Jake’s of Saratoga

Jake's of Saratoga is a "Happenin' Place" in the Bay Area... great food, staff, and atmosphere. Paul, the Manager, runs a tight ship there... never a bad meal or complaint. Great WiFi too, very fast to get "stuff" done on your lunch break. Lots of HiDef TV's to watch all sorts of sporting events. Been going here off and on since Jake's opened. Jake's has THE perfect straws for creating "Water Worms." ; )

Been going to Jakes of Saratoga for over 35 years. Love their crust and great toppings. Only problem is their third party on-line ordering system. There is an estimated ready time which often has not bearing whatsoever in real life. There seems to be no feedback from the restaurant to the web provider as to how busy they are.Tonight, I ordered at 5 minutes to 6:00 PM, estimated ready time was 6:21. We got there at 6:20 and wait time was 25 minutes. We got our pizza at 6:45. We live less than 1-1/4 mile from the restaurant and can be there when advertised. If we get there on time we wait. If we get there late, we risk the pizza sitting for a time and getting soggy. We always order vegetarian and that comes topped with fresh tomatoes. We love their crust, but not so much when soggy.The restaurant staff is terrific, the web site ready estimate sucks big time.

Love the crust not too thin not to thick and nice and crunchy. Good tangy sauce and the cheese is flavourful. Friendly staff and good service. The pizza takes a little longer to cook but it's worth it.

Went during the week around lunch time, so it wasn't busy. Food is incredible. Must try to the Philly chicken with garlic fries!!

Four generations of my family have loved Jake's and every time we are in the area we stop in! The pizza is great, the service never disappoints, and the game is always on!

Jakes is a great place to stop for a quick bite. It can get busy so call ahead for pickup! They are mostly consistent with their food although I have had some pizzas come out a little undercooked. Overall pretty reasonable prices and inviting atmosphere.

Love the food and sitting outside on the patio. A great place to watch sports too. Great selection of wine and beer. My Mom visited today and always are greeted by staff. The chicken Ceasar salad is so delicious!

I love Jake's, The garrett station, the original Garrett, I miss the Oasis... what happened? All the same owner, all the same menu.I eat at Garrett Station at least 2 times a week, maybe more?If you want a cool family sports bar with great burgers and casual atmosphere, go to Jake's.

Went in for a quick bite to eat before our kids volleyball game at Saratoga high school. It was the first game of the football season and it wasn't even packed like normal because of COVID.We were able to sit away from the crowd that was there for the game in a booth and still see the game.Food was ready quickly and was delicious, I ordered the BBQ bacon burger with sweet potatoes fries and my girlfriend ordered the Philly cheese steak with regular fries and she ordered a blue moon beer to drink with it.Everything was great and we had a nice chill dinner before our kids game, so it was a great start to our night.Jakes is always recommended no matter what city!

Jakes has been a staple of my childhood. The staff is super friendly and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! This is one of those rare places where all of my friends/family and I have different go-to orders. Do yourself and the community a favor and go to Jakes

Good food and plenty of it no matter what ordered. Great burgers and pizza and any combo you want. Big menu lots of parking, tv monitors usually with sports playing, pin ball machines. Noisy at times but that is the way it is. Been going there over 30 yrs and will continue.

First time here, but heard great things about this place before going. I ordered a personal pizza and not only was the flavor of the pizza 10/10, but the size of the pizza was way bigger than I expected. It is rare than something exceeds expectations, but this place definitely did that for me.

Great food ! Never been here but my first experience was a good one. I order the steak sandwich it was delicious, and the fries were nice and crispy. Would recommend to other people.

Perfectly cromulent American pizzeria/bar style affair. Pizzas are good, as are the wings, hot dogs, the selection of beers, and even the salads. Perfect spot to watch the game, or celebrate a victory

We've had the pizza here several times and always enjoyed it. The draft beer selection is not the best. Normally seems to only have a couple craft beers and more taps dedicated to big name light beers. Overall chill place to hang out with friends who want a variety of foods but can take a long time for the pizza when they're busy.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating our daughter’s birthday with a couple friends. The food was well prepared and the staff was friendly and helpful. I wish we had brought more quarters as the kids enjoyed playing games before and after dinner. They don’t serve dessert, but they were gracious enough to allow us to bring in our own birthday cookies. We took our time and enjoyed a lovely dinner party. First time since pandemic that it felt almost normal.

In my opinion Jake's of Saratoga is an institution. I have been frequenting this location for more than 20 years. Their pizzas are above average in quality and the restaurant is usually not too busy. Occasionally you can find yourself waiting a long time for a pizza and searching for a table but this is a very infrequent occurrence. There's also a selection of salads and hot sandwiches if you're not in the mood for pizza. Update: I was a little disappointed when I went for a take-out pizza today. It was a very light load of customers but it took a long time for them to put my pizza in the oven. I felt like the workers did not want to give great service. If this happens again I'm definitely going to lower my rating.

This place is very fun and everyone who works here is great.It is convenient to pay at the counter rather than going through the hassle of splitting the bill.I like the salmon burgers! They are fresh and they come with a side. They are reasonably priced as well! Honestly the prices are good.I also love that the place is open late.I will be back :)

Lots of space to sit including outside with TV’s & heaters to watch sports. Service was pleasant. We had wings which both is liked. Also had BBQ chicken Pizza which was not that good. It had lots of meat and pineapple on it but the sauce was not tasty.

Went here for breakfast today and it didn’t disappoint. The place has just open , they do have many around the Bay Area, it’s beautiful done inside and serve was outstanding. Would recommend this place to all.

The food was a 5 but service and wait was a 1.5. Came there when it was slammed around 8 p.m. it was obvious they were understaffed as they have a "now hiring" sign posted in multiple locations. Food was exceptional but overall it took a hit due to the long wait and lack of servers/service. The lady's there were working their butts off but it was too much for a skeleton crew to handle. I won't be back until I see it's been well staffed

Straight forward ordering, kinda like the Garrett in Campbell. Didn't have pizza but the sandwiches are great. Very filling. Good value for your money.

My daughter and I were working in the area and stumbled upon this great pizza place! She is a vegetarian so we were able to order a half-veggie and half sausage, pepperoni & mushroom pizza to share. We had more than we could eat and leftovers for another 2 meals at home. Plus, the garlic fries were terrific and the best bargain in town! Highly recommend Jake's and we look forward to checking out the other locations too!

Jakes is a fantastic place for a pizza, burger or just a beer and hangout. Food is well priced. The clientele is fun and eclectic. And it’s nicely no drama and non pretentious- not something you can say about every place in Saratoga! There’s indoor and outdoor seating, and best of all, they have pinball ??

We went on a weekend. They were busy but staff were keeping things moving. The staff were so sweet and accommodating with my sodium restriction. We enjoyed our burgers. The pizza smelled and looked amazing! My friend said it tastes amazing as well. I did sneak a piece of the Italian sausage from the pizza. He wasn't wrong. We will be going again.

Very nice staff, it feels here very cozy and nice. The pizza that we ordered was very delicious especially the dough was soft and crispy at the same time. It was very nice to spend time here especially if you want to eat and get some work done.

Go here to support a local pizza place that's competitive with the best chains. The menu extends to a number of sandwiches and salads, so there are good alternative options.I like the casual, local vibe that reminds me of places I used to haunt decades ago. No fuss, good food, watch some sports, hang out in the great outdoor patio that's far better than any pocket dining on a street.

The best local pizza place! So many folks are regulars, coming 2-5 times a week! The pizza is excellent (be sure to ask for 'thin crust' our favorite, something on their 'secret menu'). The wedge salad is a favorite (get the dressing on the side if you want to control how much). Great place to watch sports as they have lots of screens to watch multiple games. Staff is EXCELLENT, service is great. Lots of tables for large groups. Good for parties, after soccer, baseball, etc., games for teams.Managers are excellent and Jakes is a well run crew. If you're in the neighborhood be sure to grab lunch or dinner. It's addicting!

Fellow Oasis regulars, Jakes has what you're looking for. While it's not the perfect replacement, food, beer, and atmosphere are great. Friendly staff as well.
