BFF Burgers. Fish And Fries

It’s inside the food court at Grossmont Mall!!My daughter really wanted fries! They were super yummy 😋 The service was super nice & it was super fast & well made! Seasoned perfectly!! She even gave extra ketchup & didn’t even think twice!! Will Definitely go back just because the employee was nice!!

Bland food, no salt, pepper nothing, I got a burger and zucchinis and they both had no flavor, but the ranch and ketchup I put on them. First and last time eating here!

Good burgers, fries were also good. Not really anything to write home about but overall they have tasty food at low prices. Food only took about 15 minutes to be ready and the cashier was very friendly. Solid 8/10 will eat here again some day.

I was knock-out-surprised by my excellent experience here. Food was really good, including a real hand grilled quality beef burger, lightly battered fish that was really decent fish, damn good steak fries, and a soft drink. The number one thing for me was the warm welcoming person-friendly service. The ambiance is pretty cool, slick fifties throwback. Very clean and air conditioned. To me quality service and environment matter as much as the food, and Roya offered me very attentive service. Super cheep considering what they offer. This place crushes the competition.

Stoped off at this burger joint . The service and food was outstanding. My wife broke here foot so I needed to eat something while I waited. MY day was made better by there kindness. Check it out you won’t be disappointed.

I have dietary restriction so i chose this place, they made my burger the way i needed, no bun but the reason for only 4 stars is they advertise mushrooms but they didnt have any and i had asked for grilled onions and they had put regular onions on my burger

Come here semi regularly and it's got a few quirks but it's worth getting anyhow imo.The wait is gonna be a bit no matter what (even when they're empty) but the food is fresh and worth the wait. I'd say come about 15 or so min before you wanna eat. If it's busy it gets mixed up a bit sometimes as well so double check the food before you go.I honestly feel like it's problems are more from management than service. The staff is always super nice and willing to fix anything but they always seem confused and like they're rushing even at non-busy periods. Seems a bit understaffed (though with the job crisis going on I don't really blame them).Definitely worth the trip though, I'll keep going and might bump up my review in the future if the issues get better/resolved.

Way better than expected. As a mall food court location you're not really expecting quality. Usually you get fast, and cheap. But flavor and freshness is usually lacking g from food courts.This location, the service was exceptional right from the walk up. The order took a bit longer than fast food but not unreasonable.The cost: actually a tad cheaper than you expect from a food court. I would recommend this location for anyone dining in a budget at this mall.The food: food was all freshly made with real fish in the fish pieces and realy white meat chicken in the chicken nuggets. Both were well seasoned and flavorful.This is the place for a good meal at a good price while shopping at this mall. I would actually come here just for the fish even with out visiting the mall.

Had a bacon cheese burger with fries. Burger tasted great, even if it was a bit small. Fries were lightly seasoned and served with a dollop of ketchup. Service was fast and friendly. The root beer tasted weak, probably just needed to refresh the syrup.

I was in the area and stopped to have the fish and chips. The fish was lightly breaded, crispy, and flaky on the inside. Not oily. Great with the malt vinegar.

It’s our first time and we loved the food. Tried fish and chips and also some chicken nuggets. Everything was delicious. The staff was very nice, friendly and funny. Enjoyed our time there. Will be back again.

My meal was very fresh however, I had ordered the shrimp combo and my shrimp there's only one side of my shrimp they cut it in half I guess to be able to spread the shrimp more I have more pieces so I'm not exactly sure.

Ordered thru uber eatsDriver was nice and friendly and delivered in timely manner after pick up(ira in el cajon ca thank you)Now with the restaurantFirst thing waited over an hour for order to even be ready for driver to pick up. Time kept changing (about 4 times). When order was recieved it was missing a fry order from my kids. Chili cheese fries was really bland. No flavor had to add black pepper and salt myself. Fish to the fish and chips had no flavor husband was really disappointed. Kids said they enjoyed they burgers. Was wishing for a better outcome since this was our first time trying this place out. Idk if I would give them a second try!!

This could be the best burger in La Mesa. Wonderfully seasoned, juicy, and a near-perfect balance of condiments. I usually get a double or triple cheeseburger for the full effect. The fries...? Not really my style (a little on the thick side for me- catsup is a must). My wife loves the fish. Looks like they use good quality fillets. Like I say on most of my reviews, your milage may vary, but I don't think you can go wrong with their offerings. Buy local!

Whenever I go to Grossmont shopping center, I stop by BFF ! The staff there is very friendly and welcoming always and THE FOOD is delicious. Quick service and fresh burgers. I definitely recommend giving it a try !!

I had Fish and Chips and my girlfriend had California burger. Omg!!!! Can’t explain how good the food was. Wasn’t expecting from a restaurant at the food court. Service was friendly. Restaurant is super cute, clean with dinner vibe to it.Can’t wait to go back!!!

Hands down, the best place I've been in San Diego for fish and chips, and their burgers are really good too. Places who only do fish and chips got nothing on these guys. The only place I've had better cuts of cod is The Codfather in Charleston, SC, and it's only the size that wins out, taste is near identical.

My uncle and I decided to stop here and eat on our way to do some shopping. He ordered the 10 piece wings and I got the zucchini combo. Let me start off by saying the place was very clean and the workers were extremely nice friendly. Janna is the best. My uncle almost cried because the wings were perfect. I started dancing in my chair because my zucchini fries and onion rings were too hot to handle. I also had a vanilla milkshake and it made all the boys come to the yard. Everything was perfect

I was hanging out with my friend at the mall and I wanted some food. We went to the food court and I decided to try the food here. It's so good!!! My cheseburger was amazing and the fries were good too. I shared my cried with my friend and she also liked them. The service was quick as well. I would reccomendend this restraunt.

So bomb and the girl working the counter was such a sweetie. You don't get that kind of genuinely kind and super-attentive service too much anymore these days. I mean, honestly it was exceptional.As for the noms, I honestly wasn't expecting much. I was just kinda peckish and saw it had good reviews. That said, even though I don't live nearby (I just needed to make a return to cost plus and it was like two minutes closer than the one in la jolla ??‍♀️), I'll drive out of my way for this place next time I'm craving battered n' fried fish and zucchini! So yummy! No pics cuz I shoved it all in my face....

Took awhile to get the food, but once we got it, it was really good. The coating on the shrimp was exceptional and the onion rings were nice and crispy.

This place is so damn good homemade burgers so juicy and the fries are the bomb. Remember the Wendy's fries back in the day well this place makes them. My son loved the Rootbeer float. We will be eating here allot. Prices are great for homemade food.
