CRUST KITCHEN

Good food, good selection and good service. We had a group meet there, they were very accommodating. We were able to split the bill the way we wanted and each person enjoyed their food. We are scheduled to meet there again next time.

I really like the style inside and we were seated quickly. Service was prompt but my eggs came cooked incorrectly. They did fix it when asked but then I noticed my bread looked a tiny bit moldy on the corners. Didn’t bring it up as I was already a bother with the eggs. The waiter was fairly upset with the guy who paid behind us because he came up .27¢ short. Kinda awkward.

Ordered the pancakes with eggs, sausage and potatoes. Wayy more food than I was expecting. I think they gave me like 5 scrambled eggs ?. I'm absolutely stuffed.

If you want mediocre food at exorbitant prices then this is your spot. On the flip side, there isn't much else in walking distance in this immediate area; which makes convenience KING.

Got a Chicken Pesto pizza- the toppings were good- nice pesto, big pieces of artichoke hearts- but oddly enough- the CRUST was the weakest ingredient of the entire pie! I was surprised it wasn't a housemade dough or a hand-tossed crust... as the name implies.

We arrived an hour before closing and we're told they could only make pizza and some appetizers since they had already started to close the kitchen. Most of the staff seemed too eager to shut down at the strike of 10 pm. The food wS good, but I would not return for the bad service.

Was Visiting from out of town and stayed at Hotel Circle, we had dinner here or one evening and it was so delicious we decided to come back for breakfast a couple of days later. Fantastic food as well. Highly recommend

One of the best breakfast places we’ve ever been to. Everything was surprisingly well prepared. And lunch was delicious, too! I had the pizza and it was really good. We went 3x in two days while staying in a nearby hotel. And amazingly friendly service!

The menu is epic and that's what drew us in. Unfortunately the food lacked seasoning. It was all cooked correctly though. The peel and eat shrimp was amazing!

This was a nice little discovery! I enjoyed it very much. It was almost like going to have a nice breakfast at someone's house. Everybody obviously knew each other very well, because they were having lots of personal discussions all around me. Not that I didn't get great service, because I did. It just felt very homey.At the waitress's suggestion, I got the Pineapple Cream Soda. She did not steer me wrong. I expected it to have cream in it, but it was really more like a regular cream soda but with that warm pineapple flavor infused into it. Excellent beverage.I also ordered the waffle and egg combo, but I upgraded to the ricotta and lemon curd waffle. That was a seriously good waffle. And I have to say that I was very impressed with whoever cooked my eggs. I got them poached, and poached eggs are apparently very difficult to do well. Half the time they come floating in a cup of warm water, and the other half of the time they're just kind of disintegrated. But these poached eggs were perfect. There was almost no cooking water in my bowl, and the whites and yolks were both cooked exactly the way they should have been. I would come here again just for those eggs. The only thing about the breakfast I didn't really prefer, oddly enough, was the sausage. It was a high quality sausage, I could tell, but it didn't have that rich, sausage flavor that I like. I'm not really sure how else to describe it. It just felt like it was lacking something. Next time I will try the bacon, instead.All that to say, it was an excellent breakfast. $20, not including tip, and I was so full that I wasn't able to finish it. I would absolutely eat here again, and next time I'm in the area, I'm bringing my husband with me and we're swinging by for brunch.

Food was good. French fries were exceptionally delicious. The Buffalo Chicken pizza was quite appetizing, as was the BBQ chicken pizza. The kid's sampler plate looked very yummy, and the kids ate it up. Serving sizes were nicely proportioned. The waiter was attentive. The negative comments that I have are that the food came out one serving at a time and took longer than expected to come out of the kitchen.

I've lived in San Diego for 16 years and drive by Crust on my way to and from work and never stopped... happened to staycation in hotel circle and figured why not. Wow what a surprise!!! Great food... and service... more specifically Jake. He took the visit above and beyond... a must stop if local or visiting.. a true hidden gem! Try the appitiser platter! The calamari was pretty dang good.. oh they had good beer choices... would be a good hangout for friends..

Club sandwich was ok, not very much ham,turkey,or bacon. Loaded tots were ok as well. The desert was terrible, I think they forgot to charge me for it, and if they did charge for it it's over priced.

Food was not hot as it should have been. Very expensive breakfast and gratuity for one person was already included at 18% which I paid but... I usually leave more even if the service was mediocre.

The gravy was really good but not very much of it. The eggs and chicken were also good. The potato was really under cooked and the bacon had the worst flavor. I'd give the food 3 stars but I was so thirsty and out of water almost my whole meal and that's why I gave 2 stars :(

The BEST food in San Diego!!! The pizzas are my favorite!! The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere and decor of this place is great as well!! Highly recommend when in San Diego!

Staying nearby and found Crust Kitchen the first morning. Waffles and eggs one morning and Huevos Rancheros another. Both were great. Staff was friendly and the coffee was great.

We came in 15 mins before close and ordered an extra large pizza to go. It was made to order and delicious! We really appreciated them giving us plates and napkins as well.

Nothing spectacular. Food was ok. I got the tritip philly sandwich which had very good flavor, but the bread was a little too "toasted" for my liking. My husband got the calamari "strips" which honestly looked like fish sticks and their Crust burger which he said was tasty but a little dry for his taste.

Food is fresh and delicious! Even with a group of 20 right before our group of 7 they had excellent service! Very impressed. The liquor store next door has great service too.

Super friendly!! My order was unavailable due to a mess up on post mates website. They gave me another meal free of charge and got it to me as fast as possible. The waitress and the manager were both very nice and helpful. I'll be going back soon.

All around AMAZING. Extremely convenient and located right in hotel circle. They've got free delivery as well! Very extensive menu, but breakfast ends at 2 and dinner doesn't start until 4 so you're limited with what you can order.Clean, minimalist and aesthetic restaurant with kind staff. The price is very reasonable, especially considering how BIG the portion sizes are. Food was delicious and the presentation was great too (see attached pictures- we got the crust sandwich and the crust burger).We'll definitely be ordering again during our stay in San Diego ?

We stayed next door and tried the breakfast and it was AMAZING! The staff is fun and kind. During our 5 day stay we had breakfast twice and pizza to go! Best food of our entire trip. I would highly recommend this clean fun amazing place to anyone in the area.

Inconsistent and poor service for the good food they have to serve 1 and a half hours for fish and chips easy fried food came with 3 pieces and 1 plate instead of 2 there was 2 of us. 2 nights later 2 plates with only 2 fish on each plate not for the price. Very unhappy

Not a review of the food, but the ridiculous experience we had there. We were ordering a to-go pizza, one woman told us her co-worker would take care of us. She didn’t and walked away. 5 minutes later she asked if we were helped and we said no. She was obviously annoyed. We ordered a half and half x-large pizza both priced exactly the same. Somehow they wanted to charge an extra $6 on top. Made no sense. We said forget it, and just ordered a straight pepperoni pizza. They told us the order was already in. LOL. The guys who make the pizza were 5 feet away. Bizzarro world.Get you act together Crust, and get a better attitude.

A couple of burgers with fries... The burgers were better than some restaurants having Gordon frozen food patties, these seemed to be fresher ground and seems like home cooking texture but not the best beef we've ever had. The bun had a slightly hard crust with inside medium /rough texture not fluffy soft nor sourdough rough/chewy. The fries were particularly crunchy outer as if egg batter dipped so an unusual and different variation not your standard fresh fried frozen.Now the service was a tad slow but not snail, they may have been understaffed or had several carryout orders in play.Is the burger gourmet or even high end fast food (Culvers or Steak n Shake) no but not Hardees/Carls either.Ok is good not great

My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner and although it took a very long time to get our food, I really appreciated the people who worked there. I believe there was only 2 waiters and 1 cook. The staff was so nice and everybody in the restaurant seemed displeased but what can you do? A majority of the restaurants are short staffed, I'm just saying be more respectful to the people who work at restaurants. It's not an easy job and it's definitely not fun for them being so short staffed in this pandemic

I ordered the deluxe, sub olives for pineapple. It was delicious! Good flavors, crust is not overwhelming, and the staff is very friendly. I recommend!
