Ordered their tomato salsa without Cilantro. They asked again, without cilantro? I said yes. When I got home, the tomato salad had extra cilantro🤷🏽‍♂️My sister ordered their kale salad w avocado. The avocado was still unripe and I could barely cut it w a kitchen knife. It wasn’t fit to eat. Not impressed with their opening day.

This is one of the few places in La Mesa that I frequent often. The food is decent and they always have great beers on tap. Pre-covid they had a really nice happy hour menu that I hope to see back eventually when they get back on their feet. Now that they are getting back up and running, have the outdoor patio seating and don't have happy hour like they used to, seating doesn't seem to be an issue as it used to be. It is really tiny and we have arrived often in the past with long lines and no place to sit leaving us little choice but to go elsewhere. Hopefully the outdoor seating stays!

I guess being that the word "kitchen" was in the name of the restaurant, I thought there would be better attention paid to the quality of the food. But this is primarily a beer place. Granted, I don't eat meat, but their chopped salad left much to be desired, and even had what looks like wilted arugula on it! It reminded me of the salads they served at my public school cafeteria, except this salad was $14 plus tax plus tip. I also ordered the truffle fies, and it came out soggy with grease. I hesitated to write this review because the staff were all super friendly and accommodating, so I gave them 5 stars. Again, come here for some alcohol, but eat somewhere else.

Everything took forever to arrive at the table, not just the food but just extra sauces and the drinks. The only good thing was the pretzel and the one of the burgers we tried. The fries would’ve been good if they weren’t cold when they arrived. The fries were cold but the chicken tenders that were served on top were too hot. Couldn’t enjoy them together.

Steve and the crew were great. The club was rustic and yummy. Their garlic fries were to die for. Didn't try their plethora of craft beers, but will definitely try next time.A great experience for hungry peeps.

No wonder they went out. The food was cold, terrible, late. The kitchen staff seemed to not care. the guy running the bar was solid, though. I wanted to love this place as its close by, but it just didnt have that oomph anymore. I hope Mammoth brings that energy back.

I had the fish and chips ? yum. The fish was nice and crispy on the outside and was perfect on the inside, nice and juicy. We also had a pretzel have to have their homemade mustard dipping sauce it is delicious and they also have a great variety of beers to choose from.

Got the burger and it was delicious. Fiancée got the bacon sandwich and that was also very delectable. The fries though, crunchy and garlicky, makes a fun party in your mouth

Super great local spot with delicious food and a great tap selection. The staff is very nice and super attentive, and the whole place is casual in a really comfortable way. We've gone for brunch mainly, and everything is super tasty, but the carnitas hash in particular is my favorite. All in all, highly recommended for a good beer and great food.

Quaint little spot, no parking except on the street in the residential area. Prices are a bit more overprices for the food options provided.Don't expect more than a sandwich & some limited side options.Appears to be a local hang out spot w/a bar area.Service was fast, polite & friendly, food taste & quality was ok.

The carnitas fries have a sheet of burnt cheese cooked on the grill then placed on the chips. When you try to cut through the cheese the fries get smashed and it's super rubber like. We talked to one of the staff about them who informed us that this item is the most returned item on the menu, if the item gets returned that much, why not change it. Customer service was wonderful though.

Terrific beer selection, and some of the best bar food in San Diego. I highly recommend getting the pulled pork.4/5 stars only because I still need to try all the food. Will be back!

Why in gods name did this place even touch the menu they originally had to begin everything. It was fresh, it was flavorful and now it’s all different. So confusing because every time I came to craft kitchen it was busy. I was there pretty regularly as well. So disappointing. Idk if the business was sold and the new owners had to have their own hands in changing the menu, but I think it wasn’t the wisest decision by whoever made that call.The food isn’t terrible by any means and I would still eat here. But being a small restaurant, you’d think changing your menu which brought your local customers back often would be a no brainer to not mess with it. They repeated visits to the restaurant for a reason. It was just from the beer on tap either.

Great spot to pop in for a pint, or 2. They re-fill growlers for your to-go beer. Awesome selection of local San Diego Brews. They also have Pliny the Elder on TAP. Didn't try the food, but the plates coming out the kitchen, looked AMAZING. SERVICE WAS GREAT. MUST GO, WILL GO AGAIN. ✌?

Craft Kitchen had the perfect neighborhood family vibe to it. The staff was very friendly and most of the people there seemed like locals around the neighborhood gather and the local pub.All the food was great and I highly recommend the Kale Caesar. Hint hint, the gf’s love the salad offerings at pubs. For those who don’t want to stay it seemed like their to go counter was as busy and the restaurant area. It’s def worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood.

This is a Craft Beer place. It is a nice place to come with friends to have a m.j dice conversation with a glass of wine or craft beer. They mostly have finger food. The habanero plum wings are very, very good. Chicken club sandwich, not so much.

This place definitely is out of my comfort zone when it came to just looking at the menu. I decided to try their corn dogs as an appetizer. I absolutely enjoyed the corn dogs especially with the dipping sauce provided! I needed to try their hamburger with add ons of avocado and bacon. The burger came with seasoned garlic fries. I liked the burger as it was juicy and the meat was at the perfect medium rare I asked for. As a dessert I got their pretzel that comes with 2 dipping cheeses and 1 honey mustard. Most meals on their menu are big portions which is great when you are starving. They also provide boxes to take home if you don't finish.

We went here for lunch this past week. Sadly I did not get any pictures. ?Having said that, the food was delicious! My husband had chicken fingers, which came with fries. He said they are probably the best chicken fingers he has ever had. They were done to perfection and not greasy at all. The fries are positively fabulous! The perfect amount of crunch and tender.I had macaroni and cheese. It is sooooo yummy. The portion is huge and has given me 3 meals!The service is outstanding and incredibly friendly. The menu is small but has a variety of choices. It is out east off of the 94. If you are in the area, don't miss it! ♡

Food was delicious ? I was surprised at how good the French toast was, usually with that much stuff on top it's kind of too sweet and overwhelming, but it was perfect ?. The lemon zest and in house made berry sauce were an awesome combo. Great deal on mimosas, an entire bottle for $15. Carnitas hash was delicious, and although the carnitas were more like puked pork style, it was still an excellent combo with the sauce and pushed eggs. The breakfast potatoes were on point ? Don't waste your taste buds on the traditional breakfast, it was good but kind of plain, and everything else was so much better.

Food used to be better. Prices went up, but they have everywhere. Presentation went down hill, chicken strips are over cooked and devoid of any seasoning. Fries used to be the best part, but they changed those too and the replacement ones are blah. Been coming here for over 4 years, even during covid and personally don't drink, but my husband does and it would be nice if the food was better.

As always, the staff was friendly and helpful. They're chicken strips and chicken sandwiches are super tasty. The carnitas fries are amazing! They have oysters in the half shell on weekends which go great with their awesome list of beers on tap.
