it tasted store bought. The service was good, and they even threw in chips which we didn’t pay for. I wouldn’t eat there again.

I've been here a couple times now and everytime I am pleased by the freshness and authenticity of this place. My most recent visit I had their Posole. I was blown away by how good it was. My mom makes the best Posole, obviously! But, their Posole has that flavor that only a traditional Mexican mom can capture! You have my Loyalty Mexico Lindo!

Do not let the appearance fool you.. this little place is actually AWESOME! I have eaten in Mexican restaurants for over 20 year's. I was amazed that they had Capirotada (bread pudding) This desert is only eaten on Holly days in Mexico. I was so happy to find a place that has bread pudding. Last time I had bread pudding was when my abuelita was alived.They actually came closer to my Granny's taste. They seem that they take pride in making amazing Mexican dishes. I can't wait to come back. Service was wonderful.

Ratings need to account for price, and this place is a great value. A true "hole in the wall" with competent Mexican staples at prices you mostly haven't seen since the 90s. Friendly, neighborhood feel.

The Phillysteak sandwich is superb!I am from the East coast originally.And a good philly steak is hard to come byhere in San Diego.This restaurant is quaint...the cooks are very good at their skill. The boss...well he is just a dear.Go enjoy!

I'm sorry, but this isn't good! Took 10 minutes to take my order, 20 minutes for it to cook and 20 seconds to find out it was nasty....no thanks! Maybe I'm not used to an orange sauce, no sour cream and yellow and white cheese....

An absolutely amazing restaurant! If you are looking for the best place to get Mexican Cuisine, this is definitely the place you want to go. All the employees are super nice and the food comes out very quickly. Obviously the food tastes amazing as well.

I have been a patron of this great establishment since I first moved to San Diego. The name drew my attention, the food has kept me loyal. The menu has the basic American/Mexican diner staples but the quality is what sets the food apart. From the New York strip to the clear ice cubes, this place is truly a beautiful reminder of an old world. Best restaurant in San Diego to go if you want an amazing meal at a fair price.o

This place never fails me, consistently and shockingly delicious. The best chilaquiles I have ever had. I have heard the burger is amazing as well, but I can't be swayed from my chilaquiles. The Carne Asada is tender and perfectly cooked. I honestly can't say enough about how good the food is here, even the coffee is fantastic, and like someone else said, for some reason and ice water is better than any other ice water. I don't know what they do, but it is something. Don't go here and be in a rush, this is a slow pace place, but worth every minute. Let's hope Guy Fieri never hears about this place, because I don't want to have to stand in line for a table.
